I had done my research prior to buying a package from ALS, and thought I was making an informed decision for my provider. The package I purchased was for upper lip and brazilian. Initially they had me coming in every 6 weeks, which I have since learned was entirely to frequently for my personal hair growth cycles, and the laser they were using was an older model, the point and click kind. It was painful, and I had no decrease in lip (stache') hair growth, and the bikini/brazilian was still a patchwork design after 6 treatments, with a LOT of hair left. Frankly, I looked like I had mange down there. :( Since they closed, I have turned to Aloft Beauty for my services. Pit hair . . . GONE! Lip hair . . . well, almost GONE! Bikini/brazilian, finally smooth! The other big difference for me was the level of discomfort, so much less with the rolling type of treatment. They scheduled me a free consultation after work (which was awesome bc most of these types of places are closed by the time I get off) and Wendy was super sweet and able to answer all of my questions. She got me set up on a series of b12/ lipo shots which are supposed to help lose weight and have more energy. She also told me that since I'm blonde, the hair on my arms might be too light to treat with laser, but the darker hair on my underarms, legs, and bikini would work. I'm bummed about the arms, but I appreciate her honesty... I've had other places tell me they could treat blonde hair, but she explained why that isn't possible, and I'm glad I got a second opinion before dropping a ton of money. Their prices are a lot lower than I've seen elsewhere too, so as soon as I can save up I'll be on that asap!!!!1 Overall, it's been a little over a week and I feel super energized!
