Each meat was moist and had just enough smoke flavor. Nothing was drenched in bbq sauce (it was on the side... although nothing needed it). And the side dishes?... they are NOT an afterthought. We had smoked mushrooms, beans and slaw. Each had a little flavor twist from the chef (I'm not going to give it away). Excellent. The service was very welcoming and attentive. Think Midwest nice. There was a constant flow of customers and everyone was greeted by the staff with small talk that just resulted in a very nice atmosphere to sit and enjoy your food! If you are looking for true BBQ, I would definitely suggest coming here... even if it's a bit of a drive for you. It's the best around Northeast Ohio imho.

I love the combos as you can gather up the delicious BBQ sauces (do NOT tell me to pick one- I will cry as every single one is delicious). Should out to the mustard one. This girl here does not like mustard- and I usually snag two containers of that magic stuff. If you go in the afternoon during the summer- you get a beautiful view of the Harbor bridge and some awesome sailboats breezing by. The staff is smiling and fast. There is a modest yet deeply satisfying menu that includes a homemade pretzel shaped like the logo of the brewery along with pierogis and many burgers. If you sit outside it will be hard to resist the sandwiches which you can smell and watch cooking. The location is very convenient to Pymatuning State Park, especially the Jamestown facilities or Ohio/Andover facilities. It's a short and direct drive over to I-79 so this is a very accessible place if you're traveling from or between Erie and Pittsburgh. While I've not tried the adjoining winery yet it will be part of the itinerary next time, as it was equally inviting! I cannot wait to return. Highly recommend!
