Recieved a letter that states my child's wages were taken away from her and must have been…read moremistakenly reported. This is not the case bc she is a child model/actor and had a valid income. The rep was extremely rude and stated "what kind of earnings is a 5 year going to have?" in a rude and judgmental tone. He then started reading "policy" and stated must be bc she is under 6 which has literally nothing to do with the letter I received. I asked to speak to a manager and he refused to let me saying he gave me the answer and I can come into to the office. He refused to allow me to even speak or tell him what specifically the letter states bc he continued to cut me off as I was talking. He then hung up on me. I called back and he hung up on me again before answering. I will report this to corporate office. Who employs these incompetent people?

From the time that I placed the phone call, to scheduling the appointment to being in person at this branch, it was Saks Fifth Avenue level of Customer Service. EVERYBODY I have encountered in this process, is so helpful and KIND. It all started with the phone call to schedule the appointment. I swear, if the rep in Columbia, MD on the phone was any more helpful and friendly, she would have invited me over for Sunday dinner. I was GOBSMACKED. She was confused about me wanting to schedule in MD and not PA, but I told her I knew what I was doing. The funny thing is that the secret is out already. Even though I live in the southern part of Chester County, PA, everyone in my neighborhood says to go to the Elkton Office. Don't waste your time going to West Chester. My financial advisor in Greenville, DE said the SAME thing. I related this stellar reputation that the office had to live up to the nice lady helping me, and she seemed initially embarrassed, but at the end, I told her "See, it's true." While the building might not hold a huge collection, the new book section is extensive and books on hold arrive fairly quickly from the Delaware Library network. I've taken a free craft class here and have send signage for plenty of kid & family friendly free events. The kids section looks large and there's rarely been a visit where I haven't seen some kind of family or kid event going on there so probably a great destination option. Librarians and staff are friendly and helpful and any checkout lines move very quickly. Pro tip: Sign up for their newsletter and you'll get a consistent reminder of all the events they have going!

It's pretty big & has many computers as well as the "den" area where there's plenty of kids toys. These words above are not RECOGNIZED or UNDERSTOOD in this courthouse... I do not feel safe walking around inside there alone anymore...just don't know who I might bump into. They have made me feel fearfully and unsafe WHEN being inside CHESTER COUNTY COURT HOUSE. And that's just dealing with them in a family law matter, I can't imagine having to deal with them on a complicated issue. THINK LONG and HARD, CAUSE YOUR BEST INTEREST CERTAINLY isn't THEIRS....
