Stopped going here because my beloved nail tech was very rude & snappy with me on my last visit. I had an appointment but was in a hurry (ish) to get my son from school. When I came in, my guy (won't name him) was with someone else. I told the main manager woman who is always there that if he was busy I was okay to have someone else do my nails. About 10 min later he started on my nails after he finished but was so short with me, never asked how I liked the shape or color as he usually does & rushed the service finishing a fast 30 min later. When he was done I said "wow you can do that so fast!" to which he snapped at me how the manager got him in trouble because of me & that if I am in a rush to not make an appointment & just walk in to someone available. He is quick(my nails only take 45 minutes to an hour), but always does an amazing job. As you get to know him you might to get to hear some of his bad jokes. I chose the classic pedicure which comes with a 4 min shoulder massage - the nail tech tried to convince me I didn't want it.. then proceeded to give a 30 sec massage. on top of that, my friends car got towed downtown which cost $315! My nails were beautiful initially. 2 days later they were cracking and chipping off. I live 40 min away from the salon and told them I would visit every 3 weeks to get my nails done. I asked for something natural that would last. Mary convinced me to try builder gel. My nails were breaking off and chipping daily. All that they told me was to come get it fixed. Finally found a good nail salon close to me that I like! Came here after work on a week day and they had a pretty steady flow of customers in and out. I was seated right away when I came in and my mani and pedi started right after. Bob did my nails and I absolutely loved them. He was very friendly and worked fast yet carefully. Tim was amazing and patient. He did my sisters nails in dip rainbow, so cute! He was very nice and offered her a drink as he worked on her nails. This place has a lavish style and atmosphere. However, the staff is not very welcoming.. they just stared at us as we walked in and Hanna who did my shellac polish change, did not offer me a drink and did not want to put rhinestones on all of my fingers as I requested and was paying for. I ended up telling her that placing rhinestones on 2 fingers would be fine. I guess she was ready to go. If i go back it would be only to have Tim do my nails. One thing that I did like aside from Tim lol, was that since covid they had my Sis and I wash our hands prior to receiving service. The technicians wore gloves and ofcourse face masks. Got a manicure and got a huge cut when the nail tech was cutting my cuticles. It's Wednesday and still hurts and looks bad. It was so bad that it took a while to make it stop bleeding. "If I could give 0 stars I would". This is THE WORST nail salon I have ever been to. The nail tech kept walking away to talk via FaceTime or grab her headphones. My fingertips were not soaked nor did she add oil to my cuticles. I left with dry untended cuticles. I paid $45 and left absolutely NO TIP. If you're in the customer service industry, do that, service your customers. It has become so uncreative of people to become unapologetically self righteous, with no regard and still expect for others to tip them and not say anything at all. What made it okay for you to think touching your phone then touching a clients hands is ok? Isn't that a sanitary concern that is more than likely addressed by TDLR? Do you not think that perhaps clients may not approve of that? It's equivalent to an esthetician doing a facial and touching her phone and going back to the clients face. Absolutely disturbing and disgusting. What was the Cherry on top was a sweet innocent little girl, probably about 12 years old, maybe younger, I'm assuming, running the register, and another seemingly non-employee next to her that asked "do you want to do the register now?" I appreciate learning experiences and learning how to be around public; it creates great minds as well as people. And my toes and nails came out amazing including the massages! They offer beverages as well and the prices were reasonable! My total was a little over $90 mode a gel mani gel pedi and design. So far it's been almost 5 days no chipping. They don't carry "hard gel polish" yet but this works so far. Very professional and took their time all while placing wholesale items on the phone from Vegas. Good conversation and good coffee. Towels were clean , Disinfectant and Sanitation was definitely enforced. I made sure they used new scrubbers on my feet and emery boards. This place is gonna be my goto for pedi now! Reasons 1. Clean and calming (they use all disposable stuff and metal tools are sterilized). 2. Good quality: I got the basic pedicure but the lady that did mine was still so meticulous and did a great job with exfoliation and massage! I'm going to get the longer one next time. Also this was the first time that I wasn't dying of ticklishness during exfoliation haha The chair is also better quality and newer massage chair than lots of other salons. I got my nails done for my birthday on Friday 04/30 by a male here at polished nail lounge. I wanted a simple lavender set and a pedicure and had an appointment for 9am. I arrived to the salon on time, my nails were done at the pedicure station. When he glued down the fake nail to my nail he glued it extremely close to the nail edge so it was only glued on by a sliver. I figured he knew what he was doing so I didn't say anything. Fast forward to my set being complete, they looked nice. I leave the salon and I notice a couple hours after things are sticking to my new nails. I was already on my way to Celebrate my birthday so there was nothing I could do. By Sunday I had lost 2 nails, by Tuesday I had lost 3. I've only had my nails on for 3-4 days and they look brown and fuzzy due to the uncured polish. I got 48 hours with my nails before they started breaking. I was going to go back to get them repaired it with so many already broken it's not worth it. I need to remove and get them redone. Been coming here for years and this past year prices has increased but quality has decreased. We got left in the other room several times, no one checked on us. Anywho I went today and Asked for a simple design and the guy (who I didn't ask for) couldn't get even do it.
