I went in for two frostys, a simple order. Drive thru was busy so I thought we'd go inside. Little did I know the inside was a nightmare. People everywhere, nobody's getting food, at least 7-9 employees. I don't even know if people are waiting to give their order or waiting for food. I learn it's mostly door dash, then I learn they won't be taking any orders until their caught up with door dashers. What?? I downloaded the app just to see which one may be quicker. The lady standing up in front of me is not happy, she's been waiting over 20 minutes to put in an order, they won't accept any. Wow! Maybe they need things a little more streamlined, maybe it's management, maybe it's just too many orders all at once.....but to not take the order of someone right in front of you for 20 minutes+ is absolutely outrageous. The live person in your actual restaurant deserves to be taken care of first and foremost. Anyone that can't get up and come get their own food just has to wait until they get to it. This whole ordeal was terrible. I had to apologize to the woman in front of me because I got my order before she was able to give hers. She was still waiting when I left. I asked her if I could order for her from the app she said her daughter is trying the drive thru to see if she can get an order in for themselves, however she appreciated the thought. That was ridiculous to not allow any orders from customers in the store.....I won't be going back. I went to Wendy's in Spanaway. I was in drive thru there was a few cars ahead of me, which it was like 5:30pm. I waited in the drive thru and the person running the drive thru took 3 orders from side of drive thru totally ignoring the side I was on. I waited for about 5 minutes while Merinda waited on 3 cars from the other lane. She finally came on asking if I had been helped. I told her NO, probably not my finest moment. I kind of snapped at her when I finally got to the windows, again not my finest moment. But the more I thought about the service, I realized that she was really trying to do her job (the only 1 working drive thru) and it was dinner time. I feel bad for acting the way I did. Watch out! If your order has been taken by Patricia, watch out. I hate calling out anyone specific, but after having to contact the store on several different occasions only after having order issues with the host named on the recipe as Patricia, something has to be said. Usually I get something different than I ordered. And the order is usually hard to get in in the first place because she will talk over me as I'm trying to order, although this has become less of an issue in the past two months. There have been occasions where I didn't get the sandwich/burger that was part of the meal deal I ordered, usually I don't get the sauce I order. Today was a new level. I ordered a large biggy bag w/honey mustard and a dr pepper. Was told it would be $8.06. I get back to work, and find I have two sandwiches I didn't order, no sauce, no fries, and was charged $12.43. Apparently I need to hold her hand through the entire process. I have had so many bad experiences with just this one server, that I do not believe she should be working a high pace, high stress position of the drive through window. I really hope she can do better, but I also keep being let down. For you as a customer of this location, just watch out, and double check everything thing, BEFORE you leave the window. The one good thing about this place is I can catch up on all 100 of my Instagram stories while sitting in the drive through. They are SLOOOOOOW and consistently so. Literally 20-30 minute wait, not even wrapped around the restaurant! There's one person in front of you at the order window and this happens. How is this okay? How does this qualify for "fast food"? I could only give them a 1 star, otherwise I would give them less. One of the WORST fast food restaurants I have ever had the unfortunate choice of visiting. The employee Leroy is one of the WORST employees I have ever had to deal with. First, I understand under Covid that everyone is short staffed, and dealing with the pressures of the economy. However, when you run out of BACON, and get UPSET because someone orders a sandwich with BACON...there is a problem. Instead of handling the problem with managerial skills, LEROY yelled at customers because his establishment ran out of the necessary ingredients to make meals that they offered. He refused to remedy the situation, refusing to refund or cancel orders. He honestly yelled at customers and complained that his GM didn't order bacon. Do not waste your time at this location. My large fries were half full, the line took twelve minutes to get through and customer service left a lot to be desired. I was handed my food and the woman quickly walked away without completing my order. After making eye contact with several employees and moments passed, the same woman asked me if I was missing something. Immediately handed me my beverage and the same employees that made eye contact had the audacity to laugh and ask under their breath why I wouldn't say anything. I remember the day when employees thanked me for stopping by when they gave me my food. ie "Thanks for stopping by, have a nice day" Not this place. Yesterday he reached out the window with my bag of food and said "HERE" that's it, just one word and went back to taking the next order. My order is almost always messed up here. Last week I ordered 2 baconators and got home and found 2 Dave's Doubles in my bag. There are lots of Vagrents in the Safeway parking lot the butts up against Wendy's. Once I saw a female employee get out of a car full of tweakers and head into the store to finish her shift So that's another issue if you don't use the drive through. 2 thumbs down for this place. I was here a busy night tonight, and the line was taking turns like normal. A DoorDash driver cut me off so I honked and said what the heck dude? He said he worked for DoorDash (mistake, already reported) and started cussing at me. I was on the phone with customer support reporting him. I had a mobile order. This shows every time they get busy these morons close the second drive-through lane because they aren't able to handle it. All it does is block the parking lot and take much longer for us to get our food.
