So far I'm giving 5 stars for the first phone call I had yesterday with him. He answered the phone and answered all my questions. I was refereed by my medical. The office is clean, I'm a few minutes early to my appointment. He told me yesterday he had 2 appointments set for today and I could understand. It's 1 min away from my appt and let see how long the wait till be. Honestly I already got my cavity filled somewhere else, and all I may need is a deep cleaning and X-ray! Hopefully and maybe one more filling. Let's see if they can do this job with 5 stars. I see all the 1 star disappointments and I'm not ignoring those! People rate their experiences and I understand. Went in for the first time and received mediocre service. Staff is not personable, no customer service skills. Dental chairs separated by shower curtain rods and shower curtains, looks dirty and unprofessional. Everything is outdated in the office and tools were not even individually wrapped. Once I got up from my chair, I noticed there was even rust on the instruments they use in our mouth, not sanitary at all. The dentist never introduced himself and was jumping around from patient to patient. He literally came to my section and pointed at my xrays and said "you have a root canal!" without even introducing himself. He then proceeded to take pictures with his iPhone of my teeth putting half of his phone in my mouth, which just didn't seem right at all. I left the place and called shortly after and told them to not submit any authorization requests to the insurance as I was going to be looking for a different dental office to go to. I get a call from their office about 3 weeks later saying my authorizations had been approved after I had asked them to not submit anything and going to their office to sign a paperwork! Overall, unprofessional, dirty and poor customer service. Save your time and go to a different dental office. read more

I came in for only a cleaning, knowing that I was cavity free. The dental assistant insisted on giving me an xray after I said I didn't want to be exposed to radiation if unnecessary, even if it was very little radiation. He only wanted to xray so that my insurance can be billed. I'll never go back. He made me believe that I wasn't exposing myself to radiation. I should be able to trust my dentist. Came to this office last year for the first time after being referred. My dentist Dr. De that I absolutely loved retired. I assumed being referred by his office this place would be good. I made an appt and showed up early and lich like others on here i had the same experience of waiting much longer than I should have had to wait. I also watched others who came after me be serviced before me. I came on my birthday because I had the day off from work. By the time they got to me I was told they close soon and may not be able to do both fillings I required. I explained that I waited two and a half hours already and that it wasnt fair and I wanted the work done. Thankfully they reluctantly did them. The dentist (younger one) was very nice and made me feel comfortable. I left assuming the fillings I just had done were good. BUT found myself back there just a couple months later because one if the fillings had already chipped a bit and I couldn't floss between my two teeth due to the other done incorrectly. The second time I went to get the fillings fixed it was the other dentist (older male) and he was very distracted going between me and three other people at the same time. I LITERALLY ENDED UP HAVING TO HOLD MY OWN SPIT SUCKER!! Like really?! So the first filling that chipped he said that the chip didnt affect the integrity of the filling and so he left it how it is. So now I have a wide gap between my back two teeth and have to floss between after every single thing I eat because food gets lodged in there. The filling that made it to where i couldn't floss he just picked at until my gums bled then he ultimately got this sand paper floss tape stuff and attempt to sand sand the issue. When I tried to stop him and tell him he was cutting my lip with the edge of the sand paper tape he tells me "no it's okay my finger is blocking it. Well no he was indeed cutting me and I have two cuts on the side of my lip that had to heal. After all this he asks if there is anything else I'm concerned about and I mention this cavity spec on my very upper front tooth and he literally asks me what I'd like him to do to it ad if I am supposed to know. I gave him a look of I dont know and then said well I'd like it fixed if possible. He then says "I guess I can fill it with some composite if you like" I was about to let him but then as I was left waiting for another 20 minutes I told him never mind when he came back because it was at that point that I realized with the fillings I already got having been messed up in less than a half year I didnt think I wanted this dentist drilling into a front tooth of mine and potentially making it worse than it is. I honestly feel so taken advantage of as they seemed to want to do everything they could to use up my insurance including having me come back for extra cleanings etc just for me to have this outcome. The only reason I came on Yelp to make this complaint about a year and two months later is because tomorrow I have to search and call around for a new dentist as the filling the second dentist picked a away at till it bled has now come loose and is about to fall out so I need it repaired and I dont trust the dentists here at West Dental to work on my teeth again. It's really sad too because bed side manner as far as making me feel comfortable was good here... actual service outcome is horrible. Mike Tran is the name of the dentist here, but there are two of them and they both worked on me. The first younger one seemed a bit more focused than the second one at least but it is his fillings that have failed so yeah. Bad situation and I feel taken advantage of and severely let down. Considering calling delta dental to file a grievance as it just seems that unfair. For someone who brushes and takes care of their teeth as an adult now... my fillings should not be chipping and falling out. read more

I asked an employee of this dentistry if they did job accommodations , the employee advised me that they did , i said great that day i had three teeth removed . Mind you i work in a call Center so I talk for a living how does anyone expect a person to go back to work after getting three teeth pulled and i had to come back and forth in the office because i wasn't given the proper after care instructions. Then when i brought the papers in for a an accommodation for the date missed that's where it went down hill. I was told they cannot accommodate me for the time taken off due to the extractions they did . Today i went in trying to discuss the matter and hand and I waited an hour to not even get seen and handed two lousy doctors notes that my 2 year old could've scribbled up . Now I am at risk of losing my job because their employees don't know the proper procedures with job accommodations. VERY DISAPPOINTED , wouldn't recommend any one that has to take off of work and will need paper work filled out to deal with this dentistry! They will leave you high and dry ! read more

I sat in the lobby for about 20 minutes than they brought me in and sat me in a dental chair for about 10 minutes. The dentist told me that she was hungry and she was going get something to eat. My ex picked Mike to do my daughter's braces. My daughter had the braces on for a year and a half and he was very eager to remove them. My daughter complained about the shape of her teeth but he still insisted upon taking the braces off saying that it's how all teeth look like. He gave her Invisiline as a retainer and her teeth are not satisfactory. She complained to him about these issues and he has done nothing to address the problems. He treats her as if she knows nothing about her teeth and doesn't care about how she feels as a customer. I'm her dad, I love her. But she is not happy with her results, they seem hurried and reckless. As much as she expresses her dissatisfaction, she has been unable to dissuade this orthodontist about the outcome of his work. She's not happy and I'm not happy that she is unhappy. I expected after paying what we did that we would have a satisfactory outcome and we do not. I came to this office TERRIFIED!!! To my surprise as soon as i walked in i felt so comfortable. The vibe I felt from the whole staff was great. Dr. Tran came in and introduced himself and says just call me MIKE!! Wonderful to know that they use digital xrays and radiation was cut 90% from traditional xrays.
