The relationship between Scarborough Glen and Westchester Property Management (WPMG) goes back 16 years, and counting. We are happy to comment and share about our experience. Scarborough Glen is a 136 units GDC property. Our first property management company left us wanting. In researching the various options, it was evident that we needed WPMG. From first contact to the present the customer service experience has been nothing less than polite, professional and most importantly knowledgeable. John LaMorte has built up an incredible staff. The Finance team is nothing short of first rate. Whether managing the day to day financial transactions, or creating and advising on the annual budget reviews, their abilities are top notch. Financial reports are prepared and sent promptly. The Property Manager (PM) team is first rate. We have had the good fortune to work with incredible people, especially Maureen O'Hagan. The PM's are charged with everything you can imagine. They have excellent relationships with contractors, engineers and residents alike. As a community we have undertaken large and small projects, and WPMG knows how to make the correct recommendations. More importantly, WPMG knows what is required for insurance and legal purposes. They will not, and do not make the decisions. They present the Board with options, and based on knowledgeable experience, guide the process until the Board makes the decisions. The staff of WPMG are true examples of what customer service is all about. Sure, they have an automated service, for afterhours emergencies, but they need to have that. Who would want a 9-5 only agent? They always return calls, whether by phone or email. Yes, emails. They are technology savvy. Emails are sent to all residents whenever necessary to publish or make the community aware of what is happening. Payment methodology includes the option of electronic payments in addition to the traditional check methods. There is a reason why Scarborough Glen maintains the relationship with WPMG. Westchester Property Management Group is an amazing management company. I am the treasurer of my condo board and I have had nothing but pure professionalism, bundled in with extreme knowledge, and the willingness to have the best interest of our condominium at the forefront. They are always looking to see where they can save us money, while keeping with the integrity of the things we require. When you call or email them, they are prompt to return your calls or emails. The most pleasant people you could ever want to meet. My board had a long horror with our previous management company. It was a pure nightmare. This lasted for some time. When Westchester Property Management step into the picture, it was like a breath of fresh air. Like I was living a dream. My previous experience with our other management company had me and our board in such discord that it aged us quite a bit...LOL. But honestly I have had nothing but an amazing experience with this company that I would recommend them to any board looking for fantastic management services. I have been president for our 52 unit condominium in Chappaqua for 4 years, WPMG was interviewed along with 5 other firms. They have been excellent. We have had many property management companies in the last 30 years, they have all been terrible.They lie, cheat and steal any thing they can. They have squandered thousands of dollars from our reserves. Before we hired WPMG nothing was ever done, invoices were inflated, real estate agency did not want to come to our community in 3 years we have sold 20 units. From day one that we hired WPMG they have improved our quality of life for all our unit owners. From day one our property manager John R has guided us through many small and large project and have us given very efficient vendors that have saved us thousands of dollars. We have great communication with our property manager John R and the other members or his team. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with or for this company. It is extremely poorly managed, with leadership that creates a stressful and unprofessional environment. The owner exhibits clear control issues and consistently oversteps boundaries with employees. There is an expectation to be available at all hours, with constant texting and pressure to respond immediately--even well outside of normal working hours. This lack of respect for personal time makes it difficult to maintain any kind of work-life balance. From a client perspective, the company appears reactive rather than proactive. There is little genuine care for client relationships unless there's a risk of losing business. When dissatisfaction surfaces, the response is often superficial--offering to pay for a meal or send a gift--rather than addressing the underlying issues. Overall, the culture is driven by micromanagement, poor leadership, and short-term damage control instead of accountability or long-term improvement. read more

In this time, we have a property to be proud of and sought after. With their amazing leadership, highly qualified back office team, and superior property manager our building has secured an excellent superintendent, gotten our facade repaired and new windows. The accounting team helped us with balancing our budget and mortgage refinancing when needed as well as making sure our resources/finances are well accounted for and accessible. I have been the Treasurer of my Condominium for over 25 years. We have had WPMC as our property management company for over 20 years. Neediest to say that I, and the entire community, have had a great relationship with them. They have always been responsive to all of our needs. From the beginning, Maureen O'Hagan has been the property manager assigned to our property, and in a nutshell the best way to describe her, is she is extremely knowledgeable and "she cares". We have 85 townhouses and 40 apartments on our property, and I truly believe that WPMC has helped us maintain the reputation of having one of the finest properties in Westchester. We hired WPMG about a year ago to manage our mixed-use commercial facility in Westchester New York. We have 34 tenants, which utilize 200,000 SF of office and industrial space across 5 buildings, in addition to a 300 car parking garage. We have found WPMG to very capable, full of good ideas and very responsive to us all the time. The Property Manager, Laura Sevener is excellent and a pleasure to work with. We have found their accounting departments to be outstanding, hard-working and responsive to all of our needs. Their Controller, Jody Ventrudo is first-rate! WPMG has been the property management company for our Homeowners Association for at least the seventeen years I have been in residence here. We are a group of 40 private homes in a gated community. I have been on the Board for nine years, and have been President for the past five. WPMG has been a guiding hand for us with our dealings with service providers of all sorts -- advising on contracts, insurance and proposals of all sorts. They have also been very good communicators with our home owners, not all of whom are easy to deal with. For the last 22 years WPMG has been the managing agent of our 250 family Home Owner's Association. They have provided this community with the most outstanding services. As someone who has been elected to serve as president of the board I receive daily communications from residents about all aspects of our vendor services. WPMG has been our property managing company for our co-op in Hartsdale since the 1990's. We are a mid-rise consisting of 123 apartments, all owned by Shareholders. They have guided us through many large and small capital improvements over the years in a successful manner.
