Sergei arrived just before our scheduled time and got to work right away. He was here to install a new outdoor outlet and remove an older outlet no longer in use. The first challenge was the wire he was gonna reuse didn't have any power. Without complaint he quickly got in the crawlspace to investigate. And we located the indoor outlet that it was spliced into. He ended up installing a flush mounted outdoor outlet on the opposite side of the stud. He very carefully drilled and cut into the stucco to make a hole for the outlet box. After he was done he neatly applied outdoor silicone on the box and also did it for another one of my outlets that was missing it! After that I asked him for some advice around my current electrical situation including installing new smart switches and also what it would take to install new can lights in my 1970s home. Overall the price I paid was well worth it! It was the quoted price for the outlet plus some additional materials. To save my time for charging, I decided to set up a dedicated 240V outlet for the level 2 charger in my garage. When I submitted my request to Yelp at 8 PM. Sergei first responded and did the site visit next morning 9 AM. He suggested several options based on his experience. The appointment for installation was made at 9 AM the next day. He showed up on the right time and completed the setup in 2 hours. In particular, he installed 240V-50 AMP circuit but put the 30 AMP circuit breaker to meet my existing mobile charger (30 AMP) limit. He promised he would replace the circuit breaker to 50 AMP for free when I buy a new EV with the bigger battery (over 80 KW).
