absolute scam pricing ! Horrible service! horrible service! they lose and ruin clothes and curtains along with made up pricing that they let you know at the end when ur forced to pay it. I not recommend ! avoid at all costs! I was completely ripped off and they take advantage of people who dont know or are busy or whoever they think they can get away with doing so. Disgusting business practices! This witnessed and experienced first hand from the owner engaging and these tactics just horrible it's a shame because they have really nice employees working there but an awful owner who think it's OK to rip people off ! Complete scam charging people obscenely high prices for dry cleaning and not letting them know what the prices/costs will be before they go and dry clean it !!! They wait till after its done then tell u how much u owe. so you're forced to pay it. My partner brought in heavily soiled curtains to be dry cleaned due to a new puppy who some reason loved peeing on these curtains (the puppy was a nightmare to potty train) so these curtains were peed on at the bottoms of the curtains bad yellow stains gross i know. Now these curtains we bought on Wayfair for $700 for 12 panels they were french pleat and Are used with motor draping system. So he drops them off to drying place the owner is the one to help him and says I don't know if I can get all the stains my boyfriend says OK try the best and the owner says will let you know. now we're thinking it's gonna be standard dry cleaning price as listed why would it be any different. Now it takes two 1/2 months to clean them we have waited forever to get them back and yes they're clean the stains removed however it cost a little over $1000 to dry cleaning these curtains!!! now if we had known it was gonna cost that much ! More then what the curtains actually cost to buy brand new, we would've never done it. We would've bought brand new curtains and thrown out those ones keeping in mind they were Peed on . which would have been the better option for us to just get brand new ones that would cost less money then what we had to pay to clean them. Why would u pay more to dry clean curtains then what we actually paid for them especially when there easy to buy with lots in stock at wayfair.com. unfortunately that's not the only bad thing! you think that would be enough but no there's more. So on top of all of that we get back the curtains and the little weights at the bottom of the curtains, half the amount of these little weights have been ripped out from the curtain pocket that they are sewn into. nightmare! so we bring them back and say what the heck how did you not notice this Damage of the ripped fabric of where the weights use to be and where are they and how can you give it back to us like this? they moan and grown act like they're doing us some kind of favor and say that they'll fix it ! I'd like to hope so thinking to myself they did cause the damage and missing weights. Now this takes another couple months to fix ! When we get them back we noticed instead of them finding where our curtains weights were and using our curtains weights that were made for it ! we see that they replaced them with some makeshift crappy ghetto ones all different sizes and shapes and heaviness the worst and crap ultra shitty sew job they should be ashamed of. THEN had the nerve to say we won't charge you for this!!!!!!!!! like are you kidding me the nerve of them to say something like that to us on an issue they caused and made us wait a crazy amount of time for. And last but at least they had pressed out fold to the French plate which is actually really important especially seeing how these curtains are put on a motor draping system and these folds are put there purposely to help the drape fold into itself behind a wall with how they've dry clean them removing those important folds in the fabric now putting too much weight and friction on the draping system taxing the motor and now we hear our motor going for draping system they inevitably broken our motorized draping system. So I'm saying sarcastically thanks a lot Lionsgate West Van dry cleaners you have wasted my time energy money and I have lost a little more faith in humanity because people like you. And lionsgate dry cleaners If you wanna saying something silly like we weren't customers or you have no idea what we're talking about I will edit this post and add our receipt and add photos of your horrible makeshift stitching and weights and how are drapes looked before and how they look after so spare of that embarrassment of our photo evidence and own your mistake ! In May, 2012, they charged me $63 to clean 3 pieces - a light weight jacket, and a levi top and bottom. I told them they were charging me more to clean the pieces than I paid for one of them, and that they are a total rip off. They didn't care. read more
