There were a couple rips in the material, the taping on the seams between sheets zigzagged; and this is on the factory cut edge that's perfectly straight. They used the spray foam to adhere the tarp to the cinderblocks. Some spots have huge spray foam globs that sank and pushed the material out creating air gaps. The only way that can happen is there is a critical shortage of fasteners holding the material up, I've seen less than 10 on the whole job so far. There are spots where the spray foam looks like melted cheese, its disgusting. The entire area has a layer of dirt and hundreds of spray foam turds along the walls. The two 'doors' they put on for $1000 were 2x4 and pvc board with 2 screws, absolutely unacceptable. When I called to talk to the crew they said they had swept out the area, I laughed and hung up on those liars. There is numerous work material trash left under there including a 2 tank spray foam setup. They also spray foamed 2 interior walls that were not part of the work plan and didn't need it. I had the supervisor come out to take a look and he pointed out more things wrong and said this needed to get made right. Guess someone forgot to write something down because when the next crew came to make repairs, they didn't have the materials they needed cause it wasn't written on the work service order thing. It's a month later and I still haven't received any before or after photos from them of their work but boy am I glad I went down there and took my own. I know it can be grueling work, but for something that is supposed to bring peace of mind about your home, this has been a nightmare. If you need go with anyone else

tl;dr - was a sh*tshow working with this company, fighting amongst themselves like school kids and…read moreat one point potentially putting my family in danger, then ignoring my concerns about the danger. Would not recommend using this company. Using this company was an adventure I would not wish upon anyone. It started in July, 2025 when we reached out and ultimately received a quote to have a ventless gas log fireplace installed and repair work to the chimney. In September my wife and I moved forward with this company, scheduled to start on 10/30/25. On that morning I received an email they had the wrong items for the install and would need to reschedule. Work was rescheduled for 11/12/25. On 11/12, two workers arrived close to noon, despite a scheduled arrival time of 0800-0830. The ventless fireplace was installed that day. However, no work was done on the chimney itself, in part because these two workers stated the work they believed was needed was significantly more than what they were told based on the quote we had been given. They gave several options on what they believed would be necessary, including taking the chimney down at the roof line. On 11/13/25 I reached out to the company informing them of the interaction of the previous day. I also asked for an itemized quote, separating the masonry work from the ventless fireplace installation, which I never received. I was told that Jim, the employee who gave the initial estimate, was out until 11/21. On 11/21, Jim came out. Long story short, he stood by his original assessment of the masonry work needed on the chimney. However, he went on to disparage his fellow employees, stating they didn't know what they were talking about, how dare they disagree with his quote, he's the expert with X years of experience, etc. It was like listening to a junior high kid talking about a rival. Complete lack of professionalism. So, we are moving forward with the same work as initially planned, just delayed. Now to have that work rescheduled. On 12/5/25, we reached out to the company to followup on when the work might be completed. We were told winter weather made the outdoor work impossible. While understandable, our house was losing heat as the chimney was open. Having the chimney capped was part of the expected work. Alternatively, they offered to install a flue inside to control loss of heat. Eventually, on 1/8/26, they came out and capped the chimney. However, after the workers left, one of them called my wife to admit that he noticed the ventless gas fireplace was improperly installed and should not be used, as the wrong logs had been used and due to the improper fit had the potential to release dangerous fumes into the house. He seemed surprised that whoever installed it was not aware of the error, as the logs fit in a specific manner. I was also surprised to hear this, as there had already been a delay due to the wrong item/parts being ordered by the company. After having the wrong parts once, wouldn't they be doubly sure. Company was contacted and an email was sent on 1/15/26 stating among other things reiterating concerns about the safety issues of this error. However, those concerns were ignored, as in they were never addressed in any response from the company. Kudos to that employee though for having the integrity to call my wife and notify us of the potential danger. On 1/16/26, a worker came out and replaced the logs of the ventless fireplace. Once the weather warmed, the chimney work was completed on 5/1/26. Once I had an accurate invoice I promptly made payment, while also notifying I would be submitting honest reviews relaying my experience with this company's scheduling issues, lack of professionalism, and the dangerous installation. In response, I did receive an email saying they were available via phone call on 5/4/26 to discuss the job issues. However, I was preparing for a work trip, and saw no reason to talk about these issues now, when they were largely ignored by them throughout the process.

Nothing we talked about was laid out in print (my error) and the foreman had no info (e.g. channel drain, new slope, layout/expansion, patio add on). If I was not working from home 3 days in a row to direct constantly I'm not sure what I would have got other than a direct remove and replace of current drive. We got through that, and didn't hold it against them in the big picture. However, I then ended up with cracks in few places a month later that should have had saw cuts. Cory came out and looked and said he'd come back to cut. Texted him and called to no avail. Sealer also peeled in many places Generally also a mess as far as job site (tools left to trip over, lunch trash, over excavated form space). They did not leave any soil or backfill forms and it took me better part of summer to get that repaired. I had a man hole in my driveway and that was covered in cement. I used a sledge hammer to break it off. There was also variations in texture and color. Winter 2021/2022 - Now my driveway started pitting and spalling the top layer of cement in different places. New front porch has separated. Winter has caused cracking across multiple slabs. Seems like the 'fiber in the mix' and sealer has not helped. Poor quality job. Neighbor across the street had her's done in Sept. 2021 and has 5 or 6 major cracks she claims.
