The store is located in La Encantada. It has a variety of home goods, mostly living room and kitchen including furniture. Furniture on display has to be ordered and might take awhile. There were also some patio items and planters. The store is laid out in such a way that you aren't close to other shoppers. I was greeted upon entering and noted the sign with COVID precautions and the store appeared very clean. They have people to help you with design needs. They had some nice things and I saw one piece of furniture I may return for after taking some measurements. The items seemed to be of a nice quality.

The girl proceeds to tell my mom that she doesn't know where in store the shirt would be and when my mom asked for help to look for it the girl refused. We then asked another employee if we could just have the shirt that was in the mannequin because it was a small and the employee tells my mom they are not allowed to take clothes off the mannequin. As my mom is checking out i start looking around the store to find the shirt and one of the employee sees me and tells me to leave because they are closed, i tell her the situation (we were already checking out and my mom saw a shirt she liked and we just wanted to find it to buy it before leaving) it is 6:01 at this point and the employee tells my mom that we can come back tomorrow and they can take it off the mannequin for her to buy tomorrow. We live in Vail and will not be driving all the way back to this location tomorrow just for a shirt, we were in store and we're ready to buy it then. The girl checking my mom out didn't even offer to order it for my mom online since we could not find it in store. All the employees working the closing shirt at the la encantada location today (Sunday, September 14,2025) are rude and not helpful at all. I get it the store had just closed but we had already been inside and were checking out, it would not have cost them anything to help us find the shirt or at least order it online prior to us leaving. We left the store at 6:03pm because we were practically being kicked out. My mother and I will never return to this location again due to these rude employees. Anthropologie if you care about having customers return I would recommend looking for some new staff because these girls working the closing shift tonight are going to ruin your business, I have never been to a store that does any means necessary to not help you. Terrible customer service. I would rate this store a 0 stars if i could.

I've enjoyed their cards and stickers especially, they have some great and unique desert themed ones that just make things feel more personalized when sending. They also offer a huge selection of local made products and vendors, from candles to local salts/chocolates/popcorn/treats to hand towels and home goods. I've purchased from Creative Kind and also started frequenting some of the local vendors they carry too because Ive loved their products so much! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming too. This is my first stop when gift shopping, regardless of the occasion, because there is something great for everyone in this store. I also love that they host pop up markets in the space and invite in other makers. I've discovered some great new products and artists here and always have the best time at workshops (I didn't take pictures, but the cocktail, charcuterie and dried flower arrangement one has been my favorite.) They also offer private events, which I've stumbled upon a few times and always seem lovely. Hilari has the best taste and is always so friendly when I stop in. It's been lovely getting to know her and see this shop grow and thrive over the past few years.

I take moments to admire things every time that I pass; I only wish they had more natural skulls. Believe it or not, we visited Arizona many years before we moved here, and The Happy Suguaro played a key factor in deciding to move here; it just captured the spirit and magic of the land so well. The store has broad selection of seasonal and year-round wares that are colorful and interesting. All the above said, I have two issues with the place. First, the seasonal products like Talavera and pottery are priced higher than other merchants by 20% and I think that may be due to their location and the amount of inventory--my best advice is to wait for a sale. Second is the lack of a public restroom which I find ridiculous--they advertise on social media so their audience is broad, after a two-hour trip being told you can use a restroom at Trader Joe's is ridiculously inconvenient. Would I recommend The Happy Saguaro? Yes and no, if you're in the area or enroute to other destinations, it's worth a stop. If you're looking for something in particular you have to have, call and it can be worth the drive but realize you may be paying for it.
