With the bugs, the crowd, and the crazy lines for food, It wasnt worth it staying so we left after 15 minutes. Glad we didnt stick around for everyone leaving, the parking situation must be insane to leave. Maybe if the event was a bit more it would be worth the admission a but more. It seems like a missed opportunity to have arts and crafts vendors on site.

The btl was amazing but the grilled sandwich with the added prosciutto was epic. Enjoyed the Japanese garden section the most. Also very shaded for later in the day. The mansion as of August (2026) has an incredible collection of paintings on loan from the Nashville Parthenon that's not to be missed. Then take stroll around the South side of the mansion under the wisteria and past the fountain and waterfall.

I first learned about free walking tours during my international travel. Now,  wherever I'm…read moretraveling to I always check to see if they have a tour.  Luckily, I was able to join an available tour for the downtown area on a Sunday morning. The day was cold and dreary, but I still had an amazing time. The tour guide, Paul, was excellent. He kept the tour entertaining and educational. Paul seemed very passionate about the history and culture of Nashville. The tour lasted a little over an hour, and at the end, he gave us suggestions and directions based on our interests. I loved his honesty on places he thought we would or wouldn't enjoy based on our interests.  These tours are a great way to meet other travelers while enjoying the major attractions.  Of course, the tours aren't completely free because guides do accept gratuity, which they truly deserve.

If you can request a server, ask for Emily. Food was amazing and seasoned to perfection. Hats off to the cooks and all their hardwork in the kitchen.
