I've been going to Westboro nails for the past year and have only had great experiences! Their pedicures last the longest out of multiple salons I've been to in the area. I've had Lynn the past couple of times for dip and she has done an amazing job. Everyone I've had has been good though! My friend invited me to join her for a pedicure in Westborough and I'm so happy I did. Had the most amazing deluxe pedicure (only $45!) and loved it so much I decided to get a manicure as well. This nail salon was recommended to me by my hair stylist. The experience was unpleasant, painful and frustrating. Started out rough, one person visible and she was with a client. She loudly asked what I wanted. I HATE that; get up and speak to me, or have someone at the front desk - don't shout at me from where you are sitting. I said a dip manicure. She then shouted to someone out back who came into view and pointed to a table. Once settled and a color picked she begins to "file" my nail with a rasp (okay it was a VERY rough file) back and forth, back and forth - everyone knows you file in one. direction. only. There is no towel on the table so all the particles are just accumulating there. The nails are gone and now my skin is being filed. No matter what I say she pretends to not understand me. I know she understands English as she is laughing at the Ellen DeGeneres show on the tv behind her. You know what, The whole experience was just so awful I refuse to continue to type it up. So, in bullet form: Poor greeting Bleeding finger tips Unsanitary dipping directly into the jar (it was brand new so I didn't freak) REFUSAL to push back cuticles Hands covered in grit from nail filings and dip powder all over the table Poor execution of the dip product (wavy, uneven thickness) Just left sitting when tech finished and walked away Turns out the place is completely empty except for myself and the loud lady (who is the owner) and her "customer" (who is her husband) because the place has the reputation of having very poor technicians. I have been coming here since last Fall and have had many different people do my nails. They have all done a great job and been very kind and professional. I have gotten gel manicures and regular pedicures. Prices are very reasonable and the salon is very clean. I just came back for the first time since they reopened after being closed for a few months due to covid. I felt very safe here. They have plexi glass at all nail stations, everyone was wearing masks and all customers are asked to sanitize their hands upon entering. I will definitely be back again soon. read more

My first time there and I really enjoyed the experience. They did just do a $5 price increase on all services but even with that my pedicure + gel manicure and design came out to $85. The pedicure was really nice and relaxing felt like I was paying for more but I just asked for the basic. The manicure was also nice the design is not exactly like the photo I showed her but she did do the best she could. I have tried several nail salons over the years, but never felt confident that I found "the one" until I went here! I went with my sister, and we were greeted right when we walked in. We wanted a gel manicure and normal pedicure, so one of the women working there (I didn't catch anyone's names, my apologies) helped us match the polish colors without us even asking for assistance. She also told us right up front how much the services would cost ($55 each), which is something I haven't found at any other salon I've been to. I really appreciated that professional touch because it showed they're clear and honest, and it also allowed us to calculate tip ahead of time. The women who helped us out were both friendly, easy to understand (which is something I really struggle with at other salons), and talented. I didn't feel like I had to chat, which is ideal for me because I like to just zone out and read a magazine when I get my nails done. At one point before I left, my toe nail polish chipped, and my manicurist happily fixed it for me. Just as an added bonus, they accept credit cards and you can include your tip on a card. I have never posted on Yelp before, but I was so impressed and happy with my pedicure that I had to recommend this place to people looking for a good pedi. There are three different types of pedicures ranging from prices $20- $35. I treated myself and got the deluxe one by Ellen today. My feet look and feel great. I had not found a place in central MA that remove the nasty callus on my feet and now they are baby soft and super clean. Not to mention a perfect clean up around the actual nails, it looks like I have a whole new set of toes. I have also gotten a full set acrylic and they've lasted two weeks in mint condition, and I probably won't need a fill for another week. I could go on and on about this place, but I'll wrap things up. The girls are talkative, sweet, and friendly, and you can tip on card!! I have definitely found my new nail spot, to say the least! I have been going to Westboro Nails since November of last year. At the beginning it did not bother me much but I have been getting increasingly uncomfortable to be just a paying customer. There seems to be the inner circle of people that Lana and staff knows by name and the rest are just customers. Lana will entertain the entire salon with her loud conversations with the inner circle friends while she works on them, no regards to others that might want a more relaxing time at her place. The rest of the staff chimes in while working on customers. I am not looking to be part of the inner circle or to be part of conversations but to be valued as customer. I remain nameless, predicted waiting time of 10 minutes could turn into 40 minutes and as I just experienced two days ago, a very late scheduled inner circle customer arrived and I was "deployed" to another table while in process, after I was told that they would not wait for her any more. I complained that my nails did not last week after I got them done. I was told that it was my fault based on my activities using chemicals or other things. I said that I was traveling on vacation and away from housework. The real truth was that the nail tech I had rushed the process because as I later found out her shift has ended and she took me last minute and the job was not properly done, therefore the gel was lifting all around my nails. Lana, Van and staff you could do some work to make customers feel welcome other than saying, "what do you want to have done? pick a color and sit down while the inner circle is welcomed loud voice. I swear that by now I know their names, their friends and family names and too much of their personal life have hear a bit too much about Lana's last trip. Unless you feel that you can make a living just on inner circle friends and the rest of nameless and invisible customers are just some money for rainy days. read more

Had a great pedicure and manicure here. My nails never last with a regular gel manicure, so I've been doing liquid gel for years. Lana convinced me to give her a shot with a gel manicure and I am impressed! With the exception of one nail weakened from the liquid gel removal (not her fault) the manicure has lasted 2 weeks.
