Earlier in the week I had the time and found a most exquisite necklace. This is better than the Kendra Scott we all see everywhere, without being Tiffany in price point. They seem to have a little of everything, things for the house, jewelry, lamps and just unique finds. If I were ever to open a retail store this is the type I would want. I bought a Judith Voss necklace (she is having a trunk show tomorrow) I unfortunately and busy getting chemo and couldn't make it. The incredibly generous owner offered me the trunk show deal early. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I wasn't pleasant in my decline. No excuses I just wasn't. I actually felt bad enough I came home and asked God to forgive me for being mean and rude. I wanted to apologize to her so I called and reached her, as expected she was gracious about my behavior and I still wanted another necklace for a gift to my 80+ cousin. Again she made the early offer. As it sometimes turns out they were out of the one I wanted for her. But the staff found me another piece and it might actually even be more pretty than my original choice. Again they are giving me the discount a day early. Let's be honest, I was unpleasant, I was a hassle making them search for a subuisite, gift wrap etc. each of the employees seems patient, kind and treat me as if I'm spending big $$$. I have stage IV cancer and the only big bucks thrown around here seem to go to doctors driving Mcclarins. This is a lengthy post because I feel it addresses some real issues we have in society now - I was needlessly rude, she and her employees did not respond in kind. They were patient and kind and determined to please me and there just isn't enough of that any more. Please try this shop out I can't imagine the great Christmas gifts I'll find here (if they allow me back in the store) My honest prayer is that for every lousy customer like me, they have 1000 that are kind and thoughtful like them. And I hope for every dollar I spend someone comes in and spends $10,000. I want to see her business thrive.

After 2 years the table started cracking and going way worse later. After submitting and having a technician inspect the table we were told it was pretty much breaking in half and it couldn't be fixed. Guardsman (the insurance company) denied us the claim and mentioned it's a quality issue and that's not included. When we contact the store they told us they can't do anything because their items only have a 1 year warranty and it's past that. Horrible poor decision by Haverty's to use this SCAM company. Our adjustable king bed frame stopped working after less than 2 1/2 years. The purchased protection plan has brought no good results. Haverty's must be making big bucks by referring customers to Guardsman. Read the reviews and note the same complaints and unresolved "waiting" situations for customers. Shame on Haverty's for using this company. They even have an in-house rep who is supposed to help with problems. Cushy position to just say they are "ordering parts" that may take 12 weeks to arrive. Guardsman doesn't answer the phone. It rings for two hours. Review after review supports this statement. We had the same experience. After finally answering the phone, the customer service rep (if they can be called that) put my husband on hold for another half an hour to order parts that we thought had already been ordered by the gentlemen who came to our home and told us indeed, we did have three non-working motor parts that needed to be replaced. The gentleman stood right in our home and phoned Guardsman with the necessary parts information. After waiting more than a month, and after waiting two hours for G to answer the phone, we were told they needed more information in order to order parts! After we order parts, it might take 12 weeks to get the parts. After the correct parts are received, you still have to schedule the repairs to be done! Shop other furniture stores. I called Nebraska Furniture Mart, and Weirs in Southlake. Neither company uses Guardsman. . Nebraska furniture Mart was adamant that after much trouble with Guardsman- they fired them. Haverty's needs to fire Guardsman and try to regain confidence in its customers! Because Havertys continues to use Guardsman for their protection plan service; we cannot support or shop in their stores again. They need to provide reliable service to their customers. They are well aware of all of the problems with Guardsman. The Havertys department in charge of hiring, a reliable company for a protection plan service has failed. The entire department should be fired For ignoring the problems and continuing to use this scam of a company. Eventually, the bed motor was replaced, but it was a painful experience. Do not shop furniture stores who use this company for repairs whether it be a bed motor or upholstery repairs or anything else. Run run run away.

I received my first bill and it showed I needed to pay the full amount of the sofa by due date or I would be charged full amount and interest. After several calls to local store and corporate office , I was told the sales person didn't click the right button when she ordered it. I paid in full but I am very disappointed with my service from this Southlake store!

    Well, my custom recliner sofa only too 4 1/2 weeks from order to delivery! Less than half the time…read morethey quoted. They are much bigger than I expected so they don't fit the room as well as I had hoped but they look like I expected. It's working out fine, but the two inside recliners can't be fully reclined at the same time because they had to be set up closer together in the room than I expected due to their size. The preorder measurements given are smaller than actual. That is why they don't fit the room as comfortably as I'd like. (Also why 4 stars instead of 5) I think the value of these sofas may not be obvious until I see how long they last. They had better last a very long time. They're certainly heavy! They are also a bit firmer than I expected so I'm hoping it's just a "break in" period. However, I am enjoying coming to my spot to kickback, recline and relax each day. Also, I love that the backs of these sofas are not split like most reclining sofas. The backs of the are visible from other rooms so it was important to me that you couldn't tell they were recliners. They recline inside of the sofa shell they are built in to. It just looks like a pretty, white, leather sofa and loveseat.

The same 25% sale sign was still up. The salesperson Jen checked me out and when I mentioned it was on sale, she said, I don't think so. I told her the sign was up and she said show me. All in a snarky voice. We walked over and I showed her the sign. She said that's for Christmas decor, which I mentioned, the tree is decor. She argued with me when I said if it's not decor, it should be put somewhere else rather than by the sale sign that was misleading. Again, in a rude voice, she said, where would you like me to put it. It was fine it wasn't on sale, but that comment was uncalled for and very unprofessional. When I got home, I looked up Christmas Decor on Kirkland website and the very same tree is listed. The store is great and had fabulous things, but they are lacking customer service.

I have been in several times over the past year and every time I get treated like family the moment I walk in the door! I have also recommended this location to all my friends. The managers (I forgot her name but she is tall.. and the other manager is a man and I think his name starts with a B..) they are so much fun and bend over backwards for us anytime we need assistance- they are right there!! I sometimes wish they had more product like their website.. preferably larger furniture items.. but their online ordering process is also easy because you can have it sent to the store and they even give you a coupon when you go pick up.
