After a set of exrays, which seemed to take forever....the dentist came in never put a single instrument in my mouth . She told me I'm doing a great job, my mouth and teeth look great , ( I was at another dentist two weeks ago...also it's been less than 6 mos since my last check up and cleaning...With No problems or issues...) I visited this dental office back in 2020 for a simple check up. But what I got was an huge price gouging and was overcharged for two cheap crowns at a high price, which were not needed and one of the crowns broke last year 2024. In addition I then learned that there is/was an infection underneath the gums of one tooth that she had me get a root canal and crown which I've been told by another dentist that that tooth needs to be extracted and should never have had a root canal or crown. The work that I received was definitely subpar. The worst dental work and the most pain I've ever received from any dentist. Also I had to return 3 times for a temporary crown that would not stay on. Referrals took over 2 weeks and weren't accurate, they sent me to a specialist that doesn't accept my insurance. There was construction during my visit. Doctor kept leaving the room to attend to construction. They were working on equipment while my daughter was in the exam room. My daughter was in the middle of an exam when the dentist decided to have lunch "taco nazo" to be exact. I'd recommend exploring your options. read more

UPDATED REVIEW AS OF 6/27/2025: IT DISAPPOINTS ME TO WRITE THIS HOWEVER I WILL NOT BE FAKE ABOUT THIS. I REALLY THOUGHT THIS WAS MY "DENTAL FAMILY" BUT SADLY.. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. I spent well over estimated wise $3,000 for services within the last 45 days UPFRONT due to my insurance plan. I was informed that they would work with me for a simple tooth extraction with their 3rd party dentist. The price is $500.00 I literally paid them $250 yesterday with the intention to pay the rest within 2 weeks (IF THAT) it would've been paid. I have never asked for no hand outs when it came to paying for my services from them that I needed In the past and the recent past. I got a call today from the returning receptionist (you know who u are).. advising me that I needed to pay the rest of the payment upfront 5 hours before my scheduled appointment backstory: (when I first came to this dentist, HER and I did not mesh well energetically and it still remains the same. She has a Condescending verbiage that comes off as "professional" & that she is being "nice" it's distasteful & this also adds on to me neeeeeever coming back here tf again). Anyway, I had to max out a credit card just to ensure that I got this work done because the person they use to pull out the wisdom tooth is only available once a month. Which also sent me back on other things that I have going on I should've been told this in advance otherwise I would've just chucked it up and found someone else. I paid them upfront before I get the service, I arrive and I definitely feel some type of way not gonna lie so it's best for me to keep quiet. As usual.. Jolie was a sweetheart and I hold a lot of respect to her and the young lady Jennifer (sadly, Jennifer was not there today). These ladies have always been kind, respectful and professional in their delivery with me and always on top of their job duties. So at Cherry dental today, I get the service done. I'm told that I'll get my pain medication. Usually, when the pain medication comes in, I pick it up from my local CVS. It is now 9:00 PM as I write this - Face puffy, No Pain Medication! no one has responded to my text prior to me asking about my medication when I left at like 7:30- 7:45pm and there were two receptionist there.. the returned rep and the other lady, (I forgot her name). Plus they still had another patient there waiting to receive work as well. Nonetheless, based on the aforementioned interaction I spoke of above, my last text to them was confirming that I will be updating my review (which is here now) and that I find this to be unacceptable on all levels. I don't normally write reviews, BUT this place needs one. I had a negative experience that has made me switch offices completely. Despite scheduling an appointment weeks in advance and confirming my insurance coverage, I encountered serveral issues. Upon arrival, I waited over an hour to be seen, even though the waiting room was empty. When I inquired about rescheduling due to the delay, I was promptly called in, which felt dismissive of my time.​ The initial dental assistant was kind and communicative, explaining each step of the process. Props to her, she needs credit. However, a second assistant was less considerate, causing discomfort during X-rays and responding insensitively when I expressed pain. She pushed the sensor in my mouth and it hurt I spit it out and she laughed. She then also made a a comment to the doctor, to me it seemed in a rude tone, and told the doctor I was rushing. I simply asked how long a teeth cleaning normally takes and she said "let me call the doctor", she just seemed like she was annoyed which I understand, I was annoyed as well and was still able to have manners. I expressed my irritation over the hour+ wait with an appointment and then taking another 40 minutes doing my xrays. After a lengthy X-ray session, the dentist recommended a deep cleaning--the procedure I had originally scheduled..... so I was like yeah I'm aware that's why I booked one. i was then informed that my insurance wouldn't cover the treatment, contradicting the information provided when I booked the appointment.​ Saying I now have to pay $200 plus if I want the cleaning... I waited all that time for nothing, even with prior check in and getting an update with my insurance. This was highly frustrating and they still wanted me to wait. At this point I let myself out and they looked confused that I didn't wanna reschedule an appointment. No apology no anything, I cried out of frustration in the car. Waited 2 + hours in this office to get NOTHING done. Waste of my time and my day, very inconsiderate and if I was gonna wait over an hour after an appointment, what's the point of an appointment ????????? My insurance covers a cleaning every 6 month, they wanted to charge me for it saying my insurance doesn't cover me till May, none of it made sense, she said I needed to go to her other office for a full X-ray's they don't do there, like what ?? Felt like they just wanted me to pay money, my cleaning is free with my instance and I wouldn't have any copay. Never again will I come here or recommend this place. The combination of poor communication, extended wait times, and unexpected costs made this visit frustrating and disheartening. Dr. Hanna has been my dentist for close to a decade!! She really takes the time to review xrays and possible needed work. Dr. Hanna, did extractions of 2 wisdom teeth back 7yrs ago with minimal discomfort. Last year she performed 2 crowns in one visit (of corse, with taking an imprint a week prior) again, minimal discomfort afterwards. Came in today for a regular clean up, Jeanette (RDA) is SooO awesome, she's great in keeping me calm (I'm very anxious about dental visits) gentle with every cleaning. I never leave reviews but my experience was so shocking at this place that I felt I needed to come on here and warn others. DO NOT GO HERE. The staff is very nice, but don't let it fool you, they are crooks. Mark my words, before you even know what hit you they are going to try to talk you into their financing program. They will tell you your insurance doesn't cover things that it does cover, and try to make you pay out of pocket unnecessarily. They will try to scare you into getting crowns you don't need, amongst other unnecessary things, all while smiling in your face. When I questioned the doctor as to why she was trying to give me 3 crowns (at $1K a piece, not covered by insurance) that I obviously did not need she told me it was "preventative". I told her I would be getting a second opinion and she told me another doctor might possibly "see things differently" and just fill it (which IS covered by insurance). I also asked them why they were trying to charge me for things I KNOW are covered by my insurance, and they gave me the run around and told me to pay out of pocket. WTF? PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS REVIEW! It's a long one but I promise you that it's worth it! Dr. Hana is only MONEY HUNGRY and does not care about anything else. When I went in, she tried to say that I "needed" all these procedures- that I knew I didn't need (luckily I'm in the medical field and know a little bit about dental work; also have a friend that works as an RDA) so when I questioned her about those procedures she quickly changed the topic. Also, they charged me and made me sign documents WHILE I WAS GETTING MY CLEANING DONE AND HAD A BUNCH OF INSTRUMENTS DOWN MY THROAT! That same day, she also charged me ahead of time for all of the work that she was going to be doing on my daughter. She started the work on my daughter but couldn't finish and scheduled me to return. I walked out of there 2400$ in debt!!! So after sleeping ln it and getting a second opinion on my daughters teeth, I decided not to continue taking my daughter to Dr. Hana because i realized I was duped! So when I called and asked for my refund, they said I'd need to go in to the office. I'm not kidding when I say that they had me go back to the office 5 DIFFERENT TIMES (such an inconvenience when you work full time/ during their same office hours) because EVERY TIME THAT I WENT IN "DR HANA WAS NOT IN THE OFFICE" and "SHES THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO APPROVE THE REFUND". It took me OVER a month to get my refund and I had to harass them for it!! AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, they would not give me a detailed receipt of all of my charges and they did not allow me to see the paper THAT I HAD SIGNED!!! It was my signature and they did not allow me to physically hold and look at the charges!!! This is THE WORST DENTIST THAT IVE EVER BEEN TO!! Right after she hung up with me, Dr. Hana walked over to her and said "You're doing a great job but I overheard you ask the patient if she wanted to schedule. You don't give them and option. You tell them that they're due for a follow up and just book them. I need you to book as many people as you can every day" 2. On that same day while I was waiting, the RDA that works with Dr Hana approached Dr Hana and said "I convinced patient XYZ to get the antibiotic in a few gum pockets. How much do you want to charge him for each?" The staff around her all clapped and said "yay! Good job girl!" Dr Hana proceeded to think for a bit and said "hmm, let's charge him 90$ for each one" -when I had gotten that same medication, she charged me $60 for each!!! She literally just pulls prices out of her ass! She takes advantage of her patients! She is dishonest and money hungry!! Her and her staff need to take a class on ethics because they all work together to take advantage of others! It's so sad and so unethical!!! read more

I brought my dad here a couple weeks ago, and we were terribly scolded by the dentist. My dad is disabled and has Parkinson's disease. We have not been able to get him to a dentist for a couple of years due to health insurance and dental work being so expensive without it. She was angry that his teeth and gums were bad. I felt bad for him because it is something out of his control, dentistry is more that brushing teeth. It also involves other health issues such as him not being able to swallow, and having dysphasia, including medications that he takes that make his teeth go bad. I wouldn't recommend coming here if your bringing someone that has a disability and health problems. I put off writing this review for too long. I feel now that it would not be morally right of me to not warn everyone to stay far away as possible from this butcher of a dentist. I went to her because I finally got dental insurance and she was the closest doctor in network. Seeing this dentist was one of the worst mistakes of my life. Her entire staff is trained to deceit you into signing up for a health care credit card called Care Credit so she can then charge you over $4,000 in dental services. She made me believe I needed to have this work done because she told me my gums were worse than a smokers, I had 20 cavities, and that I would need 3 crowns. She bullied and scared me into agreeing for all of these things and then cut up my gums so much that I was still bleeding profusely 4 hours later. When I brought it up to her, she said it wasn't her fault that my gums were so weak. Her entire staff were nothing but rude and unhelpful. When I researched into all the work she charged me for, I found out she was charging me for the most expensive materials. I called her out on it on a follow up visit and she said she was only trying to give me the same care she would want for her own daughter. Well guess what? You wouldn't want someone else to over charge your daughter for services, so why are you doing it to your customers you supposedly care about? I ended up telling her I was not going to go through with all of the work she wanted to charge me for and ended up paying out of pocket anyway for a $1000 crown. And the kicker? She STILL charged my insurance for all the services she DID NOT PERFORM. I called my insurance and told them right away DO NOT PAY HER because she didn't do any of the things she was asking them for. When I asked my insurance again what was the status of the claim a month later, they told me she was dodging their calls. And to top it off, a year later, they ask me if I want to come back for a yearly check up. YEAH RIGHT. More like go f*ck yourselves. The audacity of these people. Again, I implore you all to avoid this office at all cost. Save yourself the time and the headache. Go to DTT Dental on south street instead. They are honest people who get the job done at a fair price. TLDR: THIS PLACE SUCKS. DONT COME HERE. THEIR ONLY GOAL IS TO RIP YOU OFF AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Terrible place, just like all the REAL reviews are. I was assigned here by my insurance company, so obviously they are in network. First red flag is it's located in a filthy mostly abandoned strip mall cesspool. Homeless people and trash everywhere. No respectable establishment would do business here. Inside was relatively clean and so I gave it a chance. My insurance covers 100% of cleanings, x-rays and maintenance, yet after some x-rays they say I need $1200 in 'deep cleaning' not covered by my insurance. No cavities mind you, no oral surgery, just "deep cleaning". They push it on you hard too, like a high pressured used car salesmen. I wasn't buying it and told them no thank you just clean my teeth. They said NO WAY to regular cleaning and that they "couldn't" and I "HAD to pay the co-pays". I told them to kick rocks in glass slippers. I paid my $15 office visit and left.
