I'd been wanting to visit The Hidden Pig for a while and was glad that I got the chance. It was a fun brunch, with good music and chill vibes. It's cute inside, but the seating is wicked uncomfortable. Service was great and overall, we enjoyed everything. My espresso martini was good. The bacon board is a must order and the bacon-shallot jam is addictive. I ordered the chicken and waffles and appreciated the bacon waffle and bacon butter. I liked it, but once I saw my cousin's sandwich, wish I had ordered that. I tried some of her tots, which were delicious. We did have a great time here and in general, I love Haverhill, so I hope to return. read more

YOU GIVE ME PIG! (Anybody ever seen that Jose Canseco movie Mail Order Wife?) The HP is right on the main strip in downtown Haverhill. This place is sneaky good. In order of best to least: 1. Pork Belly!! Large pieces, cooked perfectly and ABSOLUTELY PIGGLY WIGGLY DELICIOUS! Whatever they are using to season this- they have made great decisions. 2. Loaded tots- all about that beer cheese! It tasted so delicious smothered in that cheese! 3. Brussel Sprouts- Again smothered in that cheese but other flavors colliding together. Highly suggest ordering these as well. 4. Onion rings- not too thick and cooked perfectly. 5. Bacon Mac and cheese- not creamy. Over priced. This needs a lot of work. 6. Donuts- the whipped Oreo topping was tasty but the donuts lacked flavor. Dry even. Big disappointment for me. They have a few things to work on but overall they are on the right track. I really like the variations on the burgers, sandwiches, and fries, definitely lots of good choices. And the bartender/our server was nice and really quick with the drinks. The only thing that was a little iffy is how slow the food service is with not that many people in the restaurant. For drinks we got Irish coffee (very warm and nice on a cold rainy day) and a cranberry mule. Definitely strong pours. And for appetizer got the fried pickles. The sauce is good, but the pickles were definitely too salty for me, but my bf liked them. For entree we got the pork belly Reuben but substituted to be on a baguette and a Gold Chicken Sanger. I thought they were both really yummy, nice tender meat, definitely good choices. I think I preferred the Ruben. Overall, I thought this place was really cute, lots of tvs playing sports if you're into that, and pretty solid food, albeit on the heavier side. read more

To start off the service was great. We had a reservation and they allowed us to change tables without much of a hassle when previously showed our original table. They exemplified excellent customer service the whole meal. Now for the food... we ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese and it was pleasant. I'd say 7/10. I ordered the burger with the hash brown patty and egg. I requested medium rare, but when the burger came out it was over well done. Very burnt. The fries were decent. Overall 5/10. My wife ordered the street tacos and the chicken was bland but the pulled pork taco was decent overall 6/10. We ordered the pork fried rice to go and honestly it was also bland. The pork belly didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall 5.5/10. Now for the donuts..... they were all as hard as a rock. Inedible. Not sure how that passed the revolving door at all. 0/10. Made reservations for a large table two weeks in advance and they were able to accommodate which I appreciate. Sampled the cheese curds, burnt ends, and bacon crab Rangoon. If you only could pick one, cheese curds is the way to go, though burnt ends are a close second. For my meal, had the fancy pants burger with tots and was very happy with the meal. I was too full off of the apps to enjoy much of the burger there, but made for great leftovers. One issue that I had with dining here was one of the crab Rangoons was completely empty. I told the waiter and had asked for a replacement (since we ordered another round of crab rangoons) and they replied wow, I've never seen that before. When the next order came out, unfortunately there were only the normal amount. For $13 an order for four crab rangoons, I would have hoped that they could have addressed the missing filling (or a slight discount on the check). I am a little disappointed that nothing was done, but am trying to give benefit of the doubt to a busy day/newer server. read more

My partner and I chose to order online, and I originally selected an item that had dairy in it, when I had flagged my dairy allergy in the special requests section. Within 5 mins of placing the order, a hostess called me back, explained that the item I chose had dairy in it, and walked me through selecting a non-dairy item and modified our order so I wouldn't get sick. She was super patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. I tried the 3 little pigs taco combo and it was excellent, even without the dairy. I got the corn beef, bacon inside the "got buns hun" cinnamon roll, egg, and cinnamon French toast. So good. My friend got the pork belly Benny. If you love bacon you'll be in heaven.
