    Mess Plate
    Lynn K.

Really friendly counter staff and so many choices! I got a pulled pork sandwich and fries and my date got the mess plate. We enjoyed everything. There is a condiment station where you can add sauces if you like. Give it a try!

There is something that just feels right about being greeted with BB King and Blues Brothers music when entering a BBQ spot. I loved the ambiance of said music, warm conversation of adjacent families sharing their meals, and of course, the smell of some good cooking. The variety of sauces was fun, the tea was good, and the sides and BBQ themselves were on point. The service for better or worse is pretty hands-off. Be aware also that they charge a bit more for brisket when eaten as a part of their meat sets, for some reason. Good times here, and I would visit again if I get to visit the Buckeye state.

So we went to the Ambrosia concert in Warren, OH. We decided to leave early to grab a bite to eat along the way. We stumbled upon this place. OH-EM-GEE!!! Hands down THEE BEST bbq. The picture speaks for itself. It's not a big spot, but the service is great. It's a tiny bbq joint, and it can be a bit crowded inside, but they do have outdoor tables. They also have a creamery, right next door. We didn't get to try it because we were so full. I ordered the "Mess Plate" for $9.99 It comes with pulled pork, Mac n Cheese, sprinkled shredded cheese and two onion rings. I couldn't finish it. If you're in the area, definitely check them out!

Brisket, sausage, collage greens, and slaw. Yum!

So many choices so little room in my stomach to eat it all.... But I tried. Pork rinds. I love them. Especially when they are fresh. These came in a pretty big paper bag and were suuuuper tasty. Brisket.... Just right. I think I got a little of each sauce and had fun dipping little pieces of it to try them all. The sauces were all great. But I liked the mustard one best. The burnt ends were my favorite. The sausage was spiiiicy! But so, so tasty! Collard greens were some of the best I've had. I couldn't eat it all and ended up eating the rest for lunch the next day. You definitely get your moneys worth. The kids got burgers and were very happy with them. The gal at the counter was super helpful and patient with the indecisive teens. It's probably a good idea I don't live nearby or I'd be here on the regular.

You know the moment you walk into this joint that there's a legit pitmaster somewhere on the premises. I have traveled all over the country and have been to some of the best bbq joints in KC and Texas. This place is hands down some of the best bbq I have ever eaten. The flavor profiles in the shkrimps n cheddar jalapeño grits and in the greens are rich and well balanced. The ribs were perfectly seasoned and tender. The mac n cheese is creamy and delicious. I'm a dry rub bbq fan. I did not try any of the multiple flavors of bbq sauce. I was so stunned by how delicious the bbq was, I had to go next door to the creamery and experience the hype. I tried the Cookie Monster and the Blueberry Cheesecake, highly recommend. The staff and service were also top notch. Big ups to the owners. This is a hidden gem.

I got the ribs last time and they were good but the brisket i got this time was pretty mid. Really dry and not a lot of flavor. The sides are where it's at tho espescially the cheesy potatoes!! The corn casserole is not bad as well but ive had better. My faves are definitely the cheesy potatoes and actually the pickles lmao they slap pretty hard

My boyfriend and I weren't really into the King Cajun Seafood Special Sauce. I usually go for house special sauces since they're usually good, but this one just didn't hit the spot. We ordered the hot spice level, but it wasn't spicy at all, and the sauce had this creamy taste--maybe they added flour or cornstarch to thicken it? I prefer my seafood boil sauce to be zesty and spicy. We ended up ordering a side of Cajun garlic butter sauce instead, and that was way better in my opinion. I also wish I had asked for a side of lemon slices (my bad), it would've made the flavors pop more with some extra zest and tang. One thing I really liked about the restaurant was that their seafood sizes were enormous! The shrimp and crawfish were jumbo-sized, and the Dungeness crab was packed with meat. Oh, and a heads up, when we ordered extra corn, we thought it would be three cut pieces, but I think it was actually three whole corn cut into thirds. So yeah, no need to order extra corn unless you really love it. We ended up leaving with a whole bag of corn. I guess that will be my lunch and dinner for tomorrow.

They ranged from sweet to boozy. It was a nice variety that offered something for everyone. For dinner I tried the crab crusted salmon. It was a good pairing, but the salmon without the crab left something to be desired. The Chophouse offers a vegan/vegetarian menu, but you do have to ask for it. One of the featured items on that menu was the ratatouille. It was fantastic and I would certainly recommend it. For sides I greatly enjoyed the Caesar salad, which was not too fishy, and the whipped Yukons were a delight. Large parties can be a challenge, but regardless I found the service to be a bit inconsistent. Though always friendly, we had to remind our server of items that we had asked for on more than one occasion. Near the end of the meal it seemed that the bussers were pushing for us to wrap things up and get out, despite not having been there for a terribly long time. We were asked multiple times if certain items could be cleared while we were still eating them. They just didn't seem to have a good feel for this. There certainly were some strong dishes and I wouldn't hesitate to go again, though it would be on a special occasion as they are certainly not cheap.

Now to the food. They have a fantastic menu so you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My family and I have tried all kinds of things and loved them. It's our go to for celebrations. We started off with the fried artichokes which were crispy and delicious. They reminded us of the ones we had in Rome last year. My mom and I had the lemon pasta with shrimp. It was unbelievably good. You got tons of shrimp and the pasta was soft and melted in your mouth with the lemon. My husband loved his wedding soup and chicken Milanese. I don't say this lightly...this is the real deal…read more I'm originally from South Florida, and I've spent time in Jamaica, so I'm very picky when it comes to Caribbean food. I've had a lot of "close enough" over the years...but this? This is authentic. This is the kind of food that makes you pause midbite and just nod. Dalia's isn't your typical restaurant, and that's part of what makes it so special. It's set inside what feels like a home, and when you walk in, that's exactly the experience...you're not just a customer, you feel like a guest. It's warm, personal, and genuinely welcoming in a way you just don't find in most places anymore. And I have to say...everything is spotless. You can tell she takes pride not just in her food, but in the space she's inviting you into. And she carries that same care into the food. I've been here multiple times, and what impresses me most is the consistency. You know how some places wow you the first time, then slowly fall off? Not here. Every single visit, the food has been just as good as the last. That alone is rare. Now let's talk about the oxtail... Fall-off-the-bone tender, rich, deeply seasoned...but perfectly balanced. Not overly spicy, not bland...just enough heat to remind you you're eating proper Jamaican food. And unlike a lot of places, you actually get meat here. Generous, satisfying portions that feel like someone cooked this for you on purpose. The rice (and yes, it's seasoned beautifully...more like a classic Caribbean rice than traditional peas and rice) is the perfect base, especially when you ask for a little extra of that brown sauce over the top. Trust me on that. The cabbage has a nice little kick to it, cooked just right...not soggy, not raw. The plantains? Sweet, caramelized, exactly what you want them to be. And I have to mention the mac & cheese because it surprised me in the best way. Creamy, with a perfect cheese pull, but not heavy or overwhelming. It's balanced...comforting without being too much. One of the things that really stood out to me is the quality of the meat. I actually asked her about it, and she sources locally from a farm...which explains a lot. You can taste the difference. Also, pro tip: call ahead. Her food is fresh and made with care, and she does sell out. I usually let her know what day I'm coming and what I want, and she's always incredibly accommodating and kind about it. The first time I came, she even gave me a sample plate with a little bit of everything...and there wasn't a single thing on that plate I wouldn't order again. This place isn't just a restaurant...it's an experience. It feels like sitting in someone's home, being fed with pride, skill, and love. Honestly? It's a hidden gem, and places like this are getting harder to find. I'll be back again...and again.

My bf and I split an order of 10 wings and the stuffed jumbo shrimp that comes with two sides. We asked to mix the buffalo and garlic sauces and the sever brought out buffalo garlic parm, which we were more than ok with. The wings were crispy, but the sauce needed a little salt. The shrimp came out and were honestly smaller than we expected when we read "jumbo", but were still extremely delicious. It ended up being pretty filling with the two sides. We chose the rice pilaf and the mac and cheese. Both sides also needed some salt, but pretty good. The mac and cheese reminded me of a popular kind from the freezer section. The bathrooms were smaller, but clean. They have a ton of parking available directly out front and just slightly up the hill on the side of the building.
