The product they use is called VI Peel Precision Plus. I had some uneven skin tone with some slight to mod acne scars and some slight active acne. My aesthetician (Amber)was very friendly and said she could tell I was going to have great results because of how my skin was responding-turning red and frosting where there were some DNA-damaged cells--interesting! The product itself has a very strong chemical-ly odor which is to be expected. I was careful not to inhale it too much. I've read other reviews where they say that they had peeling here but it did nothing for them, I think it depends on how many times you've had it done--the first is always the best! Also, this brand line is good for beginners like me. Didn't burn my face off, it felt like I was blushing profusely (ergo the redness). But not uncomfortable. The peeling cost $399.00 which is expensive for me. I did do a Yelp voucher paying $75 for $100 voucher. ~$25.00 off. Not bad. I will update after a few days with final pics at the end of 7 days. My first impression of Connie was that of someone warm, patient and caring, and 9 months later, my opinion of her remains the same. She is easy to work with and very customer-oriented. I had a 60 min electrolysis and a 5 min laser consultation on my face and neck. She did not use any gloves when touching my face, I didn't see her wash her hands before, during or after my treatment. She did a laser treatment on someone before me and didn't clean the equipment before using it on me. Also, I have been getting electrolysis for years and this treatment hurt like nothing I have ever experienced before. While I appreciate her aggressiveness in wanting to get the stubborn hairs, zapping me 6-7 times in the same hair follicle would hurt just about anybody. Even when I complained about how much it hurt, she just explain what she was doing but didn't actually stop zapping me. My face was inflamed and irritated for 4 days afterwards. If you have sensitive skin or very stubborn hair, I would not recommend going to her, at least not without getting something to numb your face first.
