We went to Pensacola shortly after he left and arrived to the ER waiting area and and only had to wait a few minutes in the waiting area. One of the girls at the desk told us she'd let us know when he was checked in. We didn't have to wait long she didn't have to be asked again she let us know we could go follow one of her fellow employees. We had to walk a bit before we got to the area where they brought my Dad. I was impressed the ER Dr was already talking to my Dad and They had alreaïdy had a iv port in and drew blood The Dr was very nice. He explained he would get X-rays and a CT ordered right away. The one young nurse was so nice to my Dad after she left he even said she was wonderful to him. (I love when they are this way you can tell they enjoy their job!) There is like 4-5 hospitals in the Pensacola area I didn't know what hospital he should go to but my brother's wife use to be a nurse there so it helped a lot to just have him to go there. They took all the tests as we waited to see what the out come would be. It was after 2am when the Dr said my Dad would be admitted and have more tests. So we decided to leave and let my Dad rest he was very tired and it would be awhile before they would get him a room and moved. Everyone we dealt with was very professional. (The way they should be!) Everyone seemed happy to be in their role and this helped to set a good mood for my visit. I was taken in to see Dr. Sharma right on time which was a first for a doctor's office visit! I was very happy that Dr. Sharma was already fully aware of my condition and had already reviewed all of my testing results from my referring doctor. He made me fell comfortable with his expertise and in all that he explained as well as the options for me moving forward. I would highly recommend Dr. Sharma!

I went into anaphylactic shock for the first time late at night. I managed to drive myself to their…read moreER but by the time I got there I could barely breathe and could not talk. I handed the admission lady my purse, she asked if she could get my info out of it, they put me in a chair and must have gotten me back on a stretcher and started giving epi I guess. They were getting ready to intubate but I guess the swelling had started to go down. They literally saved my life with their quick actions. I was admitted to ICU that night in case it came back. I can't thank them enough.

This is THE best hospital experience HubbyStanks and I have had. This hospital is a part of Baptist Health which I'm quite impressed with. This is a newer hospital in a great part of Greater P'cola. As a wife trying to be there for her husband I was taken great care of as well. The cafeteria is awesome serving freshly made, close to gourmet meals at a reasonable price. As a foodie this means a lot. What I'm even more impressed with is the Coffee Shop. They serve Starbucks, but they have EVERY flavor you can't get at Starbuck corporate! I've been pissed that I can't get my Toffee Nut Mochas and I got it here. I got it with Oat Milk and they made it better than Starbucks corporate! The chips and fresh fruit and salads sold at the coffee shop are amazing...so amazing that when I'm on my way to Pensacola Beach I have vowed to stop in during open hours to get salads and coffee! So, the staff at this hospital are amazing. Bedside manner is perfect. My husband was well taken care of. I keep trying to see if my appointments and doctors will be booked here but I haven't been that lucky. The other Baptist Hospitals in Pensacola just aren't up to par with Gulf Breeze Hospital.

I had been brought…read moreinto the em room by ambulance several times for congestive heart failure and while I understand that the emergency room needs improvement I also know that every single time I was brought in I was respected and treated with dignity! I am transgender and I was addressed by my chosen name not my dead name! yes it took a long time to get a room once they decided to admit me one time my sister was so upset because I layed on a gurney in the hallway for 3 days before they fo a room for me but this is a problem that they need to fix the emergency room as far as the work they do is great I was near death when they brought me in on the ambulance and they saved me and stabilized me and even though I had to wait sometimes days for a bed they m sure that I was taken care of that I was as comfortable as possible given the situation and that I ate and that I had all the proper care and medication that I needed! as it turned out I had a faulty heart valve do to a birth defect that I didn't know I had and that had kept getting worse and worse for 62 years until I started having congestive heart failure! while in the hospital the last time the ambulance brought me in I was referred to one of the doctors at the heart institute and they did valve replacement surgery and replaced the defective valve in my heart! that was a year ago and today I am doing better than I have ever done with my heart ! I can't say enough good things about Baptist hospital or the heart institute because Baptist hospital and the heart institute and the good doctors and nurses in the ER and the heart institute and on the 9 th floor saved my life I would be dead right now if it weren't for the care they gave me and the surgery that the doctor from the heart institute preformed on me! they saved my life literally !!
