LOVE! This is a great store for boat people. Our whole family are boat people. Hubby's fam are Vikings, fine sailors. My family are coonass's, we fish, crab, & pirate around. None of us have drowned, just sayin. Anyway, you can get a ton of great fishing gear here, big fishing coolers, I got a nice little yeti I LOVE! They have the big cast fishing buggy! I got a beach buggy for all me pirate wares. They have snorkeling gear, all kinds of safety gear, all kinds of gear for on the water. Really fun store for Pirates mate. They also have tons of sperry for men & women. We love sperry. It's the only kind of kicks we wear. They have the best selection of sperrys I have found anywhere. LOVE! They also carry tons of swimsuits! I got a beautiful ROXY full long sleeve top for paddle boarding so I won't get burned. And, got a couple of matching cute ROXY swimsuit bottoms to go with the long-sleeve top. They carry good quality items like Ron Jons. They do have some small craft in-store but not that much. A few kayaks & a couple paddle boards. I wanted to purchase a new paddle board at this location but the one I wanted got damaged somehow so the salesperson told me to look online that I can purchase from a larger online selection & have it shipped directly to my home or to the store for pickup. So that's what I'm going to do. Anchors away! Arrrr! Recommend.

Thank you to Lauren the guys from west marine. On North Davis highway in Pensacola. I purchased a penn rampage rod on April 15th and fished with it April 20th. I landed a massive Gag grouper that broke the tip of the rod. Went to exchange the rod on Saturday and I was met with resistance so I called penn and back to west marine where Lauren agreed to replace the rod. I under stand she didn't have too but i will definitely continue you to shop here because of this type of customer service. Thank for the understanding and working with me

A really excellent A/N/AF/M/CG [Army / Navy / Air Force / Marine / Coast Guard] "surplus" store -…read morewhich is to say that in addition to "experienced" gear they also keep an EXCELLENT selection of new [greenhorn?] items currently, recently or previously used by various armed forces / first responders and the elite proletarian guard [police types]... notably a good selection of Red Rock bags and a SUPER selection of Real Live Genuine Made In USA 550 Paracord for all your cording and tie things up, down, etc. needs... The helpers are quite nice, well informed, helpful and polite + hours are reasonable enough to accommodate the majority of schedules. Prices seem quite reasonable from what I saw - although I only went in for a single item [BDU desert weight pants - YAY! cargo pants from Mars] and these were less than paid for same / similar item at BOTH other surplus establishments OR online resources. They also have a genuine dog tag maker machine with a good selection of blanks, though if you have your heart set on a pair or three of these EXCELLENT identification items - call first to make sure an operator for this cool machine will be around. BONUS: this store is located in a REALLY cool [read: non-white] part of Pcola with some excellent dining options [YAY! Oscar's the Hot Cake King!!!] and several funky groovy thrift stores - where you can part with some of the moneys you saved at Brownsville... FULL DISCLOSURE: I am a fan of all things military & surplus and survival / camping / Zombie Apocalypse and generally find these types of stores cool Cool COOL; some being better than others and Brownsville being one of the better ones I've been through / found / visited. Zenjoy.

They have the best prices in town and by far the best selection of military gear. I use them a lot…read morewhen I need to find a stray item last minute.

I had 2 handguns I'd purchased at an online auction sent to the FFL at Pensacola Indoor Shooting…read moreRange. They arrived a few days apart, so when the second arrived, I called them around noon to see if I could come in to pick both up, as I have a concealed carry permit and the law does not require me to have the waiting period. The guy who I was talking to said "OK" and asked me to hold for a few seconds while he went to check on both guns. He returned to the phone and said they had both guns, that I could pick them both up...$40 FFL fee for the Astra revolver and $60 fee for the Colt revolver + the $5 background check. I asked him why the extra $20 on the Colt. He said "because that Colt came in today" and he'd have to "rush" the paperwork on that gun because it just came in today, whereas the Astra came in a day or so before so there was no "rush" fee on that gun's paperwork. I infer that is store policy to charge an extra $20 if they have to "rush". I said to him, "OK, I had hoped to pick up both today, but I'll wait until tomorrow to save myself $20. I told him I had no further comment to make about that extra $20 rush fee but I suspect he could read my mind right now. He said "OK". I declined to pay the extra $20 and told the man I'd wait until the next day so they wouldn't have to "rush". Here's the deal: When I acquire 2 guns at the same time, both guns go on the same ATF form 4473. That actually saves time in paperwork. It creates no requirement to "rush". That $20 fee is just wallet mining, and if the customer doesn't pay it, he gets "penalized" with a 1 day wait. Kind of like "Give me $20 or I'll make you wait to get your gun". I begrudge no company turning a profit or making money. But the fee that FFL's charge to complete the required federal paperwork (ATF form 4473) is just to complete the paperwork. It has no proviso on how much they can charge. The creative addition of a $20 "Rush" charge on top of their regular $40 fee is just wrong. Not illegal. Just wrong. I've been around guns since before federal paperwork became required for a citizen to buy or transfer a gun across state lines. I have never heard of an FFL license holder charging an extra "rush" fee like that. I won't go back there. I dislike their business model.
