Andrew was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. We communicated via text message and phone. He allowed me to secure the room via partial online credit card payment and I paid the full balance the same way. He provided solid recommendations for local food services that would deliver as well. After the conclusion of our event, Andrew called to check in and ensure that everything went as planned. He was very receptive to some improvement suggestions as well. I know the environment here is fairly humid, but it's possible to keep a bathroom mold-free anyway, and ours wasn't. The sink's drain couldn't keep up; that's relatively easy to fix. So I'm at 4 stars instead of 5. The bed was comfortable enough, but I chose the wrong pillow - didn't realize until morning that the two were different. I chose "bean bag", and should have chosen "firm" (I'm a side sleeper). It's not the hotel's fault that the folks across the hall got in after midnight and spent a fair amount of time loudly going in and out, but I do wish the doors stopped sound better. Would we stay again? Yes - hoping they'll see this review and redouble efforts to keep the bathrooms clean and the drains draining.

We checked in to our first floor room for 3 nights inJuly 2025, a double queen room. Be aware that the beds are NOT queen-sized. When we opened the door, the stench was overwhelming - mold, mildew, or whatever . The smell got worse when we turned the AC on. We immediately returned to the front desk to speak to Kenzie who had checked us in. She said there wasn't another room for us even as she was checking others in. We told her that the room's air was unhealthy. We left to have dinner with relatives, returned around 9 pm, and was told again by a different clerk there was nothing they would do. We reserved a room at another hotel, packed the car, and left. The clerk told us on the way out that our points for the stay would be refunded. We stopped by the next morning to tell the manager about the problem and she assured us our points would be refunded. They never refunded our points. There are other signs this property is not being properly maintained and is not up to "Holiday Inn Select" standards. The swimming pool is closed with a sign stating it's closed for "maintenance." The pool was also closed in July 2024. No one wishing to stay in Ponca City should choose this hotel.

There's a bar and you can chose what you'd like provided for your guests. The restrooms were clean and would accommodate a crowd. The huge barn doors open so you can move the party outside at anytime. They are equipped to provide music that can be heard from anywhere in the venue. The photo opportunities are countless. Plenty of parking. A brides room for getting ready with large mirrors and vanity as well as a grooms room for the guys to hang. Definitely will plan an event here again! They make you feel like family. The owners were very accommodating. Dale and Virginia will make your experience unforgettable. Their customer service is impeccable. Amazing teacher and we love her so much! Sadly, she left to go pursue an amazing opportunity in Montana (and we wish her all the best). In her place, they quickly hired Kyla, who is the teacher there now. Kyla didn't just throw my kid on a horse - she took the time to sit down with my child and get to know her, her goals, and her skill level. While we were sad to see Laine go and were worried about the transition to a new teacher, it hasn't been a problem! Mark and Kelly have made an amazing program for kids to learn to ride, as well as offering tours, trail rides, and events in their gorgeous new barn. They had an event for The Cottage which was nothing short of magical and really showcased the space to its fullest. I cannot recommend this business enough - absolutely amazing staff and location. We love coming here - it feels like a second home now.

The main B&B house has three or four rooms, and each one is decorated with a different theme. My room (The Barnyard) is decorated with barn animals, and had an upstairs area. Upstairs was where you could find two twin beds, a reading nook, a baby crib, and a little lantern. This room would be so fun for a family to stay in, and it's very comfy. I got to peek at the other rooms, and each one is better than the last. One of the rooms (The Railroad) has trains in it! And if you want a really unique stay, ask for the Barn Owl Treehouse, which is literally a treehouse that you can stay in. Because this is a bed and breakfast, we got breakfast in the morning. It was delicious and homemade! They made sure to ask if there were any food allergies the night before, then they created a wonderful breakfast spread in the morning, which included apple tartlets, omelets, sausage patties, and lots of freshly brewed coffee. There was also cold cereal and a hot chocolate bar, too. Timber Creek is a big property, and you're welcome to explore. There are several walking paths -- some that lead to gardens and statues and other interesting sights around the grounds. You'll also come across Leo, at some point. He's the resident dog, and he loves to play fetch!

You'll find car tires and concrete in the low flowing creek. You might even catch a draft of El Tapatio's dumpster along the paved trail. But still, the pool is clean, big, and full of fun options, the trail bends along the creek and has little wandering trails that lead off, and that playground is pretty sweet (I'd be pretty happy with that as a kid...or even now). Couch Park, I give you three stars; you are A-OK.
