I was updated on their progress and their test drives to make sure the leak was fixed. One thing that was disappointing was when I arrived to pick up the bike it was not all back together. The seat and backrest were not installed and I had to wait for them to to get it ready. Overall the price was very high but not do to Wayne, but the uncooperative local Harley Stealer who holds up & robs independent shops on parts sales. Screw the Harley Stealers and support your local bike shop.

Very expensive. I had bike in for new tires and to trouble shoot an electrical short. They could…read morenot find the short. 5 months later I put bike in different shop(Haus of Trikes) for electrical short. They easily found it and fixed it. They also noticed front fork seals were bad. Pirate cycles either completely missed front fork seals leaking when they changed the front tire or they caused it and did not want to have to cover a free repair due to their negligence. When Haus of Trikes finished their work, they test rode bike and heard rear axle bearings grinding. When they took it apart to find out why...they noticed the rear axle spacer was missing. Cycle Pirates refused to acknowledge their mistake which could have killed me and refused any sort of reimbursement for their error. They say they only have 30 day warranty on their repairs. A rear spacer doesn't just vanish. I would avoid this shop at all costs...they seem to me to be incompetent. When I picked up my bike from Haus of Trikes, I was told they just had another customer in and were fixing mistakes made at Pirate Cycles.

My step son Steven recently used this business for a motorcycle repair. The issue was electrical and the motorcycle would not start. He was told that there would be a $90 diagnostic fee which could be applied to the repair if he chose to have the shop repair it. He received a call from them stating that the battery was dead and needed to be replaced in order to do the diagnostics. The diagnostic was done and nothing was wrong with the bike with the exception of a dead battery. He was charged $110 for the battery (retails for for less than $50) and $90 to install which takes about 5 minutes to do. I tried calling the owner Fernando de Moya to ask him to be more reasonable on the total. He refused. When Steven went to pick up his bike he was verbally accosted by Fernando because I called to question his billing. As far as I can tell the $90 diagnostic fee was not backed off of the invoice. No detailed receipt was given. In my opinion this business took advantage of a young adult.

When you are about to buy in SUN SPORT MOTORCYCLE in Fort Maye everybody is showing their teeths, but when you are calling for example like me for my first service you will notice that no one its gonna try to help you .. When i get my new bike .. they told me that " when WE got the new motorcycles , WE ( as them) have to assembly in their facility. so you loose your credit right away there. Of course ,you'll said , well is coming from factory shouldnt be a problem , but when i get home the first day i noticed got some screw missing.. and side logo too .. i called and no one is interested in helping me at all.. today after 45 days no one want to fix that for me.. 3 hours to make my first service and guess what .. you have to pay those three hours.. You'll see when they give you a number , it will be soooo diferent at the time to pay. ( thats i promess you ). IN MY CASE IN THE PAPPER WORK SAID Us$ 171 but ghess what .. they made a 3 hours a service and it was just an OIL CHANGE , and tire pressure and ?? nothing else.. I saw a list think they were doing but o notice nothing of that was made.. Funny right? well i end it up paying 280 So .. My final tought is : if you want to buy something there..
