Good job to Lou for This is a big and solid mall with all kinds of options and choices and they're not too bad in general, but they do have a few issues on the other hand, such as a lot of very rude drivers and a lot of the stores closing down and some bad traffic, and it can be really hard getting in and out of some of these parking lots because of the awful traffic. It's designed well but probably not for all the large volume of people that comes in and out of this area. I do however like it around here and there is a great boba shop and Vietnamese restaurant here that I like a lot.

I work nearby. So, I come here fairly often to dine, shop, run errands and have desserts. Starts from southeast side of mall, they got Panera Bread, Sally Beauty, Marble Slab Creamery, Kublai Khan Mongolian, Lane Bryant, Sport Clips, Nails Club and Bath & Body Works. Hop over the driveway to another building starts with Party City, Payless Shoe Source, Five Below, Famous Footwear, Old Navy, Ross Store, Pet Smart, Northern Tools and K&G Fashion. There are 2 buildings in the front to house Chipotle, Mattress Firm and Visionworks in one and Brew Wings and Verizon Wireless in another. There are few vacancies. I hope they bring more restaurants here. Highway 290 construction is completed and traffic is getting much smoother than ever.

I think my mission is nearly complete…read more This is a super cute mall which is a little bit unheralded, because it's across from Katy Mills and most people just go there, and I don't think most people come over here at all, of course we do though. It's clean and nice and has a cool Russian grocery store, and some little places that we like to check out now and then. I definitely give it a four star rating, even though the road next to it is really annoying for getting in and out.

I like coming down here for all kinds of great Latin food, Honduran stuff in particular, and my gym is here as well. And it just does a great job. Both the gym and the plaza. I have been coming here for a long (point) time and will hopefully continue to do so in the future. Especially for food and the gym, but in general for everything. Great area and very busy and bright and popular strip mall.

As I've said before, this is a pretty awesome plaza right off of the Interstate 10 Highway on the North side which is also known as the Katy freeway. It's almost directly across from the Memorial City Mall and has a bunch of cool stores in it where me and Barbi go all the time. The HEB is why she usually comes here, great Nordstrom Rack, great Academy, awful Five Guys. Awful Olive Garden too. So don't come here to eat - ew. Loses one star only because the drivers and parking here can suck so much and the light to turn in off Bunker Hill is so weak. Not to be confused with Vajayjay Pleasure, which is kinda why Barbi dates me.

According to Fidelis leasing office website, this mall sits on 45 acres of land and the store took a title of The Busiest Store In The State of Texas. How does 126,000 square foot store sound to you? I'm very lucky to shop here after work as the rest of mall already closed. Yeah, there are over 50 businesses at Village Plaza at Bunker Hill and it's like a shopping town by itself. I could spend all day here. I like the convenience to Katy freeway and Beltway. Weekends are the busiest to come around here. That's why I choose to shop on weekdays and not during evening commute hours. The parking was kind of hectic during the busy holiday season. Psst, Chuy's Tex-Mex restaurant just opened http://www.memorialdistrict.org/blog/chuy%E2%80%99s-here this month. It makes me wanna try something different. I already love my latenight eatery at Denny's restaurant and daytime refreshing Which Wich sandwich shop.

With that established, I'm not entirely certain what type or style of table I seek. Height's Common Market is chock-a-block full of furniture. It runs the gamut. Chairs, couches, lamps, beds, and yes tables of all varieties. All relatively inexpensive, but some pieces run a little pricey. From the exterior, it looks like an old flea market. The kind with rows of stalls, sawdust floors, and cantankerously old stall-minders. A place where you are convinced you'll find that mint condition, limited release record or the long lost pocket watch from The Gift of the Magi. Instead of finding that magical item, you go through each stall only to find ugly ceramic figurines of unicorns or dolphins. Thankfully, inside The Common Market, it's quite different. Lots of quality and a few "magically perfect" finds here. If looking for used furniture, this should definitely be one of your stops. The main room is a huge warehouse packed to the gills with furniture. Along one side there are a few rooms (watch your step up) with lamps, chairs, or a work room/repair shop. I never found the table I sought, however I'm closer on my path. I may venture back in a few weeks and find what I seek.

Every size, shape and thickness imaginable... but you can always have the piece re-sized for your needs. HCM always has, what looks to me, a lot of matching furniture that comes from closing businesses. (Think bank or hotel lobby.) So the durability and quality is there, but sometimes the look is... well, not. As for the non-business-looking stuff... most of it is awesome. You'll find ready to use furnishings as well as unique fixer-uppers. You can find bolts of fabric, both attractive and hideous, with which you can recover the lobby chairs! HCM is also a great place to find lamps and lamp shades, perfect for revamping according to your latest issue of DIY magazine. Word of advice: The more stuff you buy, Mr. A is more likely to cut you a great deal. Nothing is priced, so you'll have to ask the cost of anything you're interested in. Do NOT pay the first price he says. Find something else you like - 2 or 3 things, even if they're tiny knick knacks- and make an offer below his quote including both the little stuff & whatever he priced. Greenway plaza is filled with business buildings all around. It's a great area to work at with…read moretraffic that isn't too bad. I would say that it's better than most areas in Houston. The atmosphere is pretty chill here. Mirror walls and fountains created a nice scenery. It's very well kept. Each building has its own speciality. Plaza 3, 4, and 5 are connected through concourse with a food court. It gets pretty busy around lunch since that's when everyone comes down to get lunch. There is Burger-chan, Feges BBQ, Cilantro, Alonti, Rice Box, and etc. It's also connected to the Double Tree Hilton Hotel with a Starbucks. Parking is a bit tricky, but just follow the signs for visitors parking -$2 per hour. The building might seem confusing if you don't work here, but most of the buildings are connected or there is short-cut to get to them. On days with good weather, eating outside feels great with overlooking the fountains. They have plenty of outdoor tables near building 8 and 9.
