I have traveled quite a few and have been to many dentists but this has to be one of my favorite offices thus far. Reasons- 1. Customer Service- The staff went above and beyond to assist me including helping me through the appointment and to my car with my infant daughter. 2. Benefits Coordinator- The coordinator sat down with me and explained services before proceeding with potential out of pocket costs. 3. Clean and Modern Office- No additional explanation needed. I highly recommend Dr. Lorenzo and the staff. I did not see the other dentist, therefore I don't have a review for him but the office is great! read more

I reached out on January 23rd with a simple request: schedule a visit for 2/2/26. I received an automated acknowledgment promising a follow‑up "shortly." Today is March 6, 2026, and no one has contacted me. Over a month of silence for a new patient inquiry is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of organization and respect for people's time. They scam and charge incorrectly. They originally wanted me to pay $1,600 (after insurance) for a bunch of random stuff. I asked them just to charge me for a regular cleaning. They charged me for a "deep cleaning" instead. When I called to complain about the charge they said they charged more because I had an infection. The first thing the dentist told me when she walked in the room was "well you look good because you don't have an infection". So they were trying to justify the charge with lies. Even if it was a deep cleaning, it would've lasted longer and I would've been sore after. So I got a regular cleaning and paid for a deep cleaning that i didn't get ($240). Don't come here read more

My experience was seamless and professional. The entire staff was friendly, professional and welcoming. The entire office was clean. I have agree with the one star reviews. They will get you in the seat and basically tell you your whole mouth is rotting and you NEED to do these expensive treatments. The doctor refused to do my regular cleanup pushed for a deep cleanup that is $300 that I "needed" because I apparently have periodontal disease. I go to the dentist regularly and have never even been diagnosed with Gingivitis. So to say I'm skeptical with his diagnosis is an understatement. He also offered to do a wisdom tooth extraction the same day which made me super uncomfortable since I only have mild discomfort in one of my wisdom teeth and he's not a oral surgeon. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Niurka at the front desk is the one that does the "plan" for your dental work! How is this place even open? Let me start by saying that they wanted to charge $1600 for services that my insurance already covers. Thankfully I overheard someone having concerns about the same thing I was already thinking... so I decided to call my insurance to truly find out what they cover. Come to find out they cover pretty much everything. These people also suggest $195 intensive cleaning which of course after hearing you may not have teeth tomorrow, I immediately paid with my eyes closed, again my insurance covers this type of cleaning as well. I drove to the office and spoke to Niurka at the front desk, this lady is by far the rudest woman I have met in my life. She basically lied to me the whole entire time about the cost which led me into calling the insurance right in front of her to get this resolved. What makes me sad about all this is that they are not even apologetic for lying. Could imagine how many people all this money perhaps when there insurance covers it? I will continue to take action to make sure that this does not happen to anyone. End Result - I called my bank to issue my refund the "cleaning" and will never return to this place! read more

Amazing experience at this office getting my wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Lina Alsad was super knowledgeable and professional and her nurses Valerie and Amber made me feel so comfortable during the whole process since I was super nervous. Not happy ! Brought our daughter for cleaning which should be anything between 90 and 120 usd . She was told she has gingivitis and needed extra laser treatment for 95 usd extra . It turns out the bill is over 360 usd because the prices we were given only apply if you have a dental plan with them (cost of extra 120 usd ) . Total lack of transparency. Then she is told she has an inlay and treatment will be additional 360 usd, if she has the dental plan . Right now we are not sure we believe she has an inlay just because we feel we are being mislead from the get go . If we had been told the cleaning alone was 240 usd ... we would not be here . Just make sure you ask for the costs twice in advance . Edit : While the other provided services are invoiced , the "dental plan" payment of 119 usd does not get invoiced and only a manual receipt is provided. I do not think this is normal or appropriate and seems very shady ! To me it smells like unreported cash under the table . read more

My experience was quite literally, the best experience I have ever had going to the dentist, and I really, really don't like going to the dentist, usually. I will go back to this dentist though, for all of my dental care. From the moment I walked through the door, and through the entire process, everyone I met was friendly and courteous, and professional. First and foremost, Jessica's malicious review is an obvious futile attempt from a competing office to embarrass its competitor. I have searched high and low for a dentist that delivers professionalism, expertise, and a gentle touch; that is exactly what Dr. Nelly Perez delivers. I would describe her as having the touch of an angel. Never being one to shy away from pain, it is quite the opposite when it comes to a dental visit- as I am sure most would agree. If I could put zero stars, I would. They are literally out for your money, diagnosed me for something I did NOT have(gingivitis) just to charge for a treatment that I did not need , told me it would basically eat out my teeth if I didn't get the laser treatment so I did it ‍ THEN went on to tell me I had a SEVEN cavities! And charged me $1,995 for EACH one(I have no dental insurance). Went in to fix a crown that fell out. The staff was very caring and efficient. The crown that another dentist put in only 2 years ago never really felt right. After looking at the x-rays the dentist noticed also that the other dentist left a part of my wisdom tooth in. I was so upset but they reassured me that they would take care of everything. The dentist is out for your money. She said I needed a crown and I had another dentist give me a second opinion since it seemed weird to me. Evidently, the second dentist told me I didn't need a crown and that I was being over treated to increase billings. Reading other reviews, it seems this is a common practice at this office. Lastly, on my visit, they tried to upsell me a $140 electric tooth brush and a $25 mouth wash. I think that you need to be very careful with this office because they will try to get the most billings out of you. read more

I will agree with most posts that say their very friendly and their office is clean. However I don't think they're very honest. I was told I need a scaling because at my age (30) this should be a regular thing. The procedure was $400 I found it really pricey but if that was what a professional in his field was recommending I went through with it and I paid $200 because I only did half my mouth - later went to another dentist and she said he was trying to rip me off. He told me a root canal I had done previously had an infection and I would need to extract the tooth and put a bridge as it was the best option. I went along with it not fully knowing what I was getting myself into. This office charged my dental insurance $5,595 for a bridge - my insurance covered $1,865, I gave them $1,000 and financed the $800 or $900 left thinking again this dentist had my best interest. When I started having pain one night I called him and he literally ran me off the phone. After that I was told my case was special, the temps provided at his office continued to fall off and recently cracked. I told them within a week of the extraction I no longer wanted the bridge because of all the issues I kept on having and wanted a refund and 2 months later I'm still waiting for the refund. I called my dental insurance and was advised they billed the entire procedure as if it was already done and I was told they weren't supposed to do that. I'm only writing this review because I'm a single mom putting myself through college and every penny I spend I count because I have a baby that depends on me and they literally snatched the purse and kept it moving. For some this might be ok but for those who want a genuine dentist who offers different alternatives not only the high priced ones that will bring him extra money please look somewhere else this place isn't it. Wish I can leave Zero Stars My appointment with Dr Nelly Perez was terrible to say the least Huge Cons (just a few): * This Dr diagnosed me with a mouth disease immediately after looking over my X-rays and pretty much said that this condition is permanent and is incurable, I was like what? * She never showed me where exactly what were the problems, and she only pointed to (X-rays), making me feel extremely concerned and confused the whole time. * She was rude and unprofessional to her staff that was helping me during the time. * I sensed that she rushed through the whole exam, and never asked me if I had any questions about what she was explaining. * My benefits covered a cleaning, and I didn't even get that offered to me during the visit. * With the care and attention that was provided to me, I felt more like a bank account than a person, not to mention that their prices were extremely outrageous in my opinion. Update: The next day I got a second opinion because I felt I needed one. The dentist that gave me my second evaluation, determined that I have no such disease or any signs of it whatsoever. I was blown away!! Plus, they were very surprised with the pricing that she was quoting, and the amount of "work" I needed, I felt truly disappointed with Dr Nelly Perez's evaluation. What's the end of the story? I'm never going back. I'm disgusted by how some doctors treat their patients. Stay away from this clinic, save yourself the money and time. Amazing staff. Tristan was amazing, as Well as the operations manager, and can't forget the sweet girl at the front desk today. I called this morning because I was in pain and every other dental office rejected me because it was so last minute. The young lady immediately told me that it was okay and that they will fit me in when I come. Dr. Perez was sweet and amazing. And she took her time. She naturally moves fast so it may come off as she's rushing you. But you can tell she's just always on the go and on the next and also doesn't want to keep you sitting forever. Prices are a little up there depending on what you need. My bill is sky high. But in all honesty, I can't complain because my mouth is a mess and that's my fault. The staff was friendly. But I wish I had read these reviews before I went. First time I left after X-rays because they hadn't verified my insurance as they were supposed to. They had weeks to do that. Went back for a cleaning, Made me wait a FULL 60 minutes, Dr. comes in and tells me I have gum disease, I say, I just want a regular cleaning, he first said he didn't recommend it. I said , you don't recommend cleaning my teeth? He said it wont fix all of my problems. He said regular cleanings "were only for teenagers!!!!!" Interesting since my last dentist I saw earlier THIS year (I just moved here) didn't think twice about regularly cleaning my teeth and did not seem to think I had anything close to periodontal disease. So this guy basically refused to clean my teeth. Finally, he said he COULD but I'd have to sign a waiver... waiver? Waiver for WHAT? That I wanted my teeth brushed? My god man.. Let me start by saying that the staff here is amazing and the service is wonderful !!! Why the 1 star rating? One thing I do notice, is that the doctor tries to push additional services that are not covered by insurance. One of those being scaling and root planing. They explain the difference between a deep dental cleaning vs a regular cleaning. A deep cleaning is a treatment procedure that requires anesthesia and several follow up visits. But I refused this because its very high out of pocket cost, so the doctor refuse to clean my teeth.... its like if you refuse to do a crowning they wont treat you... that's how I took it.... it feels like the doctor tries to push additional services that are very costly. I never had this happen before, so I will be taking my family to another dentist.... I just can't believe that if I don't do something that is not covered by insurance, the dentist refuses to do any common treatment..... read more

My first time at a new dentist, I have to say I was a bit apprehensive after going to the same dentist for about 9-10 years. After moving I needed to find a new dentist office that would be closer to my home. I heard about west pines modern dentistry through their internal marketing and decided to try it out. I was very pleased with the staff and their level of friendliness and professionalism. I was constantly being asked if I was comfortable or needed anything. I work in the hospitality business so it's safe to say that i know all about what it takes to have quality people representing your brand. The Doctor, The X-ray tech, The Hygienist, The office Manager and Benefits Coordinator all took time to introduce themselves and explain anything I asked about. I wish I remembered everyone's name to be able to thank them more directly. I'd definitely recommend this Dentist office. Friendly, professional, patient & educated are all words that come to mind when I left this practice. read more

Horrible dentist that doesn't listen and over charges. Called them up because I chipped a tooth, made an appointment and came in, signed in, got xrays, all the usual stuff, when it come to the dentist she ask why I'm there and I inform her about the chipped tooth and how I want it repaired and that's it because I'm on a budget and in between insurance, and she said its fine then starts pointing out all these issues and tells me it's within my budget to get this other super tiny cavity fixed and get this new cleaning tool to clean up my teeth and gums, so I agree and she does a normal cleaning then she has an assistant polish then individually then she lasers them for some new gum issue they know about or something then she goes in and drills half my tooth off and starts drilling into my nerve, a pain that apparently that numbing shot doesn't cover, so obvioisly she stops and informs me I have to see a specialist because I need a root canal and their office doesn't do those, for a tiny cavity I didn't even notice, not to mention she didn't even touch the tooth I originally came in about, she sticks this "temporary cap" over her destruction of my perfectly good tooth and sends me home after showing me the bill that's now five times what my budget allowed so now I get to make monthly payments to a dentist that didn't help me and in fact ruined a different tooth entirely. Don't go here they will only find a reason to over charge you for things your don't even need and not listen to a thing you say or that you do need. read more

This is on behalf of my husband. He was so excited to go when he was informed that they would accept his insurance and was so close to home. The dentist was very friendly and told him she could take care of whatever he needed. However, he went for a cleaning and she said he needed a 'deep' cleaning for extra cost. He agreed but she only did a regular cleaning and didn't even bother to polish his teeth but she charged extra. Then she started listing everything he needed. Replace a fairly new bridge ( nothing wrong with it), replace a crown saying he would need a root canal to do it. She gave him a quote of almost $8000 for all the work that is totally unneeded and then said she would do it for half price. He even asked her if he was financing her new office. I cant believe I even came to this place. I would give 0 stars if I could. I came in due to a really bad cavity I was having a lot of pain with, they did the usual x rays and picture. They said I needed a root canal, which that is fine cuz I know I was gna end up needing that. BUT then they point out many other things I needed. Which i didnt ask for. Telling me I had some bone disease that wont be able to get cured. Telling me I needed to get a root canal, fill in 2 other cavities I had, deep cleaning, extract all 4 of my wisdom teeth and also needed a retainer to sleep with. I was overwhelmed with all the information. They took me to the women who deals with payments and the women tells me its 5,740 dollars!!!! wtf. so I told her I wanted to just deal with one thing at a time. She kept telling me to just do it all at once and i'll just do a payment plan for 5 years. I was vulnerable, I had a lot of tooth pain and THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. I felt like I was in a car dealership. I was an idiot to accept a loan to pay it but I have been in a mission to try to cancel this loan. After i signed some papers they said they were gna fill my tooth that was causing me pain for now until i get the root canal. but they also filled 2 of my other cavities without my consent just cuz I was already sitting on that chair filling the affected tooth.
