For the past 2-3 years it has been à la carte. U would think the same older females at the front desk would know my name by now...not even the dr. I have referred friends/family here. I see they know other patients' names when they arrive. Hmmm. Maybe it's due to me having basic work done(cleanings) and not here for bridges, canals, braces...basically not a money maker. The dental assistants have changed and not for the better. 1 wants to lecture me on my teeth, brushing habits and the other can't pronounce my name and blames it on her ethnicity, huh? The dentist comes in for a minute and doesn't seem friendly or concerned that I was even there. Those are valid reasons to move on then to continue to patronize this place. My dentist told me it should cost about $1,600 for everything after I insurance. Once at this center while in extreme pain from my tooth this place told me it would be more like closer to $3k!!! I said OMG thats double was what my dentist told me but I said fine with a down payment of $1885! So they do the surgery that took all of 20 mins and sent me on my way in even more pain but with a bunch of meds that helped a lot but I'm still in pain today and this was over 6 months ago. So about a couples weeks after the surgery I get a notice of a bill for almost 2K!!!! And I said oh now this has to be wrong and was told no its correct my total bill was just under 4k! I said no I was told it would be under 3k total for everything and that was before what the insurance took out and they responded and called me a liar and stated they told me the ESTIMATED cost would be $3771.41!!! So you telling me you told me before you even looked at my tooth that the total would be $3771.41 thats really amazing that you had that number down to the cents! Wow! This is false!!! And not they are holding my tooth hostage so I can't get my crown and also I'm still in pain and they won't do anything to help until I pay the balance! GO SOME WHERE ELSE GUYS PLEASE AND GET YOU ESTIMATE IN WRITING!!!

I wanted a crown replaced that lingered for months with my old dentist's office due to a variety of inefficiencies. I called to schedule an appointment and was able to get in quickly. I knew to arrive early to complete new patient paperwork. Staff was pleasant and courteous. I was seen promptly and on time. The dental chair side assistant was efficient, and made sure Dr Babajoni had all the X-rays I'd emailed prior to my visit for his review. Incidentally, the exam room was clean, brightly lit, well equipped. He wanted new x-rays for comparison, at no charge to me. He was able to determine what was medically necessary and what needed to be done. He was efficient and thorough in his explanation. Dr had time in his schedule and was able to get started if I wanted to move forward. I'd waited long enough, and went ahead and started the crown replacement. The insurance had been verified and I knew what I was financially responsible for that day. It took about an hour to do what was necessary and I was able to leave with a temporary crown that looks like a real tooth. The permanent one SB ready in 2 weeks. I was very impressed with Dr Babajoni! It is a busy practice, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and kept things moving efficiently without wasting anyone's time. When I asked the staff she was very nasty and said talk to front desk. I talk to front desk clerk ans she apologized and said she can call me when they can see me. I left Bs was called at 230pm to return to office. When I finally was seen it was the a "specialist " so I could not even get the tooth extracted that I was suppose to get done with my care plan. No apology given and doctor didn't even return to talk to me. I was told I need to go to a different office in oaklawn and maybe a specialist is there. He performed a root canal and installed a crown - finally - no sensitivity/pain! The procedure was also painless and done in flawless, extremely professional manner.
