I called the dealership on a Monday, and even though they are closed on Mondays, Orlando (salesman) answered the phone and was willing to work out a deal right then and there over the phone! My wife and I drove down from Clearwater to pick the bike up on that following Wednesday! Stay away! They did a full service and installed a kickstand extender on my Harley. They installed it backwards and refused to acknowledge their mistake. Certainly not a place I would ever go to again. Not standing by a 70 dollar mistake tells me they can't be trusted around a 20k bike. Go somewhere else. It will be worth it. read more

This is the Worst repair shop that I have ever been to. DO NOT USE SOUTHWEST CYCLES charged me 900 dollars for carb work and the bike didn't seem right. I took the bike back and the y said it was bad gas . 170 later and the bike still runs like crap. I took it to another shop and they said the carb a totally out of adjustment and all the seals and o rings need to replaced that's what SOUTHWEST CYCLES CHARGED me for the first time. DO NOT USE SOUTHWEST CYCLE.!!!! read more

Drove 3 hours to pick up 2018 Yamaha v star 250. Was told it was like new with 32 miles on it. Arrived and looked around the showroom at a couple bikes. Dave came out and showed me the V star. Nice looking from 5 feet and in pictures. Had corrosion on fins of heads, had been cleaned up well. Was told the story of a women that purchased and then got DUI and lost her license as to how they acquired. Asked to here it run. Started and it ran ruff, manual choke, so let it warm up a bit. The was a flat spot in throttle just above idle. Then Dave wheeled it into the shop to put gas in it. Asked arrogant mechanic about ruff idle and he said it had to really warm up. Upon closer inspection in the lights, saw seat was not attached and the one bolt that was hanging on right side had scratched a good amount of the paint off the frame, no bolt on other side. Thought someone would have looked bike over before I got there. Dave had to apply a lot of force down and forward to get the left hole to line up with frame to attach. Notice the license plate mount was bent as well. Not sure how seat and license frame got bent, some impact. I have owned 9 motorcycles, injected and carb, and never had to apply that kind of pressure to put seat on. Started bike to warm up and then Dave took it for a ride in the neighborhood and around the parking lot to warm up. Brought it back into shop and flicked the throttle a few times indicating it was good. Twisted throttle and it still had flat spot. Mechanic indicated it was fine and that they had had two of these bikes, so not sure about story behind bike. Bike was for 21 year old 5'2" daughter, so taking off from a dead start with a carb that need attention was not an option. Dave offered no conversation or adjustment for carb repair, just a take it or leave it attitude, so I left. Was so thankful I drove over and didn't have it shipped sight unseen! read more

I was looking for a pre-owned Triumph Speed Triple Motorcycle. I started my search using www.cycletrader.com and after finding what I wanted at a Dealer in Texas I sent an email to the Dealer only to be contacted and informed that the Bike I inquired about had Sold right at closing time the Night before. My search continued and then I found something even better, and it was located in my Home State of Florida, at Southwest Cycles. I found a '10 Triumph Speed Triple 15th Anniversary, Special Edition that looked as if it kept in a Museum! I didn't waste any time by emailing the Dealership but instead Called them. I Spoke with Orlando "Monk" and told him that I was very interested in the Bike and how I didn't want to waste any time and let it slip away. We made a Deal right then and there on the Phone. I asked for more information on the Bike and asked that they send me a Video featuring a cold Start and Walkaround. All my questions were promptly answered, and it didn't take long before I also had the Video I requested. The Pictures of the Bike were high Quality, and being an avid Photographer myself, I know how easy it is to make things look better than they do in Person. The Video I asked for was sent to me by a Salesman Named Gio, and the Video only confirmed the Bike was just as clean and detailed to perfection as the Pictures portrayed online. Gio also helped tremendously with the Sale and with future Phone Calls and Texts and working with my Transporter Service that I used to Ship the Bike to me. After the Sale and before the Bike was picked up by my Transporter, I did an online search about how many 15th Anniversary Special Edition Speed Triples were made, as I had no idea. As it turns out, there were only 255(!) of these Bikes Imported into the United States...and I just Bought one!! Once the Bike was Delivered to me and I had a chance to really look it over in person, I was astounded at this Bikes condition, and it immediately was placed inside my Man-Cave where it'll only come out on Pristine Days for an occasional Ride or be taken to local Bike Shows. Great Bike, great experience with Gio and Monk, and the entire process was quick and easy. 5 Star's to Southwest Cycles! read more

I will never take anything to this shop again. I'm not going to get into great detail other than Steve the owner needs to change a few words in his vocabulary and should have taken responsibility for his mechanic not checking to make sure the belt that I asked Lisa to order fit properly which DID NOT so I take full responsibility for that. Job ended up costing me 5 hours extra in labor which could have been avoided!! read more
