Very rude people. Take your kids somewhere else to rock climb. We went here in AM 'cause we found it in a brochure from the tourist office. I asked to climb the wall. An old lady, not quite as old as my 75. kept saying "you can't climb till 3P.M". Why is that? She just repeated it again and again. She could have said it did not open till then, but nothing, no rational for putting us off till 3. I was walking away from this waste of time conversation when my 12 yr old foster child called me back. She calls me Granny like my natural grandchildren do. The old lady, instead of asking me if I had power of attorney over the child, confronted the child about it, say that only her birth mother could give permission. At 3 we went to the wall. The instructor was strict and that is OK. But there was no need to cuss because I was slow to grasp it all. We got the child to climb the easy spot. Then were sent to the harder spots where there was no footing for a novice climber. The instructor came to us and climbing with ease, using his 2 inch long bare toes and long spider legs, scoffed at the child who had never uses these muscles before. Luckily the easy training spot opened up and we were able to get back there and climb till the child was warn out. read more

Great place for your outdoor adventure!! The knowledgeable owner and employees helped me obtain what I needed and took the time to explain other alternatives. In fact, the owner suggested a lower priced product than what I had chosen after he asked about my plans in the trails. That showed me the kind of store they are and I will be a customer from now on. The prices are competitive and you will not get the attention and help they provide on-line. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. read more

This evening Weatheford's has shown me some worst business practices I've seen to date. My friends and I drove 45 minutes to climb their walls like I've done multiple times in the past. This particular time, it was 2 of my friends first time climbing at THEIR gym BUT because we got there at 7:05 PM instead of 7:00 PM they were not allowed to climb because they had to receive a 20 minute "lesson" geared towards safety. NOWHERE on Weatherford's website will it mention this policy mind you! No matter how many times we let the folks there know that we were ok with only climbing 1 hour, they would not let them climb but they did however go back to bouldering and enjoying their evening. I am very displeased with the way they handled this tonight and they have lost my friend's and my business for the remainder of our military tour here. read more

Not many walls to climb and kinda cramped but good for being the only rock gym in Pensacola. Also, Gabrielle needs to be fired. She doesn't have any sense of customer service and is very standoffish and disrespectful. Everyone else is really nice though. read more
