Went to west side car wash and found it to be a diamond in the not so rough! My kids have used it before I had decided to do it, and I loved it, they did the best wash on my truck! I wish all the guys that were there then, must be the magic group, for I found NO mistakes, at all! I went 3 more different times, and,it was always a "job well done"! And that makes me happy, so for anyone out there anyone at all, bring your mode of transportation and your desire to have it shine, Good Luck, but you really don't need it, they run a tight ship, which means sparkling clean vehicle. I have heard a lot of people say this is the best car wash in the area but I have to disagree. When i asked for "the works" I didn't get that because the guy wasn't even going to put on the tire product until I said something to him. Then they also didn't even clean the windows thoroughly so there are still some smears from my puppy on the window. Also, some of the outside was not wiped off in between the mirror and the window and it still look dirty. That was my recent experience. Lol. I took my van to get detailed there a few years ago and they messed up the leather on one of my armrest and when I called back to tell them about it they made no apologies nor did they try to rectify the situation at all. I was very upset. I have had my van detailed several times before and never had this happen. So, if you really don't care about them doing a thorough job and want to take the chance on them messing up your leather, then you can take your vehicle here. read more

Horrible service. I paid for the $21.00 car wash. My car mats was wet and not placed back correctly and they did not wipe down the inside. When I went to arrange the floor mats, I discovered they did not vacuum the rug. I refuse to return. read more

They broke the key to my 2012 Honda Odyssey. I spoke with the owner about it. He went to talk to the driver and the driver told him he turned the key and it fell apart in his hand. REALLY. You have to be kidding me. First the person who said the key fell apart in his hand never bothered to notify us. They just parked the van on the side of the building and said it was done. My wife found it when she got in to start it up. That means 2 people, the person who drove it out of the car wash and the person who parked it after it was wiped off touched the key but neither felt the need to mention the key had been broken. I told the owner if he didn't want to do anything to fix the issue I'll start going somewhere else. My son was still getting his car done and he observed the owner trying to make excuses saying the car was old. Who has ever had a key fob break on them on a 4 year old car. break on them. This is the second key that has been broken by this car wash. I refuse to ever come back. read more

So...I had an eventful and kind of frightening day today. We decided to take the car to the car wash while we were up there. We went over to Westside Car Wash in Dover and proceeded to pull in to wait. The line wasn't too long. We were waiting in the line of cars, slowly pulling up when the cars in front of us did. There were two lanes, but there weren't very many cars, so the left lane was empty. After several minutes, we had pulled up a little past the merge of the two lanes when a truck pulled up in the left hand lane. He signaled for my husband to roll down his window. The guy in the truck proceeded to tell my husband that it was his turn to go next. My husband was telling him that we had been waiting in the line for several minutes. The man said that these were alternating lanes, and he was going to pull in front of us. My husband explained that we were next to go, and he had just pulled up, so he could go behind us because we had already pulled behind the car. The guy proceeds to get out, and pull a trash can in front of us, so he can go around us, and we can't move. I get out of the car and move the trashcan, and pull it over to the side it came from and instructed my husband to just go, and I would get back in the car after he pulled up. The guy proceeds to pull his truck up close to me and gets out screaming. My husband opens the car window and starts yelling back at the guy (Anyone who knows my husband knows how mild mannered he is. In the million years we have been together, I only have seen him get angry and have heated words with someone once in public). The guy is coming at my husband in the car and my husband gets out. The guy is continuing to yell at my hubby, and my hubby is saying, "I wish you would try to hit me." I'm not sure at this point what the guy is saying because my seven year old son is out of the car screaming for my husband to get back in the car because the guy was scaring him, and I was screaming for everyone to get in the car. My husband gets back in the car, and the guy tells the young guy working there to not let us go, and that he is going next. I say to the young guy, you saw us sitting there next, I don't know what is wrong with this guy and why he is acting this way. I said to him can you please just let us go because we have been sitting here just waiting our turn when out of nowhere this all happens (at this point there were cars behind us, and the guy was getting out of control). The young guy looked at me and said, "I know you were waiting and were next, but I don't really know what to do because that guy is the owner." WHAT THE FREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me????????????? I couldn't even believe this was happening. Would someone who owned a business really act like this and to a customer? I was in shock! Then, he proceeds to box our car in with planters and trash cans, and direct cars behind us to go around us. I put down my window and say to the young guy, "Are you serious?" Something is wrong with him. Why would he act like this?" The guy was on my husband's side of the car and couldn't hear me. He then comes over to our car and luckily I had locked the doors because he proceeds to pull on our door handle and hit our window. I couldn't believe our door handle didn't break. He didn't do it once, but kept trying to pull on it over and over out of control. I tell the kid out the window that I was calling the police, and proceeded to dial 911. The owner then started yelling he was calling the police and backed away. I felt sorry for the 911 operator because at this point I was hysterical saying, "Something is wrong with this guy. You have to send someone. I don't know what he is going to do next." The police come and talk to him and take our statement. I am still in shock about this whole situation. The police said if he would of damage the car or physically touched one of us, then we could have pressed charges; but there was nothing they could do. I told the officers that it is a shame that he can get away with doing something like this. I honestly could not even believe the way this man acted. The police kept apologizing for what we had to go through. They told us we should make sure that we give our business to someone else, and report our experience. I plead to everyone...do not use this car wash. We should not give business to someone who not only treats their customers like this but actually thinks it is okay to behave this way at all. read more
