I had a rash on my back that was itching something terrible. After calling several dermatologist…read moretrying to get an appointment I called Anavil dermatology and they could schedule me the following week. On the day of my appointment I went in and the staff seemed to be friendly. When I went back to the room, the assistant handed me a gown to put on and left the room. A few minutes later a lady walked in with a nurse and said she was the dermatologist's assistant. She looked at my back and said " I don't know what it is it could be several things. How bad does it itch on a e of 1-10." I said a 9 1/2. She said I will give you a prescription for some cream for the itching. She said if you get anymore bumps cover them with a bandaid to keep from scratching them and come back. I told her I had some places on my skin I would like for her to check that I wanted to make sure they were not skin cancer. She took a quick look and said "They are fine" and walked out the door. She was in and out in less than 2 minutes. Didn't seem to care all. You would have thought she was about to miss a flight! If you need a dermatologist I would suggest going somewhere else!

Not taking insurance is a HUFE deal and should have been communicated before waiting in line. There are better, cheaper, and faster options elsewhere.

I wore UVA 50 and UVB 50 protection clothing...from full hat, wrap around neck and face covering, full length sleeves and long pants, gloves, socks and boat shoes. No sun screen allowed as it destroys coral beds. Skin cancers became common in even teenagers. I moved here to West Georgia in 2012. Dr Lamb was superb at diagnosing and removing my skin cancers. But now he's dead...so RIP Dr. Lamb!

Obviously still thinks shes in the army. I was quoted 2k for a full treatment. After 12 treatments i was asked to pay $100 for additional treatments. And at 22 treatments i was asked pay $250 for additional treatments. I have no problems paying for a service but the terms were changed on me twice. Had i have known this in the beginning i would have never stepped foot in the door. They're easy payment plan and sales pitch is what lures one in. If they did what they said they would do it would be a highly recommended practice. Ive known many people to leave them for the same reason.
