She listened patiently as I described all of my symptoms and checked my eyes thoroughly after the dilation procedure. Luckily, the diagnosis wasn't as bad as I had feared. I'm not completely out of the woods yet (need to go back for a follow-up), but the outcome could have been much worse, so I'm extremely thankful for that. Dr. Yeh was very informative and took the time to address all of my concerns. I've now seen both Dr. Chiam and Dr. Yeh here at Sigma, and I can't say enough good things about them... they are seriously awesome! The front desk / main room staff was also super friendly and helpful as I browsed their selection of glasses after the appointment. It's just a great experience overall every time we stop by. My prescription is still not correct,…read moreI have been charged both times I went in (I guess they do not guarantee their services) even though the set of contact lenses they got for me never fit my left eye properly, caused a burst blood vessel, then two weeks later when I tried the contacts again, I ended up with two blood clots that both burst. They do not stand behind their product, do not take ownership of ANYTHING, and have the audacity to charge a ridiculous amount of money to have the doctor even check that the prescription he ordered for you actually works for you. I have already sunk over $200 (they tried to charge another $75 when I picked up the second pair of trial lenses) and received nothing but a problem I've NEVER had with my left eye and STILL an improper prescription. I am currently looking for a good eye doctor in Surrey or Langley to fix this fiasco. By the way, the customer service girl I have now dealt with twice, attempted to lecture me on how much the doctor's time costs to order me a pair of trial lenses (which they get for free). She has not been educated on what customer service actually means. I don't fault the young, ignorant and rude employee. I fault the company that continues to reward her for her terrible lack of ability and obviously providing no proper training. I will NEVER go back to this place.

I was also able to get an eye exam done ($85.00) which was lightning quick. It only took 10-15 minutes to do all the tests and checkups. The optometrist (Dr. Johal) is available for appointments every other Saturday. As for selection, there's all the high end brand names you could want: Ray Ban, Oakley, Gucci, Hugo Boss, etc. If there's something you specifically want that's not on display, Winnie can order it in for you. Her customer service is amazing plus she has a great eye for what frames work well with your face shape. I don't wear glasses much but she was able to find me a pair that I liked (and most importantly, will actually wear). Great service, knowledge and easy payment (billed directly). I'll be back again.

ZERO Stars...This Port Moody Eye care Centre was the worst experience I've ever had with Dr. Yee…read moreand Her terrible staff. Why? 1) The eye test was completely incorrect based on my new eye test at another clinic. 2) Trying to get reimbursement for the charge to my medical plan was a battle with the horrible women at this centre. I had to return a second time to this Eye Centre and insist they credit my Blue Cross Plan. My new Optometrist informed me there was not credit to my medical plan, therefore I had to pay out of hand to redo my eye test correctly. 3) New optometrist redid the eye test, informed me that I had a fungal infection on both eye / lashes. It cost me $200. for the medicated drops, fungal pads and eye pads and the cost of the eye test because of this horrible Port Moody Eye Care Centre. This led to NO COVERAGE. 4) The volatility of two of the receptionists from Port Moody with rolling of eyes, denial that the credit didn't go through and refusal to acknowledge is typical of Port Moody businesses that lack customer services these days. I will be calling Blue Cross to determine if the credit has been applied to my plan? Avoid this terrible company and save yourselves the Grief.

This was all done very quickly, and I was out the door maybe 20 minutes (or maybe a bit longer) after walking in: I didn't have to wait for a long time after the tests to see Dr. Purewal, and she was quick and efficient, while leaving me with the impression of caring and professionalism. I got my prescription without being pressured to try on their frames - though I was asked if i wanted to take a look. Overall great service, and I absolutely plan to go back when I'm due for my next appointment.

I was considering buying a new pair of glasses but the CSR was so clueless in her communication with potential customers that I don't want to invest so much money into what is clearly an incompetent customer service. I previously have gone into Performance for a glasses readjustment and this same CSR did it completely incorrectly. So, needless to say, Performance Optical won't be getting my business. They might want to reconsider their customer service staff and get someone a little more clued in.

I wanted contacts for so long & was always told I couldn't have them because of my issue. I went to Lifetime Eyecare & they told me what was really wrong with my vision and hooked me up with contacts. I could not be happier. They don't mind when you ask a million questions & never make you feel rushed. I had to go through 5 pairs of contacts to find the right ones.
