This time , we were turned away for being 5+ mins late, when I had already sedated my dog for the check up. Could be more flexible. Considering changing to a new vet near our area now.

*edit* Thank you for your response. To be clear -…read more 1. Let's try not to change the subject. If it had just been about running late, I wouldn't have raised any concerns. Your response also makes it sound like my family was much later than they were, which misrepresents the situation --it's about how someone from your clinic later mischaracterized me to another provider. Framing a loyal client as a "problem" felt discriminatory and unprofessional. If it weren't for this, no one would have been upset. 2. My parents were turned away immediately after arriving, and I received no phone call, email, or follow-up offering care or rescheduling. I believe you had the kind intention to extend the schedule, but your intention doesn't match what actually happened. 3. I'll let future clients decide based on their own experience. ------------------------ I honestly wanted to give one star here--but I know there are good vets working at this clinic. One of them took great care of my cat, and I truly adore her, so I'm giving two. I was a loyal client for 2 years with mostly positive experiences--until I asked my parents to take my cat in for a visit. They speak basic English and brought translation tools, and I had emailed and called ahead to make sure it would be okay. Despite that, they were turned away at the appointment. I didn't complain and simply switched clinics--until my new vet "cat&dog clinic at Bellevue" told me that someone from this clinic contacted to "warn" them about me, without my knowledge. What kind of warning is that? That a long-time client who communicated in advance and asked her non-native-English-speaking family to help just ONCE? It sounds so bizarre and unnecessary --unless it was just gossiping. But gossip leaning on a discriminatory narrative? Either way, it felt unprofessional and frankly disrespectful. It was disappointing to see such exclusionary behavior from a healthcare provider. If you just value basic cultural respect, I'd think twice before coming here.

After combing through countless reviews of Dr. Matt Slentz, we scheduled an appointment with him this morning for our puppy's (Leo) final puppy visit and vaccinations. Dr. Matt exceeded our expectations. He has wonderful bedside manner, is incredibly informative, and--just as other reviewers mentioned--remarkably generous with his time. He made sure all of our questions were answered and even covered general puppy FAQs we didn't know to ask. His delivery was straightforward and upfront, providing honest professional opinions without sugarcoating, which we truly appreciated. During the visit, our puppy had an accident in the exam room. Without hesitation, Dr. Matt immediately grabbed paper towels and cleaned it himself, without gloves, while the veterinary assistant stood by. That moment spoke volumes--demonstrating genuine care, humility, and a willingness to step in without concern for appearances. He also noted that hand nibbling (as distinct from biting) is consistent with normal puppy developmental behavior and allowed our puppy to nibble on him during the exam, which was reassuring to observe. It is evident that both Dr. Miller and Dr. Matt hold their veterinary oath in the highest regard. Knowing we can trust them brings immense peace of mind when it comes to our puppy's care. This practice should have been a five-star experience based on Dr. Miller, Dr. Matt, and the front desk staff alone. Unfortunately, a **detached, impersonal, and indifferent interaction with Madden--marked by a lack of empathy and engagement--**overshadowed what they truly deserved.

Sometimes there are delays with the vet coming in when he gets backed up with something else. I had trouble getting someone on the phone when I initially tried to make an appointment and left a message that didn't get returned but otherwise they have been great to work with so far.

I explained our dog's situation and a couple of technicians grabbed a cart to assist me with transporting my large dog into the facility. They quickly evaluated her and made sure that not only was my dog comfortable, but that I was comfortable as well. The emergency room techs were very attentive to my dog. They were constantly checking on her while we waited for her to be examined. After they conducted the initial exam, they proceeded to run tests. They went above and beyond by asking me if I would like to watch from the window while they took x-rays and blood to ensure that my dog was at ease. After the exams and tests were completed, the doctor explained in great detail what had taken place. They informed me that my dog had a stroke and recommended that she be seen by a neurologist. The doctor went above and beyond by proceeding to call local neurologists and place a referral for my dog. The attentiveness and time the facility spent taking care of my dog were exceptional. I was beyond impressed with Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) of Redmond and I would highly recommend this location for care of animals in an emergency.

I understood the need to prioritize urgent/emergent needs which is why I didn't dock too much but we really didn't get checked on for like three and a half hours. When we were seen, the staff were polite kind and prescribed medication to help him with discomfort while we waited to see our standard vet. The cost wasn't too bad either, around $300 for the eval plus three medications. Would definitely be back here in case of emergency.

I have been taking my puppy to Brookfield since I got him - about 9 months…read more My initial visit was awful. When the appointment was over, they told me they were taking him to the back to trim his nails and to get him used to the back in case it was ever needed. They said they do this every appointment. 20 minutes after he had been taken back, I asked what the hold up was and they let me know it's their unofficial policy to let every single staff member pet puppies. "It's the puppy tax" they said. They have never taken him into the back or trimmed his nails again. Not cute or amusing when you need to get back to your job. They send out confusing and incorrect emails about flea/parasite medications needing to be updated. I also took my puppy in as he was having some diarrhea. They took a $250 fecal sample, told me it was positive and charged me another $200+ for medication to cure it. A week or so later - I get an email letting me know Oopsie!! He was negative and their system was telling them he was positive to a test he had taken from his first apt ever there (which we were told was negative!) The cherry on top was receiving a quote for his neutering for $2,000 weeks after i had booked the appointment. Save your money and find literally any other vet.

It was super easy to schedule with a week advanced notice. When I had a schedule conflict come up two days in advance they were able to reschedule me for later that day. It was my cat's post adoption checkup. The staff instantly bonded and accommodated my curious cat. My charge was zero because I had adopted her from a local shelter and no one attempted to sell me anything. Instead the DVM took her time carefully considering my cat's weight, behavior and risk profile. The peace of mind I got from bringing the newest addition to my family here was priceless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend every cat owner I know come here. This is truly a special place. I look forward to going to my new baby's regular visits and vaccines here in the future. For the last 30 years, I have raised really large parrots. Shadow is the first cat I ever owned. It was so reassuring to know that I had found the right place and set of resources to take care of my new adoptee.
