This place is horrible, and they do not treat customers as well. First on my arrival, I told the person who was taking down the notes for the different things that I wanted to detail in my car and showed him what area I needing specifically to be looked at and he told me that they don't detail, but then wrote a note saying they would look at it and do somethingThen I was trying to explain to him that I didn't know which package would be best for me because I didn't want or need a shampoo of the carpet in my vehicle. He then suggested the lowest cost thing which means that they will not wipe down anything in the inside of your car not even the council or the dashboard or anything. Once I got back to my car the first thing I noticed was three different gooey items on the top of my car one of them I even touched and was like ill. They had to quickly come and fix that once inside I could tell they did not vacuum well nor did they try to get any of the dust or any of the debris where they had said that they would try to concentrate. I also paid a $10 extra for them to clean the mats of my car which was not a good job. Upon looking at the fact that they hadn't really vacuumed. I went to the person who takes the orders which was a new person he comes back and he's like OK. Let me get somebody for you and I believe the guy who I tipped nine dollars before getting into my car comes back in a rush with a wet rag and hands and so then they speak in Spanish in front of me. Then the person with the wet rag and hands proceeds to take the wet rag attempt of fee attempt of drain, releasing some of the water, and then proceeds to put the wet rag in my vehicle, getting my seat wet in the floor. He gets out and has an attitude and said here is that good and so I just told him off and said look, you already wet my seat. Please leave. I will never be going back there and I'm still looking for a good detail there for cars because I really need to get one area focused on where my coffee dropped in splashed all over.. read more

The 1 Star is SOLELY for someone going INSIDE the (clicked closed) armrest door and TAKING something that didn't belong to them. My car is only a year old, and I intentionally keep it as empty as possible, but ahead of a car wash, I make sure any little thing in the center console area is put away so that none of my belongings get in the way of them doing a good job. With that said, I have no idea what would prompt anyone to open this compartment (or the glovebox for that matter). However, today, they did just that and took a bag of cookies. Do I care about the cookies? Absolutely not. Do I care that *something* was taken by someone you pay $150+ to clean your car? Without question! While I do not keep anything of true value in my car (we live in a major city), it still feels like a violation. I called a few hours after I left when I noticed it and spoke to the Assistant Manager, Angel. As I expect any manager to do, he tried looking for an explanation. Asking if it was possibly on the floor or saying it was likely an accident. Then, after checking their trash can, he saw that the bag was in there. Not sure that I'll ever be back, but either way, this is a behavior that needs to be "nipped in the bud" and addressed. It's a reasonable expectation that people you trust with your vehicle will be honest. Before today, I would've rated them 4/5 stars for their wash. They do a decent job. I sometimes find water spots or streaks on the mirror, and the wait is crazy, but I either shop, work, or entertain myself. Westchester Hand Wash has gone downhill. I was a customer at this establishment for years. I went again for the first time in a while and paid $40 for the classic car wash. When my car was "finished" I noticed that the floor on passenger side hadn't been vacuumed. I returned to the car wash for them to vacuum it. (P.S. They no longer wash the mats with the classic wash, but are supposed to vacuum.) After the second run, I proceeded to drive home. Then I realized that my backseat still had crumbs on it, along with my cup holders, and a dirty dash board and steering wheel. This was my second time driving back for minimal resolution. The manager told me that this was not the norm, but that if I wanted my car cleaned better I should have paid for the $100 car wash. I spent $40 and my time (driving back twice) to go home with a dirty car. The have lost a customer of years. I do not recommend this car wash. read more

I keep trying to give this place a chance (not too many car washes in this area), but they are terrible - I have an older Mercedes that I value very much and expect to be taken care of when leaving it in their care for 1.5 hours (very long wait times). I went in on Sunday got a decent wash and today noticed that someone took off my Mercedes logo from my gear - there's no way this is wear and tear. You can see it was pulled off with intent and force. If by any chance it was an accident, they should have mentioned it and given it back. I'm honestly so sad to be updating my once glowing five star review of Westchester Hand Wash. This used to be my go-to car wash, I even called it "The Best Wash in the West" back in 2022. The staff were hardworking, prices were reasonable, and my car always came out sparkling making it all worth the wait. I'd even grab a coffee or bagel while waiting (they previously partnered with Brooklyn Water Bagel for a free treat!), and I never minded the long lines because the quality and service were worth it. Unfortunately, things have really, really changed. I've had two lackluster washes recently and my most recent visit was the final straw. I truly believe the original crew - the ones who made this place truly shine - are gone and it feels like the business may have changed ownership. Prices have gone up significantly, but the attention to detail has dropped just as sharply. The little touches that made it special (the friendly service, the air freshener, the free bagel partnership, even the 24 hour guarantee) are all gone. It pains me to say it but between the steep prices and the mediocre results, I just can't justify coming back. The woman who greeted me went over all the options for the car wash and explained the different areas they cover, which I thought was very kind and helpful. I came early in the morning right when they opened, so there was no line. My car was finished in about 40 minutes. The seating area is comfortable, clean, and has Wi-Fi (though I just used my own hotspot). It's a nice setup while you wait. I am so disappointed. I have come here for years now. About 5 months ago I had a horrible experience where the car wasn't left clean and the manager tried to fix it by giving me a free car wash for the next time . I used it and it was still left dirty but didn't say anything as it was free. Well today I decided to give them another shot. What a mistake. I paid $39.99 for the car wash + $20 to shampoo the floor and $10 to clean the dashboard + Tip. Over $70!!!!! I got my car and the whole middle console was still filthy . I had to go get the guy and ask him to clean it . I had them throw my mats away so they could clean the floor of the car good but to my disappointed it was still dirty they couldn't even take out a jelly candy that had stuck to the floor. The dashboard is still dirty the floor still has dirt the seats are still dirty they weren't even wiped. I really wanted to love my local car wash, however they left me disappointed. They charge extra for SUVs, but they failed to clean the roof of my SUV leaving dirt and debris along the top. I almost decided it was fine, but then I noticed they had not even cleaned the bug splatter that had been on the driver's side of the windshield. They had one more strike that really settled how silly I felt paying $45 for car wash only to have to clean it myself again. They wipe down the interior of the car during the wash, during which they splashed cleaning supplies on the inside of the windshield. Long story short, took car for a wash, and they left a minor scratch. When I asked them to buff it out, they claimed it was there before the wash, and wanted to charge me. No, jackass, it was not. And they did not do their usual pre-inspection to note any blemishes on body of car.
