Let me start off by saying, I know I work in one of the BEST Dental practices on the planet, but sitting in the chair as a patient today showed me a side of our office I luckily don't get to experience too often. I've been working here for 22 years and sing their praises every chance I get. Today was different, because I needed to have a tooth extracted... a tooth that has had 3 previous root canals. It was fractured and infected. Dr Johnson started the extraction today and it wasn't an easy one, but she's amazing and agreed to it for me. She got me comfortable and made me feel at ease, as I was nervous and anxious. Along the way it became apparent that I would need to go see the oral surgeon to complete the extraction. The tooth was factured to the gum line and 3 roots were hopelessly stuck in the bone.... but Dr Austein said he would take a look, give it a try. I was hopeful, but realistic. From the moment he came into the room, he transformed from "general Dentist" to " Oral Sureon". He removed all three root with extreme confidence and care.... constantly asking how I was doing. He performed with such grace and confidence, and completed the extraction, both effortlessly and painlessly. I'm writing this review because I can honestly say I'm proud, honored and grateful to say that I work alongside these extremely talented individuals. Let's not forget the dental assistants and staff, who were cheering me on and providing the doctors with whatever they needed. I have 22 years of faith and trust in this practice, but today I can help honestly say i was lucky to have this group of professionals care for me. read more

I recently switched over to West Ridgewood dental. The staff is exceptional! I had the best cleaning of my life from Hygenist Christina Vozzo. Dr. Austein is wonderful. Thorough, patient, and caring are just a few of his exceptional qualities. He explains everything and checks on you to see if you have any discomfort. He called me as well the next day after a procedure! That never happened in all the years I was at my old dentist. I am totally comfortable and confident in his work! My loved ones has transferred to the Ridgewood place and were actually called on this page by yet another household. I could possibly not have access to requested a greater expertise. Your office is available and attractive. That they had ipads from the hanging around place, a major species of fish aquarium and televisions from the roof for your kids to observe whilst getting their pearly whites checked out. My 3 yo is pretty the small number however the dental office was affected individual and soft with him. I'm happy together with the place of work and may absolutely revisit. read more

I had to get my first 5 cavities filled as a 19 year old and was TERRIFIED. After two separate appointments with Dr. Austein, I am now cavity-free and very relieved to have had a great experience having my teeth drilled! I had the nitrous gas put to a level to calm me down, and during the treatment, had the funniest conversation with the Doctor and his lovely assistant! We talked about their pets and music, and even our spirit animals, making it an all-around enjoyable time. For anyone with anxiety about having dental work done, I highly recommend Dr. Austein!! read more

It is strange to think of a dentist's office as warm and caring, but this one is. From start to finish you are treated with courtesy, respect and caring . From the front office to the hygienists, to the dentists, there is a very light and happy mood. They really really like what they are doing! As a result, the patient is relaxed. Dr. Miner has retired, but Dr Perruzzi and Dr. Austein are both excellent. (I don't know Dr. Johnson). If I had to give them a grade, it would be A+ read more

I have been a patient at West Ridgewood Dental for over 3 years. First as an invisalign patient and now as a regular patient with Dr. Josh Austein. He is one of the most caring dentists that I have ever been to. He explains what he is doing to do, how he is going to do the procedure and what you will feel. Our children have been going to West Ridgewood Dental Professionals for almost 10 years. The entire staff is wonderful and the dental professionals are very skilled. Dr. Perruzzi is clearly the best. He is meticulous and also an artist at work. I wish I had this done years ago. My daughter came home for Thanksgiving and said "Your teeth look great!" She is my greatist critic. He is a pearl in Ridgewood. read more
