I have been giving them chance after chance to change, but at this point, I'm over it. For the past few months the service has been getting slower and slower, even when the place is empty it still takes forever to get my food. At one point I was sitting at the window waiting for my food for a half hour! They handed me my drink when I first pulled up, so the ice in my drink was half melted by the time I left. The screen to order at has been broken for who knows how long, and the inside of the place is disgusting. I wasn't going to complain until what happened today. I got a taco salad and they didn't put the meat in my bag. I didn't realize this until I got home, so I went to call them. Called them three separate times, let the phone ring all the way... nothing. I just went to Wendy's on Carlisle Rd. (Delco Plaza) in York, PA. The customer service was lacking. The clerk did not welcome me or even ask to take my order, she just stood there. The tables were all dirty and the trash cans were overflowing. The floor was sticky. Another customer said the soda machine was disgusting. Was inside this dirty dump on Saturday, May 10,2025 at 4:05 p.m. Girl told me that their system was down and they would not be taking any more orders for the rest of that day. Front door was not locked. Employees were extremely angry at me for walking in. Then I asked if I could have the corporate phone number for Wendy's. Girl replied,"that's none of your business." The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the food/drinks have been fine. Otherwise, the service is despicable. Just like what some other people have said on here, the service is ridiculously slow. I don't generally go to Wendy's for dinner, it's always a treat or a snack. It may be 7, 8, or even 9pm. Some fries maybe, or a frosty or some drinks for the kids. Doesn't matter what time though, I have waited 15-20 minutes on multiple occasions but I am officially done with this location. The frosty was excellent that's about the only thing positive I can say. The bacon cheeseburger was way undercooked, as in pink. The drive through was packed. The Atmosphere in this wendy's tonight was truly something else. The music made me feel like I was playing fallout, and the employee was quite possibly cracked out. A gentleman had been waiting for his food for over an hour and an entire family was waiting to order due to a system malfunction when I first walked in, and when the cracked out employee fixed the register he refused to help the family that had been waiting and kept asking me what I wanted. I stopped by this Wendy's location last night and ordered a burger and fries asking them for NO tomatoes, lettuce and onions. I received the opposite. The evening manager was kind and told me to come in the next day for a replacement meal. He was very apologetic. The following day (today) I went in for my correct meal, got home and it still was not correct. I called in, asked for the manager. As I told her about the night before and today's mess up, the tone in her voice changed and I received nothing but attitude from this woman. She continued to lie to me saying she watched them make the correct order, as I had my food in front of me. She was very unprofessional. I'll be calling corporate to complain. I'm a rock, metal, classic rock, oldies, tear jerk and CLASSIC country type person. New country pretty much sucks. And yet, I bet management claims their times aren't too bad, since they take one customer's order, then leave everybody else to wait until that one order is filled, then take the next. Watch out this location has been warned several times for letting the cashier who is touching filthy money all day drag the drink cups through the ice bin with there bare hands. For those of you are are not aware this is a major food born illness cause. The health code states that a scoop must be used and must hang out side the ice chest when not in use. These cashiers are always cutting corners by grabbing the cups with there hands and in goes all the filth on to the ice to be drank by the next customer. After complaining to Chris the Manager and the corporate office twice I caught them 2 more times in the same week once while Chris was working!. I simply stopped ordering drinks but the funniest part of all is instead of doing the right thing the staff simply warned each other when they see me in line which tells me they are not bothering with following the rule any other time. I went through the drive through last week and they messed up my order. I had to pull over and wait for the order and it was incomplete it was missing the soda from my meal. My chicken sandwich was so carelessly made that it had a piece of wax paper in it. I was so disgusted I threw out the entire meal. I called and asked for a manager. A girl that sounded like a baby hood rat got on the phone and informed me that she would only replace the sandwich and the soda. I guess they think that it was my fault that I was disgusted by their poor preparation of my food and threw the rest out. I went in to the restaurant this afternoon and let them know that I was completely unsatisfied with their service and how they offered to fix the problem and they didn't care.
