The machines do a clean cycle between everyone's wash. First visit your soap with nontoxic fragrance, free detergent and the dryer are free. I haven't been to a laundromat in decades, but I blew it washing a large comforter at the home washing machine. So walked in with a soaking wet, heavy comforter. She led me to the right machine which even had a comforter setting! I wish I'd taken a photo of the folding tables -- so clean! -- and also the "cafe-like" setting kind of upstairs . . .

They know about different fabrics that have newer finishes on them. They were very careful and thorough, processing the dress through several times to get it just right. They even called to extend the service for one day so they could take their time. Both people who were at the counter were upbeat and friendly. It was $11 to do a quick wash on washer C60, which seems pricey to me but it was a pretty huge machine. I put 4 quarters in the dryer and that got me 28 min but it was pretty much dry after 15 min. So the dryer seemed like a great deal. No public restroom, which is typical of laundromats, since our country despises people who are poor and struggling, as well as older, incontinent people. If you have time to kill, there are places to check out nearby like Coastal, Club Thrift and Harbor Freight.

I did our laundry fully clothed beside a very friendly self proclaimed meth addict who was sorting thru his drugs and chatting gaily. I also brushed elbows with a seemingly nice chap who did not wash his clothes but unpacked a damp backpack to dry his items in the dryer. And sort thru his stuff. He shared that he was informally camping for the past few months. A man staggered in at some point to mumble and inquire about change. He was not interested in any laundering. No sink and no access to water. No tv. One trash can. No restroom. No attendant. Nice music. We wanted to try this place after discovering it on a walk but won't return.

Someone yells,"someone will be right with you," yet no one is ever RIGHT with me. They are slow. Making me the customer, feel unimportant. Next, I've never experienced a dry cleaner who has such a hard time keeping my laundry together. They've lost numerous items of mine. It got so bad they had replace a few items. When this happens they acted like it was my fault. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. In reality, I am not seeking them to replace the items, I want MY items back. They just don't seem to understand that. They do a very good job at making you feel like it's your fault and not theirs. And finally, I want to address the fact that when I get my clothes back from this dry cleaner, they stink. I know I'm not the only one to experience this. It got so bad that I had to switch dry cleaners. Obviously, I wasn't aware of all these things until I experience it myself. Overall, a terrible experience. They never have a legitimate manager available. And when you do ask for someone who has a brain on their head, you'll never find one. .
