Dr…read more DesJardins was wonderful in administering the epidural and asked extremely relevant questions that my doctor did not in my initial appointment. These questions even lead me to finding out diseases in my family that may impact me. However, I followed up through my chart with this information and asking for next steps and it was brushed off by an assistant who replied with a generic message saying they would discuss this and other referrals if needed in my follow up (it was not documented by anyone or brought up in my follow up until I mentioned it when the conversation was closing). The injections did help relieve some of my pain and inflammation, but I still experienced some symptoms which I documented to discuss in my follow up with Taylor Durbin. However, a patient taking attention to details and discussing their symptoms in their follow up must not be appropriate considering my doctor and several other employees felt it was acceptable to discuss that amongst each other outside of the room as a complaint. Not only does this make a patient feel as if the one thing they came there for is not valued by their doctor, but also dips into territory of a HIPPA violation for discussing a patient's confidential information to staff without a "need to know" status. Additionally, I read my MRI and had questions regarding the comments and felt rude just asking to discuss those comments so I could better understand them. I think there are some great employees here, but there are also employees who let you feel like a number in the system and not someone who is spending hundreds or thousands of dollars hoping to find an answer to chronic pain.

Bryan Berman became my dad's doctor when my dad was hospitalized earlier this year. This was my first time meeting him. I had been to this location a few weeks ago for my dad to get a pre office visit blood test as he takes medication for high blood pressure. The office associates where friendly & professional on both occassions with their friendly greeting and simple check-in process. After confirming who you are they have you sign-in on an electronic screen on the counter. We arrived just in time for the appointment and the wait was only 5 minutes to be called back. The usual weigh-in was done on the way to the examine room. We waited in there for a little more than 5 minutes before Doctor Berman came into the room. He was friendly, organized and professional. After greeting us he reviewed my dad's medical history getting the updated information on his current situation. My dad's chronic back pain over the past 2 years was the main discussion. It resulted from a household fall. Doctor Berman suggested a limited and promising 2 drug treatment after confirming the frequency and symptom history. I really hope this works! Went to this office when it first opened in the morning was 6th inline. So we took our seat and…read morewaited. 10 more people came after us. Everybody in front us gets called back so I think we're next nope. I keep see everybody else get called question them to make sure we weren't missed. Tells me we should be next. So sit back down 2 more people get called. By this time there's my son and one other younger lady that walks in she tells the lady see has a UTI. They call the next patient back guess what it's the lady not my son. I'm pissed by this time and ask to talk to the manger. They tell me he's not there. They give me a number to call. It's a number to women it doesn't even work for St Elizabeth. They then proceed to call another person back. At this time I demand to see a office manger. They then try to tell they took the other patients before us because they had chest pain. I was like they last 15 patients had chest pain. They straight lied to my face. I've been to the doctor with chest pain and they don't let you sit in the waiting area for hour before being seen. They check you vitals right away and see if need to call a ambulance. Plus this is a urgent care not a emergency room. Then it hits me my son is the only black patient. I a white mom so at first I didn't realize what was happening. By this point I'm crying because I just realize what has happened to my child.

But here it is in all its glory! :)…read more As soon as I walked in, someone in the lobby asked if I was going to OrthoCincy or St. Elizabeth. After notifying them of my intentions, I was directed to the elevators to go to the 2nd floor. The signs said only one person in the elevator at a time so I'm hoping there's stairs around when things get backed up. Anyway I made my way upstairs and immediately got in a well-social distanced queue to check in. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and then directed me to the waiting room, making sure that I only sat in a chair that did not have a piece of paper on it. I was soon brought back and my nurse was very friendly. The creme of the crop was Dr. Vickie Chan. She was so friendly, so professional, and so understanding of everything. It's always hard to find a new primary care physician when you're new somewhere and especially if you don't know how long you'll be staying in the area. She was great and efficient and I could immediately tell that I had an ally in my healthcare endeavors. So, St. Elizabeth corporate...if you're listening I highly recommend you commend Dr. Chan! I was able to go next door for blood work and get out very quickly. Overall a great place and from this one experience I would recommend St. Elizabeth Physicians to anyone in the area. Try to get Dr. Chan if you can!
