My condition required a 5 day hospitalization. Prior to seeing Dr, Kirk I had seen a different MD because Kirk Eye Center was closed. That MD minimized my concern and misdiagnosed my condition. When I saw Dr. Kirk he listened to my concern and did a thorough examination. In addition to being an excellent clinician, he has a very good bedside manner. I've recently had cataract removal in both eyes and now have excellent vision without glasses. Again he took the time to determine the type of activities I am involved in to make a recommendation for the type of lens to insert. The procedures were absolutely pain free even though I just received a sublingual anesthetic . I highly recommend Dr. Kirk.

I felt so bad for her because she constantly rubbed her eyes and couldn't see very well. This went on for years so when I took her to the Doctor, I ask why she had to come back every month and wanted to know what her problem was. They just walked away and would't answer me. I was referred to take her to Panton eye center so I made an appointment. Her first visit I was told that my mother was in a lot of pain and needed to be put into the hospital to have surgery. A few days after the surgery, first thing my mother said was 'my eyes don't hurt and I can see.' It was such a excellent experience for my mom that I won't go anywhere else because these Doctors are the best. I love the fact that when I call for an appointment, the staff is very effiencent in making sure I had all the information in advance of what they needed and of course checked to make sure my insurance would cover there services before I schedule an appointment. I decided to write this because I want someone who is seriously looking for a great Doctor to know you have found one. I have another appointment tomorrow and was looking up the address and couldn't believe some of these reviews. They have nothing to do with how good the Doctors are which surprises me that they are considered reviews. I can't believe anyone would think that they can walk into a doctors offfice and think that the Doctor that is waiting for his first client, that has an appointment, would see them on the spot. It takes more than 15 minutes to see the Doctor. Then the patient that has an appointment will have to wait and so on. Thats why its called an appointment. I can honestly say, you will walk away with the best care and professional service you could possibly receive. Before any of you decide to write a review for anyone give yourself a day to think about it. Remember what comes around goes around and we all have bad days. There were signs posted on the plexiglass at the reception desk, such that you could not see who you were talking to, so that was also weird. The technician and optometrist were really nice though. Even though my appointment started 10 minutes late, they were quick and efficient and I was able to get out of there within the hour. I paid for parking, since it was unclear whether the spots behind the building were available for customers to use. I don't know if I'd come back only because I'd rather be able to walk to appointments over driving, but would recommend in terms of how easy it was.
