Found this good sized local coffee shop and deli on the way through 'downtown' old Boxford. Been back twice already! The Reuben is great! The Mexican Bowl is great too! There a a few good looking selections on the menu and as specials that I have to get back and try. The breakfast and brunch selections all look good. Service and tables are quick and great. Parking is easy in the private lot.

Dinner at Boxford Community Kitchen- it's a family run restaurant located in a community building. They have a good amount of dine-in seating, the service was great. Our server was so sweet and hospitable, and briefly talked about the history of the restaurant and the family who owns it. The restaurant is mainly takeout but they are going to begin providing beer and wine for those who would like to go in sit and eat, and drink . I ordered the ziti chicken/broccoli with Alfredo sauce, yum! The hubby ordered a white pizza with ricotta, tomato, spinach, so good! And I had tiramisu as well, perfect size. Luckily this place is near us and we'll definitely visit again!

Not many eating spots in Boxford, but there's an eatery within the community store. Good for carry out. Friendly staff. I got a meatball sandwich that was pretty good!

Delicious food, always fresh, always quality and happy to support a local family run business! Highly recommend the rice bowls and salads! So delicious!

When you walk in, the place is beautiful- sort of modern rustic chic with beautiful string lights. We ordered mussels and wine to start. Mussels were fantastic. Meaty, flavorful and plenty for everyone. The entree is where it fell short for me. I got the shrimp pasta. While the flavor was there, when I cut into the shrimp they still looked pretty translucent to me. After eating one and cutting up a few others, I felt that they were undercooked. The waitress said they wouldn't cook them more but she could bring the plate back and ask if they were cooked through. My plate came back and I was told they were cook so I sat there pushing soft, nasty shrimp around my plate while just eating spaghetti. My boyfriend asked for a medium burger and it was definitely rare to medium rare. When this happens, generally you offer to bring out new protein cooked again or ask if the guest wants something else but I was just left to feel like I was nuts. Whatever, into dessert. Now for dessert, I thought we'd try the cookies and ice cream. cookies were completely raw ( not just soft) and also not hot and the ice cream on the plate looked like it was pre scooped and refrozen. While I loved the concept of this place. Relaxing getaway where you can just do it all onsite, I honestly would spare yourselves the experience of the restaurant or order fish and chips or fried chicken) and just dine in Newburyport.

I have lived all over the US & even outside of it, but there will always be a soft spot for this area. In the 80s, my mom used to take my tiny self into a local craft shop within this building. Our family went bowling in the old school bowling alley out back (& seems to still be there). We watched Fourth of July parades along this street. I went to elementary and middle school nearby. The area has changed a little but I can still see the beautiful town I grew up in. I was excited to see this picturesque and unique tea shop during my nostalgic trip "home". I haven't walked along Main Street since the late 90s. On the day of my visit, it was a blustery fall day and the rain had just started to fall. My mom, husband and I met Susie, the owner, who warmly welcomed us. We chatted while she prepared our drinks. Loved hearing her story of how she came to own this amazing shop. I could have spent a whole afternoon here easily if I didn't have more places to visit. I ordered an Americano, which was smooth and subtle. I'm quite used to strong espresso so this was a little too mellow for my preference, but I truly enjoyed it on this day. My mom ordered a ginger tea, which warmed her up on a chilly afternoon. This would be such a great gathering spot with friends or to host an event in. Hopefully I'll be able to return soon & pay Hatters another visit.

On my first visit, I had a breakfast sandwich, and when I placed my order with the barista behind the counter, she asked for my name so that the guy on the grill in the kitchen could call me when my order was ready. Same thing the next morning. And on the third morning, I was greeted by name. She remembered me! That's really good customer service. The baked goods really are first rate. I was only able to sample a few but my guess is that everything on display is amazing. I was able to sit outside at one of the tables, since the weather was so nice. Rowley is a quiet town, a real, old, historic place especially on a Sunday morning and I felt like I had gone back in time. I don't know when I'll be back in that area again, but if I'm within 30 or 40 miles of Three Sweet Peas, I'll be back!
