What a great staff. Never like getting these anyway but they made me feel comfortable and at home and I was able to cut up with them a bit as a prep me for the procedure well keeping the office safe during the pandemic with limited patients having exposure around each other. Arrived an hour early and filled out the paperwork I got called in a little early to meet with the anesthesiologist and will review the protocols and procedures. Excellent staff made me feel comfortable and I never was excited or stressed but what was about to come. I always love it when the anesthesiologist says you can count back from 100 and you really don't even make 99 so I was happy to wake up after the procedure only taking 20 minutes to complete and another 15 minutes for the anesthesia to wear off so I could leave. My son waited in the car as all other drivers or people waiting were forced to do to keep the lobby area clear of crowds. We were right next to Zaxby's so he simply grabbed a bite to eat waited in the car and I was out in short time and on the way home. I had no uncomfortable experiences and waited in till the next day to eat a pretty good meal because I was starving! I haven't got the bill yet but regardless this was a great staff great location very clean very happy with their service. Highly recommend!

Everything is top notch care here. I've had a few upper GI's…read moredone here due to GERD/EoE. Never any complaints with staff or care. Good communication pre-procedure for prep and the upper GI only takes a half hour or so. The billing dept is another issue. They get confused themselves over what balance is due compared to prepay upfront so that it becomes confusing if you are paying double or have yet to pay. Every time the desk staff has to call "Billie in accounting" at patient check-in to verify payment of any balance due. And you get two bills each visit, one from GEA and one from Greenville Endoscopy Center. It could be much easier. One master bill (you sub out the other stuff GEA, so it's your responsibility) and only pay for services rendered, so it's one time. Not copay or prepay etc. But the staff is very apologetic about it, they know it's a challenge because they cannot access that computer screen. But I'd recommend them for the work, care, doctors.

No followup appointment mentioned. No prescription was ever called in by the doctor or hospital. Worst of all, I am being treated for a rare bleeding disorder which requires quarterly blood work to ensure that another Halo procedure is not immediately needed. No blood tests have been ordered. The doctor was either clueless about my disease or just didn't care. No one from the doctors office or hospital ever called to see how I was feeling after the procedure or that the prescription for medicine I was supposed to take was called in. If I could give this practice zero stars I would.
