This is my favorite in n out location! I honestly don't think they've ever disappointed me. My go-to order is a double double protein style with whole grilled onions. Usually when I order protein style at other locations, they give me soooo much lettuce that I can barely find the patty underneath. But this location always gets it right - the perfect lettuce-to-burger ratio every time. I also order my fries light well, and PLZ EVERYONE, you must try them this way. It's a total game changer! Went to In-N-Out Burger yesterday to pick up dinner for my family and me since we hadn't had it in a while. Ordered two regular Double-Doubles and one protein-style burger with extra lettuce and extra onions. Everything was fresh and made to order, which is always a plus. There's a drive thru that moves efficiently, and parking is a huge plus here, plenty of space all around, which makes the whole experience stress free. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. While the outdoor seating is a bit limited, the inside has plenty of tables and is clean, bright and well maintained. Even during busier times, everything feels organized and under control. Service here is also on point, quick, friendly and consistent with the quality you expect from In-N-Out. First time on the West Coast so I had to see what the In-N-Out hype was about. We pulled up for a late dinner and even at 10 PM the line was crazy. My wife kept saying "it'll move like Chick-fil-A"... it did not. Still, the line was steady and never stopped. Her family swears they're not big on In-N-Out, but between this location and the one downtown, people were spilling out of both. Tourists maybe, but definitely consistent traffic. I was warned the patties were thin and told to get a 2x2, so naturally I went 3x3 just to be safe. Service was very Chick-fil-A-ish with someone outside taking orders. As you get closer to the window the whole back wall is glass and you can see everybody making food. Felt like watching a museum fish tank but with burgers moving around instead of sharks. We were in line maybe 15 minutes total, grabbed the food, and rushed back to the hotel to crack everything open. The burger was solid. With three patties it hit right. This is a no-frills smashburger style (I went animal style). Is it the greatest burger ever? No. But it was good, satisfying, and I'd definitely go back again. The fries though... they looked like McDonald's fries but had a cardboard type texture that got worse as they cooled down. I didn't want to go animal style on both the burger and fries so I kept them plain, maybe the sauce would've helped. I'm not mad at In-N-Out though. This is a "newer" In-N-Out location. To be honest, I didn't realize it had already been there so long, but I was surprised to see it had opened in July of 2017. I remember when it was first announced, and I also remember when it was a Sizzler before it took its current form. The reason I like this location, especially compared to the other Daly City location on Washington St., is that it's usually less crowded. One thing I don't love about this location though, is the parking. The lot is a little funky, and I've had several experiences where I've had to circle the lot multiple times to find a spot. They of course have the trademark "X" palm trees out front, which is always a fun and unique aspect of every In-N-Out. There is the typical amount of seating inside, plus some! This location has an extended seating area over to the left of the drink station, that I'm not sure I've seen anywhere else. Prices are on par with the other locations in the area, and they also have the display of merch on the right near the registers. Both the restrooms and dining room are generally clean and well maintained. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating when coming to this location. Came with the family after attending a Memorial Service. Was a little later in the evening so we just wanted something quick to take home. I also had watched a movie on the plane where the 2 characters were eating large cheeseburgers so it prompted a craving, LOL! We went thru the drive-thru & it was maybe a 7-car length long wait but went at an efficient pace. There was an attendant outside taking orders on her tablet. Double-Double, no cheese, Animal Style was my order for tonight. Usually I'm Animal-Protein style but I wanted the carbs. Ordered 2 more Double-Doubles, Animal-Style & 2 large fries w/extra Animal-Style sauce packets. We put that on our burgers for extra flavor. The prices went up $2 for a Double Double. My family loves In N Out. So do I. It's an iconic burger & fries, for good reason. There is no hype here: just maximum value & quality for what you pay. My favorite is the double double meal. Classic. The veggies are always crisp & fresh. Real onions with a slight bite. I get an extra patty most times. The fries are real too. Emphasis on real. Like the ones my mom made from fresh cut potatoes. I don't get why In n Out fries get some criticism. The workers are impeccable. Professional. Seem well trained. Very quick service especially since they're swamped all the time! My boyfriend and I ordered Meal #1, a Double Double, and a Flying Dutchman. We didn't realize the Flying Dutchman only came out with two slices of American cheese and two beef patties, but the employees were so sweet and took our order back to put two onions on it for us to eat. This was definitely less messy than the protein style order we had earlier in the week! I think the Double Double is a bit too excessive and cheesy for me, but my boyfriend enjoyed it immensely. I went here today, and it wasn't too crazy yet. Went to use the restroom before ordering, and it was disgusting. Bryan, who took my order, was super nice and efficient. He took my order and repeated it back. There was plenty of seating, so I sat at the counter while I waited for my order Within minutes, my order was ready. I got back to my husband's work, and we enjoyed our food. Like any other In-N-Out, this place is always packed. Sometimes, when you're lucky to go in between the crazy times, it's not too bad. Employees are always super nice and have a positive attitude. They always have someone cleaning nearby. So you don't have to worry about tables not being clean or garbage on the floor. Wrong order. They check twice with me to confirm but when I left open the box of course after I've left .. they gave me two protein style instead of one which is what I asked for. I've also asked for spread pack on my order and chili but when the guy gave me my order those weren't there either and I had to ask again and he's like ok I'll give it to you if it's not already in there. No. It's not in there . Order is also wrong . I asked for ketchup too and then he gave me spread pack & chili and waited for me to leave and then I asked ketchup again . The only thing in the box was napkins. I mean after working all day tired you'd just want to stop by without thinking much and order fast food but this is too much repetitive reminders and still get the wrong order when I already left which is extremely off putting to even come back. Wait was 1 hour on a week night .. Opening the box is always a surprise adventure. Next time I'll just opt for no lid and have cold food instead. Last time I was lied to when I asked for napkins and ketchup the woman said it's in there with upset face. Of course I find out when I've left that in fact there were none in there. On a Saturday afternoon in May, my family and I came here for lunch. It was a long drive from LA and we were getting testy with each other. It wasn't too busy at 11:20am. Inside, there was several tables free and one person sat there while we ordered the food. The line to pay was short -double cheeseburger and extra toast on bun and extra crispy on fries. Flying back to the Bay Area into SFO the other month, we were craving in n Out. The Millbrae location was a mess with the car line extending through the entire parking lot and out to the street. We made a quick U-Turn and headed to this Daly City location. There were only about 10 cars in line with the line moving relatively fast. Maybe it was because we were hungry and craving this since Millbrae but the food at this location was delicious! We ate it in the car in the parking lot and went back through the drive through a second time for more food. The employee taking orders at the line had just clocked out so we had to order at the drive through menu through the intercom. The drive through line is well-marked through the parking lot with a whole back row of spaces blocked off. It'd be nearly impossible to get in and out of those spaces with the drive through traffic. Although this is about a 10min drive from the Millbrae location, it's a good alternative if you don't want to sit through the long lines there. read more

When you're at a loss and don't know what to eat, there's always in-n-out! We've had consistently good burgers here, but like many other in-n-out burgers, there's a long drive thru line! So we opted to eat inside. They keep the tables clean and the wait for your burger isn't too long. Always satisfied with our food and prices have stayed reasonable. Bought a #1 set meal, a double double and a double meat animal style that came out to $23. Of course the prices have doubled, since in-n-out opened around here, but if you compare it to other fast food restaurants, it's still pretty inexpensive! What's not to like? Food is good, prices are good, and clean place to eat! Maybe the long lines can deter customers, but it goes pretty fast as they're pretty efficient. read more

My family spent spring break in SF & our first stop after the airport & the last one before boarding was at this specific In N Out! We had never experienced it previously & to say that we were blown away is an understatement. The employees were so friendly & efficient, with people working at a busy shop it was not a long wait during lunch hour. Loved the peppers. The fries were great, fresh and tasty. Milkshake=great. All of that said the burgers are why people keep coming back. We all got burgers & were knocked out. So fresh, so tasty! The double was amazing!! Definitely on my list of best burgers regardless of fast food or sit down restaurant. I got the double animal the 2nd visit & it was great. It is regular food but it is made well with superior ingredients. The employees make the experience fantastic & unique. People looked genuinely happy to be there whether they were working or dining. There were two cashiers ready to take orders so hardly any wait time. My cashier was friendly, knowledgeable and repeated my order to confirm. It was very busy with many guests waiting for orders but as I sat and observed, the entire crew behind the counter and cook stations were engaged and busy - I saw no one standing around. The young lady calling out the pick up numbers enunciated clearly so there was no mistake what number was called. She was very personable, and Chen I made eye contact with her, she held my glaze and returned a smile. I like that! On the way out I had food in both hands, another young worker held the door open for me! I noticed she snd another worker kept the area swept and free of debris on the floor! Not only is this one of my favorite places to eat, but it's also one of the places I would consider safe for my daughter who has allergies to gluten, dairy, eggs and a list of other things. When you order, mention your allergies and they will annotate it on your order. If you can't have the bun because of a gluten/egg allergy, you can get a lettuce wrap or a tomato bun. Egg allergies also means no spread sauce. I think they have a separate cooktop for burger patties with a dairy allergy so it stays separate from the burgers with cheese. As far as In-N-Outs go, this is pretty typical...so a great value and delicious! The drive-thru line was much slower on the night we went than every other one I've been to. Also, the parking lot is a total disaster with the drive through line weaving through it and blocking the parking of almost all of the spots. It's insane! read more

In-N-Outs all have great taste, as we know. But I do like this location slightly more than the Daly City location in vicinity due to its shorter line. I walked right in (granted it was a weekday at lunch), and had no line. I got my large order of 4 burgers and fries within 10 mins! Not bad. The drive-thru line was long when I arrived, but had dwindled down when I left. Amazing. It's also conveniently located in the Serramonte plaza, so close to the mall if you need to run errands too! If you haven't tried light well done fries and lemon-up (pink lemonade mixed with sprite), you're missing out!!! A lot of people don't really like in n out fries because they're kinda soggy. Well.. light well done fries might change your mind. It's perfect light and slightly crispy while still being able to taste the potato flavors. Ever since, I've never been able to go back to regular in n out fries. :') Employees here are really nice. They even offer to throw away your tray of trash when you're done.
