They charged me $279 dollars to align the hydraulics and replace a band, $149 to rotate blades and an additional $40 to sharpen dull blades. They just tried to haggle my team for additional funds. I have called and spoken to the Service manager, and he has no clue as to what's going on or time frames to complete a repair. We rely on skilled labor to complete an effective repair, but it's such a waste of time and resources to deal with unprofessional shops such as this one. Technician came out again to fix it, was very rushed, made comments about not having the proper tools and left. Long story short, my forklift still leaks, now smokes while running and is worse shape than before. Fix-all did me a favor and sent another tech out to diagnose (for free, thanks) the new problems and I got a $4k estimate to fix it again. Wait, why wouldn't that be in my first estimate so I could make a better decision on what to do? Seems odd to me. As life presents, the owner ended up getting sick. This necessitated talking to other members of the National Equipment Sales Team. We will leave it at polite, representations were made about equipment condition that were at best misleading. With finance having been completed on the machine, worse, I growing in doubt; sent a quality and known feild service entity to inspect the dozer. As kind as I can make it.... Holy Cow, National Equipment is a bunch of hacks--selling pretty much abused and abandoned equipment. The report I got back on a supposedly working machine was just absolutely disappointing. Motor in rough shape, plastic pails over rotting muffler with stack missing, oil leaks on final drives, fan belts that are beyond service life, rusted service access panels. I even gave the company a chance to redeem themselves and cover half the cost of the service related items. Bottom line, if you are looking at buying hardware from BuyDozers.com--run as fast as you can.
