Walter and his team were true professionals. I had an existing deck in my backyard that was rotting and unstable (during demo I realized it was very poorly supported). I hired Walter and his team to install a new deck with railing, stairs, and a shade wall. I decided to handle the demo myself and let him start from scratch with all new supports. I also wanted to use a specific hardwood (ipe) so I sourced the decking myself. Walter purchased and transported all framing materials. It was Walter's first time working with ipe, but him and his team did an excellent job. Ipe is an extremely hard and heavy wood so it was pretty time consuming and challenging to install, but it turned out beautiful. Walter is a man of integrity and he does quality work. We can't say enough good things about Wensan. From the initial consultation and estimate to the final goodbye...Anna, Walter, and the crew were fantastic. Excellent Communication: Anna was available in the weeks leading up to our project to answer all our questions about the timeline, materials, etc. and responses were always prompt. During our project, Walter had the same responsiveness. It was reassuring to know our contractor was just a text away. Highly Professional The preparation for our project was organized, the room was properly sealed to prevent debris from spreading, the crew were clean and wore the necessary PPE. They were friendly and respectful of us, our home, and our belongings. They hauled away all debris on an ongoing basis so it never built up and did a thorough job cleaning up on the final day. Punctual They were on time every morning and stayed each day until their task list was complete. We added additional work to our contact in the middle of the renovation (to remove crown molding) which should have added two additional days to the timeline and they STILL managed to finish the entire project a full day ahead of schedule. Meticulous Their attention to detail exceeded expectations and Walter came up with creative solutions to make our design choices feasible. For example, we demolished an upper wall leaving a lower half wall to support new countertops. I hadn't considered then that the upper cabinets wouldn't line up with the new lower counters. Walter fabricated three entirely new open shelves to match both halves and continued the upper cabinet molding to make the whole thing seamless. I haven't actually had Wenson perform work on my house, yet. I really want to have them here to build a new shower for me and do some work in my living room, but, I've unfortunately been plagued with some dilemmas, like dealing with water leaks, and a surprise back injury. I felt it only Fair to leave them a review because despite the fact that I haven't committed to having work done, they continually communicate with me and have sent Walter to my house to do estimates several times. Walter, Ana, and their crew did an awesome job on our kitchen! We have a very old home in Long Beach, and we wanted to upgrade mainly one wall of our kitchen with a new sink, cabinets, countertop, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. We ended up also having our old cabinets in the rest of the kitchen painted as well. It wasn't a full kitchen remodel, but Walter and his crew made our kitchen look and feel brand new! They were always on time, talked us through the process, and gave us advice on materials. Ana was so helpful through email to keep all the design decisions and budget in order. Wensan remodeled our bathroom. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work and assurance. They estimated three weeks but were finished in two weeks and one day. The job was a full remodel plus some plumbing repair. They showed up early every day and cleaned up after every shift. Walter explained what was done and what was expected to be done at the end of the day each day. They answered all my phone calls and were easy to contact and communicate with. They answered all my questions thoroughly and offered great suggestions. Both guys were very courteous and very patient with us. I would definitely use them for future projects.
