Right now this is the only store in Connecticut, but one of the workers there told me that they're opening another one in Manchester, Connecticut. That's great! It's an awesome store. This store is right next to Bob's. One of the workers told me that the owner owns both stores. The Bob's side has the toilets. The workers are helpful. There's a good selection of outdoors stuff. You can become a member for free, and you get money back and coupons. There were already some Black Friday deals out. They had a sign that you can rent stuff too. Great store!

She hooked us up with some free weights and also gave us some cool free magnets. Prices were very fair and the bait was fresh. And as it turns out, my parents bought their fishing rods twenty years ago on their honeymoon at this shop - and the rods still work perfectly. If you're going fishing in the area, you have got to stop at this place first. We owe our great experience to them!

There's a collection of men's and women's clothes, shoes, and accessories, fairly priced (similar to MSRP). I bought a pair of Sperry Boats, which I wore out of the store after they gracefully threw away my old, beat up ones. My fiancé purchased a Vineyard Vines Shep Shirt and a rain shawl (which she's very happy about). This shop will do very well and I'm happy to have given them business. The RR swing bridge opens on demand -hail channel 13 -- but the Highway bridge -also hail "Mystic Rt 1 hway Bridge on 13- opens only 40 minutes after the hour so plan accordingly. Mariners searching for a place to put in should call in advance for availability. It is a decent sized yard with fuel, ice and a clean swimming pool. On the east side if the river it is a half mile from the Mystic train station and about that distance from a gas station and pizza place. If you take your dinghy up the river there is a dinghy dock just south of the Route one bridge and you can head into town. There are a couple of ice cream paroles, a toy store, casual and expensive restaurants and wonderful clothing and gift shops. Check out the galleries! The gem of the Mystic River is Mystic Seaport. You can arrive by dinghy and put her in north of the north dock which is past the lighthouse on the bend of the river. Brewers is a wonderful spot to venture to by boat and take in all Mystic has to offer. If casinos is your thing you probably could get a cab. The yard also can do repairs. Grills, laundry and clean showers are available. Wifi is available also and you can ask about pump outs. There is a ump out service on the river. Seatow also operates nearby. The marina is quiet and the boaters are respectful. It is not a party marina like some in Newport. Great for families. My favorite restaurants: Kitchen Little for breakfast (by dinghy). Marguerites for Mexican, Angie's for pizza and Italian take out ( they deliver), Oyster Company, S&P Oyster for the view of the river, Drawbridge Ice Cream for dessert!

Fast forward, they haven't done a thing. The concrete is broken up and there is actually rebar sticking up. My husband cut his leg tying up the boat. Nervous about grandkids coming down. I brought my motorcycle in to be worked on and after a week i was told it was ready. I picked up my motorcycle and couldnt ride it at the time as i had to hual it back home. Later that day i took it for a ride and to my surprise the problem i was told was fixed was clearly not fixed. Dropped my motorcycle off once again this time due to staffing i could not get my bike after a week being in the shop. So i said it had to be a sign and i was going to trade it back in, it would take days to get a response while trying to discuss potential trade options and price differences. Well after 3 weeks of my motorcycle being at Mike's location i finally got it back 6/20/2025 decided to take it for a ride 6/21/2025 and the problem happened all over again. Truly disappointing seeing as I have wanted a street glide for a while, to now having to either bring it back to the shop to be looked at yet once again or get rid of it completely. I am truly disappointed because I took my motorcycle riding course at Mike's and it is where i wanted to purchase my first Harley, but truly has been a NIGHTMARE. OWNED THIS MOTORCYCLE FOR JUST OVER A MONTH IT HAS SPENT MORE TIME AT MIKE'S THEN ME RIDING IT.
