This place is a nightmare. I had gone there to guest dose for 2 years and received my take home…read moredoses exactly how I get them at home. So I planned to go there again this year. When I got there, they CLAIMED they never got my paperwork, made me wait forever and finally I called my home clinic myself and had them resend it. They took my medicare card for 2 weeks of meds. BUT, when I got to the dosing window, they REFUSED TO GIVE ME TAKE HOMES! I explained that I had driven TWO HOURS TO GET THERE, ONE WAY! I explained I am on vacation and couldn't possibly do that! They didn't care ONE BIT! Then, they flat out called me a liar! Told me I was lying about getting take homes from them on previous trips! Here I am 1500 miles from home, and have NO MEDICINE! I was SO upset, scared and ANGRY! The manager, the receptionist, the woman that sits in the office next to the manager and the old crotchety nurse were all HATEFUL AND HORRIBLE to me. They absolutely refused to help me, gave me zero alternatives, called me a liar and just insulted my intelligence and questioned my integrity. I will be writing letters to the state regulators on methadone clinics, the states attorney, the main office for this company, the city of Manchester dept of licensing and anyone else I can think of. Those woman have NO BUSINESS being i jobs that require compassion and caring and actually liking people. Their job is to help people RECOVER! NOT to call them liars, insult them, make them feel like their worthless and like no one cares. I wouldn't go back there if I lived across the street and every one of those nasty women should be FIRED! I am a business owner, Iam educated and I'm not some drug addict looking for a hit. This is FAR from over on my part. Do yourself a favor, transfer to the brand new New Seasons Treatment!! They are awesome, caring and quick! They took me in no questions asked and went out of their way to be caring and nice!! Put Manchester out of business!!!

They all took time to explain everything to me and answered any questions that I had. if you ever need to go to rehab you will not be dissatisfied with Mount Carmel. I was rushed in via ambulance as I had a serious GI issue that could have ruptured turning sepsis…read more I had met my surgeon a few days before after looking for one at other medical hospitals. 2 other ER hospital staff sent me home with no surgeons to consult with. As my pain worsened, 2 Drs. from the other hospitals reached out to the one surgeon, at CMS, who saved me from further pain & complications. Thank goodness he had squeezed me in for our consult. Luckily he was the attending Dr. in ER when I arrived. The staff in ER were spread thin. My vitals were taken and I got water and warm blankets about 90 minutes a part. After a few hours I saw my surgeon and he did the surgery the next morning. No time was chosen but, they got me in a 2 hour time slot, luckily. Usually that does not happen. I spent 5 days in the hospital. The staff of nurses were very busy. I was checked on for meals & meds. They were all helpful and caring. Custodial cleaning was delayed when it came to my bathroom. But they came in once a day. IMPORTANT TO KNOW... I had asked the floor nurse, to please take my emergency contact info. I was told someone would be in from resource. She didn't come till I was in the O.R. being prepped for sedation!! Telling me a family member is on file from 10 years ago, she refused to listen to my update & left! That certainly caused stress for me immediately & the family members who were waiting for news not getting any information. The hospital refused to give out info to my family who called. Not all family has kept in touch with each other, sadly. No calls were made to any one. I guess they would have called if I had died. HEADS UP, Write your info on the dry erase board in your hospital room! Sign your name next to it. Be sure they take your information correctly and currently! CMC is out of network for my insurance yet, prices for the Emergency room was much less than another local hospital that is on my plan! There is good and bad with any company you experience. Being medical it was more personal for me. I was fortunate to get the surgery & care needed. In closing It's hard to say all is good. I only had a fraction of exposure there. I know the AI system and owners of the hospital have changed the medical platform of how things are handled. Transitioning has consequences. It's a business. Anyone working in the medical field has a calling to save lives. Yet, it is a worthy skill to balance compassion with success.

My significant other went to hanover hills rehab in Manchester NH, he was there for about 3 weeks…read more The medical issue that put him there did clear up, BUT when he came home there was a HUGE hole in his other foot and up his leg. I was told he had a couple blisters which caused this problem. He was unable to walk, I was told he was mobile and could go home. When the hospice nurse came to the house, and my first time seeing his foot I cried, even the nurse had NEVER seen anything like his foot and leg, we also found fingernail imprints behind his thigh, this was not from him. I don't know what ABUSE went on in this rehab, but, I certainly am going to try to find out. Please do NOT take anyone you love or care about to this HORRIBLE PLACE. Susan O.

I wish I could go into detail fully. I also want to include I truly do not believe the poor quality of care some clients experience has anything to do with the therapists. I am certain that it has everything to do with management, training provided, and the work environment. If you went here for help and had a bad experience please do not let that stop you from seeking services in the future elsewhere. My therapist was supportive, professional, and provided quality care. My concerns are not with my…read moretherapist, but with the administrative and leadership side of the practice. I experienced multiple billing and scheduling issues that ultimately interfered with my access to care. In one instance, I received notice of a reprocessed invoice on a Thursday evening and my appointment scheduled for the following Monday was cancelled the next day, leaving less than one business day to address the balance before the weekend. In another instance, I attended a scheduled therapy appointment, an invoice was generated after midnight, and my future appointments were cancelled the following morning due to non-payment. What was most disappointing was the response when I attempted to discuss these concerns. Rather than acknowledging the timing issues or the impact on continuity of care, the responses focused primarily on policy enforcement. I was surprised to later learn that the individual responding was the CEO and founder of the practice. I understand the importance of billing policies and have consistently paid for services, including carrying a high-deductible insurance plan where I am responsible for the full cost of care until my deductible is met. My concern was never about paying for treatment. It was about receiving reasonable notice, accurate billing, and having a fair opportunity to resolve issues before appointments were cancelled. I also experienced billing discrepancies that required me to proactively request credits after my insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) had already been finalized. These adjustments were not identified or communicated by the practice, and I was required to reconcile the charges myself and request the appropriate credits. This contributed to my concerns regarding the accuracy and oversight of the billing process. I hope the practice reviews its billing communication, reconciliation procedures, and cancellation practices so future patients do not experience similar disruptions to their mental health care.

I'm a senior who has been having some problems with my legs, I think it has to do with veins in my…read morelegs. So called my povider Elliot Family Medicine to ask to speak to a nurse. I was told a nurse would call me back, did not get call back that day. I received a message on my home phone the next day, I was not home that day and called the following day to try to speak to the nurse, I was told she was not available, so waited to see if the nurse would call me back. But they didn't, so called the next day and I asked if I could speak to nurse. I was told she was not available. When I called again the next day to again try speak to a nurse, the person who picked up the phone said OK I will make it a priority for 1 of the 2 nurses to call you back. Well that never happened. So I am now going with another health care provider, which I have already signed up with. It has do nothing with Dr. Shahin, he is a good doctor, it the personnel that works there, especially one of their nurses. I had a problem with one of them back in December of 2025. To make a my complaint short against this nurse, I winded up going to the emergency room. I get yearly physicals at this practice every year in December and the last one I had was in December 2025. I was told today that I am not on their schedule to have my yearly physical, so they never scheduled me to have one. What the HECK ????
