Great service and super friendly staff. They really went above and beyond for us!!! We stopped in right after the dining room had closed. We were traveling in our RV and could not do drive through. They hooked us up and let us order to.go from inside. read more

RUDE. I have patronized the Whiteville Wendy's for years, but I won't be back. The past couple of times I've gone to the drive-through the woman working the window has had a NASTY attitude. I let it slide the first time, but twice in a row is a pattern. After getting my order, like any SENSIBLE person I take a second to check it before driving off, especially when I know I'm at a SLOW restaurant if I have to come back through. I get my order and as I'm looking in the bag I suddenly hear from the window "ISS RIGHT! ISS MADE RIGHT!" yelled at me in a condescending, sarcastic tone, like she was personally offended that I'm verifying my order (which is wrong more often than not). NOPE. Not gonna talk to me like that. You keep your mouth shut when I'm checking my food. *I* verify it, not you. In today's economy where a burger and fry from a fast food joint costs well over $10, I'll spend my money where I'm not disrespected as a customer. The management at Whiteville Wendy's needs to hire better employees who are able to leave their ghetto attitude at home before more customers are run off from this once respectable business. read more

Where do I start? Dining room and bathroom are disgusting and it smells like a pound. I'm sure it gets worse where customers don't have access. After I used the bathroom I tried to order but 3 employees were standing up front just talking, laughing, on their phone and one shouted that the lobby was closed. I said, "Could you say that again I didn't hear you?" He said, "Lobby is closed there's no one to work up front." Lobby closed and no one to work the front??? Doors are unlocked with no sign that says the dining room is closed? No one to work the dining room but there's three employees laughing and hanging out. Lazy, dirty, poor customer service, smelly has just become the norm for your Business. This is by far the absolute worst Wendy's I've ever been too in my 44 yrs of life. I cannot say enough to explain how disgusted I was by this Wendy's on May 4th 2023 at 4pm. Thanks but no thanks Wendy's. The JV basketball team and I went to this Wendy's after a basketball game. It was about 7-8pm and we arrived. Once we got there and started to go in, the manager took us out and cursed out or coach (that we loved) for bringing us there. read more

Went here after getting lunch at BK because wife was craving a chocolate shake and shake machine @BK was down and wife wanted a chocolate frosty. Service was prompt and friendy and quick and chocolate frosty was good. This Wendy's just needs to fix the order screen in the drive thru, it doesn't work, looks like some ran into it with their car, so you cannot see the total and what you ordered read more

Not a bad place but I had to refill my cup 297483 times because the drink was either flat or it ran out while I was filling my cup up :(

This was a disappointing experience but we will give em another chance. Service was great food was dry and cooked too long. Salad was large in size and dressing packs too small. 3 would have done it good!!!! read more

Pretty darn good quick Wendy's. I just moved to the area and went here for lunch. They were fast and food was good. Restaurant was clean. Restrooms were clean. The food was the usual Wendy's fair, but the staff made it unusual due to their attentiveness. I would definitely recommend this Wendy's! read more

The lady at the window and the intercom was very rude. She kept yelling and getting mad because we couldn't hear her.

This was absolutely the best fast good dining experience we have ever had! This was a brand new Wendy's and that was cool but it was the people that made the experience so incredible. The young women at the register were so friendly and efficient. The people working were all friendly to each other and acted professionally. The manager and assistant manager were working and encouraging and instructing people. People came out into the dining room to check on us and people were constantly cleaning the place while we were there. The food was good as Wendy's food normally is. The food was not the big deal; it was the experience. We were traveling so we won't be able to go to this restaurant very much but I know where we will stop to eat next time we are in Whiteville, NC. read more

Simply one terrific people, great food, and the salads are terrific.Really great to seniors, easy in and out on the beach or the way back from the beach. Been eating their for a lot of years and i wonder why people would eat any where else. read more

Waited 23 mins for 5 burgers and 3 small fries! After 20 mins wait I asked for my money back since it was obvious this place didnt have a clue what was going on. My request was ignored by the manager. The manager was in no hurry and certainly not putting any pressure on employees to hurry it up. It seemed like everything they were doing was in slow motion and they were blind to the customers presence in line. In the 23mins we waited for our food only one other order was placed by a family in line behind us. They were still waiting when we left. Also, during that time span one worker was taking a break at a table next to the line watching all of us waiting without taking the iniative to clock back in and help out. Instead he stared at everyone in line like he wanted to kill them, big fella with dreadlocks down to his butt and sleeves rolled up with tats up and down his arms. Looked like an ex con serial killer. During the wait time it was plain to see why no one local really eats here, the place is run down.. the dining area had dirty floors and walls with rotting baseboards, mold and grease on the walls going a foot up the walls in some areas. The kitchen area had napkins and buns scattered around the work area. Each employee was unkempt and dirty, all with bad attitudes moving in extreme lazy slow motion. Not a care in the world. I do not think any of these employees will ever progress working anywhere beyond fast food, in fact they are not even worthy of their current job. When my request for a refund was ignored finally our food came out several minutes afterward otherwise I was prepared to make a huge scene , so were the others behind us in line as they were equally frustrated at this point. When my food was handed to me, there was no thank you , no sorries or apologies at all or explanation... just served up with a smug attitude and uncaring. Got the burgers to the car to see that NONE of them had onions. Went back in to get some and they said they ran out of onions. Unbelievable a burger joint ran out of onions, thats the icing on the cake. Two of the burgers had wet, I mean really wet buns. I dreaded eating it not knowing why or what it was wet from... but I was starved so I went ahead and ate. Needless to say two of us have diarhea this morning. This store also does not believe in equal oppurtunity employment. Every single employee in the store 6 or 7 of them were african americans. I guess this gives them the right to run the store their way catering to each other, taking their time, taking extended breaks, not keeping up personal appearance or hygeine, not cleaning up and not ordering stock such as onions. In other words no order or system of checks and balances. This stores employees caters to themselves not the customer. I cant help but think that the service toward everyone in line was directed toward us as a racist act since everyone in line was white. It truly seemed intentional, especially considering the attitude we got with no update on what was going on with our order, no apologies or thanks. This store needs a change of management and employees with some diversity in race or color, it also needs to be fumigated and restored, either that or burn it to the friggin ground!!! read more
