I've pack applied 15min on 15 off the staff kept them coming and kept me pain free
    Marcia S.

On February 5 I was admitted to GBH for elective cervical disc replacement & cervical fusion ACDF. I just can't say enough about how well I was cared for from start to finish. I've been using Gulf Breeze Hospital for well over twenty years and it's just the best of the best, bar none. Dr. Mark Giovanini has done three surgeries on me over the past 15 years and he's absolutely the best at what he does. During this past issue I suffered for two years four months with chronic neck pain causing numbness, tingling, and pain jolting through my arms, post surgery my neck feels 100% better, and I haven't lost feeling in my hands, no more tingling, no more jolts of pain. Other than the aches of post surgical pain I feel great and suspect I'll continue to improve, I feel like I have a new neck. I can't Thank the staff at GBH enough, from Tammy who started my IV, to the pre op staff that joined in prayer with my son before they took me to surgery, to Kristi M, RN in post op she was wonderful very kind, kept me out of severe pain no breakthrough pain. I just love Michael D., NPrac just a great guy, I just wanna take him home, he's a gem. I was in Room 219 & Lori RN my daytime nurse was very very nice kept me informed and comfortable, very sweet RN. My Physical therapist was great- Cameron very informative and super nice. We laughed and just built a rapport. My Nighttime RN- Stephanie was so sweet, she found me sherbet to soothe my throat, and last but not least Dr. Gio what a fantastic neurosurgeon and sweetheart, he has the best bedside manners and was very attentive to my concerns and questions. Peeps don't settle for good, settle for greatness, go to the best of the best Gulf Breeze Hospital. I'm 7 days post op and feeling brand new Neuromicrospine.com - I might add I live in Fort Walton Beach, I'll never go to any ED or Stay anywhere but Gulf Breeze a Hospital they are that good at what they do, I think I'd know as I'm also a Paramedic and have worked in Escambia county, Santa Rosa County, and Okaloosa county, I know hospitals and I know who I want taking cars of me, Keep up the great work GBH and crew

This is the reason why I couldn't fix my own catheter

Dr. Goyeneche and Associates receive a biG A+ from myself and family…read more I had an in office visit today, March 2025, for a shot in my hip to help reduce the pain which I'm experiencing. It was done with great ease and very little discomfort. Dr. Goyeneche receives an A+ due to two previous shots in my hip, which were awful. His skills are far above past experiences. There was a clear difference between Dr. Goyeneche's service in this facility and the previous facility. Bed side manners also receive an A+. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. Kind Regards, Dorothy (Dolly) Quill

This is for the Pace location…read more I am not one to do this but I came here for my initial Physical Therapy weeks ago and worked with Viktor and thought he ws great. He really was, so i give hime credit. He was empathetic and helpful. I have had major cervical stenosis and major myofascial muscle knots because of it. He was able to help take the edge off the pain with stretches which I appreciated and tried to work out the knots but with little success. But I dont believe that was his fault. The pain came back full force, even with stretching and injections. After talking to my primary she was confused on why PT didn't recommend dry needling or another procedure for my back that my pain Dr that sent then could try since the knots were so bad and would not disappear. ( I now realize they don't have the training or schooling deal with severe issues at this location). So she ordered another referral but asked me to go to a different Physical therapist. I was happy with my previous experience so I said i would go back to these guys. The referral was sent over. It specifically stated dry needling for thorasic strain in wall and tendon. It was VERY clear it was the back. They scheduled me two weeks out and if you have severe pain, you know how long two weeks feels like. I go in today for it and received a different PT. She immediately did not seem as empathetic as Viktor. She actually had NO CLUE why i was there or even looked at my paperwork before seeing her patient. (Another suggestion, if your patient returns, do not switch therapist). She told me, no we don't do that here. We are not trained for that. I would have had to take way more courses and I am not going to do that. OK. I really didn't think that was professional to state the last part but ok. I was not impressed with the bedside manner. She was even joking with other patients while she was dealing with my tears and distress. Unacceptable. I left in tears (mostly due to being in pain for 6 months and I thought FINALLY I am going to get some relief. It was quite embarrassing to have this whole thing go on in front of other patients instead of in private with my Healthcare provider. Since I am at it, why does the front desk ladies always seem bothered you are interrupting non work related conversations. A smile might be nice. That being said, I waited TWO weeks for that appointment. In pain. Why in the WORLD is Andrews scheduling for a referral they can NOT do. The woman told me the front desk really doesn't know things and they just schedule. Maybe this girl was new. I don't know. I am not putting her name out there because everyone has bad days but while I got a sorry, it was not ok to joke, and not ok to mention the schooling part the way she did. There is a professional, kind way to handle that situation and that wasn't it. WHY is a professional not looking over these referrals first? Why are trained medical professionals not going over thier patients paperwork before seeing them? Very very unprofessional. And very VERY WRONG to schedule that far out for something they can not do. I don't understand. Please, please Andrews, have a trained professional review these referrals. Do not waste the time of patients that have been physically hurting and are dealing with severe emotional strain because of it. When you do this, they have to start over with a new PT that could also take several weeks and delay healing and relief. And if you do mess up show some accountability. NICOLE WALL

I'm also fairly new to the area, don't have established dr yet and self pay. This place fit what I needed. I walked in about 1115 and was greeted promptly and filled out paperwork. The receptionist/nurse was very professional and kind. After getting my paperwork said be just a few min. I was taken to a room shortly after. She truly listened to what was going on and then I only waited a short time on dr who also was very kind and professional and actually listened as well. I feel I was properly diagnosed and given appropriate medications that were promptly called in to pharmacy. I was so happy about my visit as my husband needed an urgent care shortly after moving where not only was he not listened to, he was horribly misdiagnosed, delaying treatment and we had to wait till next day for prescription and charged an astronomical amount (800+) giving they saw him less than 5 min and his wait 4 hrs. My wait here from start to finish 1hr and my fee was around $95.00. This place definitely has my family's business in the future.

My veteran husband had a spinal decompression after a spinal fushion 13 years ago. First off I wanted to say that my husband was pleased with Dr Lurate. He did not have anything negative to say about him. All the nurses we dealt with in surgery waiting were kind and pleasant. Shout out to Lavail and Gemmie. Both nurses were very sweet. I can't remember the name of the nurse with long blonde hair but she was nice also. As for the nurse Karen on the second floor that took care of my husband the first night I have 4 words for you and that is GET A NEW PROFESSION. Not only were you not attentive to my husband but he asked you for crackers and you put the crackers so far on tbe table he couldn't reach it. He also said you didnt care if he wore his sleep machine or not. Which is very disturbing as my husband could stop breathing. My husband remembers almost everything and I believe she thought he wouldn't. I will never leave my husband alone at the hospital ever again if that nurse is working. None of that would of happened in my presence. Shame on her. Thankfully the next day before my husband was discharged he had two wonderful nurses Rebecca and Sara. Mary who wheeled my husband to the car was awesome. Lastly the coffee maker in tbe surgery waiting area was disgustingly inside and looked to never of been cleaned, cafeteria floors and tables were gross as well. There was someone cleaning inside the surgery waiting but I don't think she's advised to clean coffee maker inside. The lady that worked in the front was very nice and offered a warm blanket to me which I thought was super sweet.
