Nail service was great. Took my daughter and niece today in advance of an event tomorrow and upcoming holiday travel and all of the nail technicians were very pleasant and attentive. We each had Jelly pedicures which is something worth experiencing again. My issue and reason for the 3 stars is the waxing service I received that has left me with a wax burn covering the right side of my mouth and chin...just 1 day before my birthday celebration. She covered my entire lower lip and chin area with wax and then worked her way left to right using the removal strips. The area that is burned and painful was the last area stripped. This is hugely painful and now I am treating with antibiotic cream the night before my makeover, photoshoot and celebration. I am so sad I agreed to this service. read more

The ladies that work there are nice. However, my $48 mani/pedi went to $58 because of a color that "lasts longer" unbeknownst to me. I don't have an issue with a couple of dollars more, after I'm asked about it. But I was caught by surprise by this. read more

This was my 2nd time here. I like the prices for shellac ($40) and they have a gazillion colors - maybe 100? I got a free 5 min neck massage when I came on Friday morning. There were only 2 other customers. They had one lady do my toes and a 2nd my nails to cut time down. They have one lady who can do designs, also. read more

This is a great gem for a great price. Michelle did a great job on my pedicure and used hot stones for a leg and foot massage. Hanna did my manicure and didn't judge my brittle nails. And Nancy did my eyelashes. I felt like a VIP here and I also added a 15 minute shoulder massage for an additional $15. This is now my new salon. read more

before she started my service, I checked to make sure they had the color I wanted. the confirmed and showed me the samples but after they started my nails, the polish did not match the swatch and I ended up not getting exactly what I came in for. they were completely rude about the whole thing and the shop manager proceeded to talk shit about me for the rest of the appointment. charged me the full amount even though I didn't get what I came in for and they said they could do. definitely won't be back. with so many nail salons in Houston, would def recommend going somewhere else. read more

I LOVE this place. My previous go-to was in Kingwood, but now that my husband and I live in the area, we will not go anywhere else. The price for a deluxe pedi is great for what it includes AND you can also get a neck & shoulder massage during your pedi. The place is also clean and the service is great. I always recommended this place to friends who live in or near the area. *With COVID changes, you'll be required to wait in your car until your appointment time. Wait at the door when your appointment time comes up and they will unlock the door to let you in, with a mask on, of course. Still the same great service! read more

I've been coming here on and off for about 2 years. They aren't anything fancy, and they don't offer cocktails (like my beloved Bliss) but their prices are good, and the quality on their shellac is good. They also can get you in and out in an hour. I don't love that they always try to shove more massage time down my throat, or eye brow waxing, which is why I like places my Bliss where they don't upsell you. For a quick mani/pedi, this is a solid choice, and they really know their shellac! read more

They will do a nice job on your cuticles, cleaning up your fingers and toes to make them look presentable, then they will rush through painting your nails at light-speed, not caring if its uneven or jammed up against your cuticles - which is exactly how my manicure looks. Walk-ins welcome. Not sure if they take reservations. Went for a mani-pedi. The pedicure was excellent. My feet look damn good -and they were not in tip top shape to begin with. I'm very disappointed in the manicure, however. I had the l&p acrylic nails done because that's what I'm familiar with and I don't know anything about gel. It's been a few years since I've had fake nails and I was super excited about the pampering and end result ...until yesterday. It's been 3 days and two nails are already lifting a little and I can tell from the edges that a few others will start lifting soon. I regret getting them done at all. Yay! I'm the first reviewer :-) Well, I was hesitant to come to this place since it had no reviews...but after going to other places nearby that had a wait, I came here and I am glad I did! This place is relatively cheap (for how expensive nails are in Houston) and so I was pleased with that. The ladies did a GREAT job on my nails and were thorough. I didn't even have to ask (although I was going to) for them to apply a third coat of Shellac....Score! They also offer massages while you're getting your nails done ($1/minute and well worth it). They have strong hands and worked out all the kinks in my neck. Being new to Houston, I'm working on finding all my beauty providers and I think I've found my nail place! read more

I was treated here and I still would not go here again even with someone else's money. I just found the overall experience to be poor. The salon is overall very basic and for the price you can find salons with a better ambiance as well as better service. They did not offer us any beverages, which was very disappointing. I only received a gel manicure, but I was not at all impressed. During the manicure the woman did not shape my nails properly and no matter how I tried to explain she did not understand. Then another manicurist had to come over and show her. Even after that she did a poor job and ended up having to cut all my nails shorter. Furthermore, my nails had air bubbles when complete. There are so many nail places in Houston and it's surrounding areas - go somewhere else with better ambiance, more personable staff, and better quality work. Also as a nail polish snob - they did not have the current ESSIE colors but did have a larger OPI collection, I am not sure if it was the new collections. read more

I've been going to WGN for over 2 years. I go to Mimi who's excellent.... I can't say enough about her. She takes her time, gives a great pedi/mani and massage. My nails always look great. She is super sweet and very professional. The only negative is about the salon clients. Unfortunately several of the clients that frequent the salon are oblivious that they are rude. One girl recently spent spent an hour in the chair on Facetime speaking very loudly. Others sit on the phone and talk about everything from their family and personal issues. I've suggested they put up a sign to turn off the phones but it falls on deaf ears. The manager or owner needs to put up a sign. Other than that its a great salon but the phone issue is sometimes not very pleasant when you just want to relax. read more

Extremely disappointed in this nail salon.. I've been a customer for over seven years and the service has drastically gone done hill. Not to mention the turn over rate here has become extremely noticeable. It really bothered me that the lady doing my manicure would hit my hand when my fingers would unknowingly lift up. Or would throw the pillow into my lap when it would slide down. It didn't help that she would let out a loud sigh to let me know that I was bothering her. Customer service is definitely not a priority to this business anymore. Nor is the cleanliness. While they have begun using plastic fitted covers where you place your feet in the water. The lady doing my pedicure used a used pair of cuticle cutters out of her box instead of the ones that come in a sealed package. Good way for a customer to get an infection. I would keep going but I'm not about tearing a business to shreds. Especially one that my family has frequented for several years. I will be taking me business else where and I would advise that future customers do the same. There are plenty of other nail salons in the area that do a better job for the same price. read more

This is by far the worst place I have ever gotten my nails done at. First off, they are not clean. Especially during Covid. But also the lady who did my nails argued with me about the length that I wanted. I had to explain to her multiple times what I shape I wanted on my nails, and she still didn't get them correct. As she finished my dip nails, I asked her for a second clear coat. And she said no! I could not believe it. My sister sat next to me and her nail lady did it without her asking? And the lady that is doing my nails is arguing with me trying to talk me out of it??? I was like ma'am they are long and I want 2 coats. The lady did not like it. She didn't even respond nor look at me. Im here paying for services and you treat me like this???? I do not give reviews on businesses but I am more pissed then I have ever been for a set of nails. Because I did not leave happy. You are supposed to make your customer happy. My dipped nail set was $50. Plus I tipped her $15.00... why?? to prove a point. To be honest the ONLY reason they're getting a star is because I can't comment without giving a star. This place is worth less then 1 star! By far the worst place. It's known that displayed nail colors are not always the same shade when they're put on your nail which is why some salons sample colors on clients. I asked for two different dip colors to be tested on my nail to ensure the accuracy of the shade and it goes well with my skin tone. The two nail techs said they can't do that because it takes a while to remove. No It Does Not. It takes one minute or so to remove dip powder from a pinky nail. I don't know how long ago that sample was made or how many dips were done. It's mind blowing that she refused to test it. I'm not going to argue with someone who wants to argue what can/can't be done. My pedicure was great and so was the technician. Overall the location is great but I can't say the same for the entire staff and customer service. It seems they only want to do what's expected and forget the little things. This place is awesome! Where to start.. it's small, but they have a lot of people working, so there was no wait. I went around lunch time, which is usually when the big rush hits. Got seated right away. Shellac manicure is $30- normal and they have TONS!! of colors. My shade was light, and she applied three coats (usually have to)... She shaped my nails perfectly. They even massage your neck and shoulders afterwards, at no extra cost. The only thing that ruined my relaxing time was a customer who would not stop moaning and complaining..ugh. They did a great job waxing my eyebrows and many times I have bad them waxed at salons they rip skin off, that didn't happen here. The included neck and shoulder massage was amazing! read more

This is my favorite place to get my nails done. I usually get shellac nails and a basic pedicure for $55. The shellac lasts about the typical 2 weeks. The ladies there are very nice. The only thing I don't like is the shoulder massages. The lady who gave me a massage was too rough. The shellac is $30 but worth it. read more

My boyfriend and I went for pedicures yesterday. I gave myself a little time before I wrote the review because I was so mad when I left. When we walked up I knew it was a bad sign when there was literally no one in the place at 6 pm. My pedicure was mediocre and the massage was given with a timer! Ten minutes of rubbing my foot with no effort for $45? Also, do they not understand that it makes people feel very uncomfortable when they talk in a different language the entire time you're trying to relax. You have to step up your service if you want to charge as much as you do. There are 4 nails salons on your block! read more

Quality not so good plus over priced. They messed up on my nail first time so I went back and got it fixed. But after 2 days later the nails either chipping or bubbling up in the middle of the nail. Recently I went to West Gray Nails & Spa and had a wonderful experience of fabulous pampering. I was so impressed with the atmosphere and the salon was spotless. The girls there are all so friendly and the services are reasonable in price and very good results for nails, pedicure, facial and eyelash extensions. I had a special occasion to attend and found every service I had to be done with perfection. I strongly recommend you to go by and visit Nancy and the ladies there and treat yourself to some well deserved pampering, while my nails were being done I even got a relaxing neck rub. The facial that I got had my skin feeling so soft and glowing afterward. The pedicure was marvelous and so relaxing too. The eye lash extensions turned out great also, they use top notch products and they are still on today after my visit there a few weeks ago.
