Let me start by saying that the service is very friendly and they did everything they could to make us feel taken care of. They also did a good job on our manicures and pedicures as requested. Overall, good/OK on my first try with them. I brought in a design I saw on Pinterest and they were very welcoming as soon as I walked in to show them what I wanted. I was offered a drink and as I looked around, the salon seemed very clean and put together. From afar, my nails look great. As I looked closely, the fine lines that I was charged an extra $20-25 was not worth the extra charge. If you look closely, each nail is not even and some are more fine than the others. I can see where it's a light black, where it's not quite straight. My least favorite was probably being able to see my natural nails underneath in real like lighting; I was hoping the nude would be quite similar to the one I shower but I was in such a rush out that I just couldn't do much then. I may be a bit hesitant to try another time as I'm very particular for a pricey sit down but I'm definitely considering it! I would not come back here .... Came for mani pedi and ended up needing antibiotics. I requested only file no cutting my toe nails . Somehow the tech ended up stabbing under my toe nail with a pointed scraper and cutting my actual skin. My manicure looked nice at first but the GEL chipped within 12 hours . I was refunded for the pedicure only after the worker took photos of my foot (weird) and made me talk to the owner on the phone. YIKES !! . I went here under the recommendation of a friend who goes often and loves it but I unfortunately didn't feel the same. I needed a pedicure because the soles of my feet were raggedy after spending some time at the beach so I needed a good scrub and buff (I don't even use nail polish so I literally went to get some dead skin off). I got the Organic Spa Pedi which is one of the higher priced options which includes a basic pedicure, sea salt/ sugar scrub for exfoliation, mud mask, hot towel wrap, 10-mins massage... the whole 9 yards. I enjoyed the massage and all the treatment however, the pedicure itself left much to be wanted because she barely scrapped some of the dead skin off. To be fair, my friend said she always gets the guy and he always gets her good - to the point where today, she felt like he scrubbed a it too hard. I don't think I'll ever go back but if I did, I'll specifically ask for the guy or monitor my buff closely and offer unsolicited suggestions that might get me cussed out . 3 stars because it is not a miserable experience tbh. My friend gets shellac nail polish here and swears by them so if you like to get polish, it might be worth a try. The massage chairs are also great AND you get a free drink... just, no promises on the quality of your pedicure. read more

When you want trendy nails, go find you a nail tech who can says they can do it and deliver. I tried the Hailey Bieber trend at multiple salons and finally found someone who can deliver! I'm obsessed with my nails, I can't stop staring at them. This was the first time I visited Fizz and I thought service was nice from the lady at the front desk to everyone else. Julie is sweet, fun to talk to, meticulous with nail shaping and she did this! Call it quits on this Salon. I've been coming here religiously every 2-3 weeks since 2019. I went in today to get one nail fixed bc it was lifting up. The girl that "fixed" my nail slapped some gel on top of it and called it a day after I asked her to please bond it back down with acrylic. Got home about an hour later and my nail has came up again and ripped my real nail underneath (I don't have tips on). Worst part is I paid for it to get fixed. Completely unacceptable and now I have no time to go back to have this fixed anywhere else as I have Christmas events all weekend. read more

I left with nothing done. Absolutely ridiculous. I understand an establishment being busy but don't lie to your customers about wait times. I also understand the wait time is an estimate, but being there for almost an hour with nothing done is not acceptable. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I moved recently and have been checking out nail salons. This one is close to my house, so i made an appointment for a gel mani/pedi for a Thursday afternoon. The manager greeted me briefly when i arrived and told me to wash my hands and have a seat in one of the pedi chairs, which i did. She then tossed a nail color sample set on my lap and told me to choose my colors. I had never heard of the brand of nail polish the samples were for, but i didn't push back. I wish i had; the pedi color lost its lustre quickly, and the gel color used for my mani involved an elongated process unlike any I've experienced before, as the color cured unevenly (and ended up distinctly unlike the sample). Based on this experience, this salon will be a last-minute option for me, not my "home salon." read more

I got this done yesterday and the massive gaps left at the cuticle are really bugging me. Makes my long fingers look short and I'll have to get them redone way sooner than usual. my nail is bleeding after getting burned in a gel manicure. Never have I ever got burned from a gel manicure. My skin under my nail is bleeding. Not happy with the job and to make matters worse the lady doing my pedicure pricked me while cleaning up my cuticle. I'm not sure if it was because I was a guy and they are in a hurry or what. Will not be returning. The place is clean and my nail tech was nice and did a decent job, however I felt I was ripped off. First, I decided to upgrade my basic pedicure $35, because they charge $8 extra for "callous removal." The next upgraded pedicure was $45, and basically the same amount but with some extras. I was excited because the foot massage for the upgraded pedicure is 10 minutes, per the menu. NOPE! It didn't even last the full length of a song that was playing in the salon. Little Mix's, "Black Magic" to be specific, which is 3 minutes and 32 seconds long. This is annoying because I expect to get what I paid for and the massage is my favorite part of a pedicure. Also, the "callous removal" is just the little grater, which is automatically included at my normal spot. Second, this upgraded pedicure was supposed to include a mud mask on your legs, followed by a hot towel wrap. When I brought this to my nail tech's attention, she said "yes, I put the hot towel on your legs," and proceeds to open the towel to show me my bare legs, no "mud" on them. Finally, when I went to check out and brought this to I guess the manager's attention, her words, "I do realized that we need to change the description, because a lot of people get confused. They think there's supposed to actually be a mask." I said I received the cream on my legs which was used to massage me like the description says but no mud, to which she said "yes, that's the mud mask." But if that's the mud mask then why does the description say mud mask, finished with a cream massage? I just thought her explanation was her trying to cover up. I was upset with the way my complaint was handled. All I got was an apology and they would talk to the girl about the length of my massage. The least they could've done was offer some kind of small discount... especially because I didn't get the full length of my massage. They also charged $10 to remove my very overgrown dipped nails... anywhere else I've been only charge $5. I would've been better off popping them off myself, they were already becoming unstuck to my nails, but the girl at the front desk told me not to worry, they'd do it for me. Also, the technique they use to remove dip is not good. Instead of individually wrapping nails in foil and acetone, my nail tech had me put my entire hands in a bag filled with acetone, as I rubbed my nails against a paper towel. Yes, this method is quick, but dried my finger tips out so much! Overall, I will not be returning because of the way they handled my concerns. read more

I love coming to Fizz!!!!! I've been looking for a reliable & clean salon for a long time. When you first see this place you expect it to be one of those salons that charge double the price because of their fancy establishment. Fizz nails is every bit as fancy and high-end but their prices are fair bc they put their customers first. I'm always so jealous when I hear friends talk about how they love their nail person. Finding a specific person that I want to go to every time in any nail salon is tough. I have finally found my "special person" Elaine. She does my dip manicure perfectly every single time and she makes sitting there for such a long time really enjoyable. I know gushing about how wonderful she is, will make it a little bit harder for me to get an appointment with her. I think the person who did my nails didn't file them at all or not enough but this is the worst shellac application I have ever had!! Shellac usually lasts me 2-3 weeks. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The space is clean, bright and well designed. I loved my nails for the first two days but on the third day small chips in the polish were showing at my nails tips. I got my nails done Weds night, and by Friday night my nails were showing small chips at the ends, by Sunday morning (today) the polish is badly chipped and peeling. I haven't done anything to cause the polish to chip besides normal activities - driving a car, loading groceries, washing hair, etc. I expect the professionally done polish to last longer than 3 days. I'm extremely disappointed because my polish lasts longer when I do it myself at home. While writing this review my polish chipped even more. read more
