The worst dental office I've ever been to. Lack of front desk help. Patients comments in waiting room all negative. Very long wait times 4-5 hrs according to existing patients. Not very aesthetically appealing. The dentist was very unpleasant with absolutely horrible bedside manner and appeared to lack the experience to pull a tooth that 2 other tertiary university dentists said could be pulled without damaging the existing bridge. She was on a call, so I waited patiently. Had an appt to have 2 tiny cavities done. The dentist was constantly being g interrupted every 5 minutes by the girls in the office with questions. He had just frilled holes for the cavities and was interrupted again. He turned light off and said rest for a bit and left me. He returns and finishes me up. Water hose was leaking so my hole arm was wet, shirt and shorts. I mentioned it and was told it does that sometimes lol...perhaps you should have it looked at. That night I go to floss and can't get floss out...It was very hard and wasn't sanded down properly! Quick Summary: This place is a mill, nothing more, nothing less. Look for a better dentist office if you have the option. My expectations were already low... and my experience rated even lower. Ann Malotky was rude to us and her staff. She performed un-necessary x-rays and casts and stated my teeth were not worth saving. Her office filed our insurance incorrectly twice, stating we had another insurance company. Wrong! Then after I cleared up the insurance issue her office would not re-fund me. I did end up getting another dentist and my teeth were in good shape, only had 2 surface cavities which I had my new dentist repair. I went to Western Dental a few years ago, and again today out of pure necessity. They lost my x-ray records immediately after performing them the first time I was there and had to re-take them, which really hurt my mouth. I also waited for over an hour and a half on a table for my cleaning that I never received which was the whole reason for the scheduled appointment. Today, I got there for my appointment, filled out the paperwork, and then after waiting for half an hour was told that the dentist had an emergency and that the x-ray tech was about to go home for the day so they were not able to take me back to perform any work. Another woman they were also turning away said this sort of thing happens every time she's in and she's never gotten a successful appointment from them. I waited two months for this appointment and was rescheduled but will not be returning. The people at the front desk have been nice, but that's the absolute only positive thing I can say. My care was good. The problem I have is the waiting. You arrive on time for your appointment and wait at least 20 to 30 minutes to be called back. Then you sit and wait usually another 20 to 30 minutes if not more to be seen. It's difficult to lose so much time, especially if you have to get to work or have other things to take care of. Do they over book their appointments? Do they need more than one Dentist working at a time to accommodate the patient flow? No one likes to have their time wasted. read more

I have 2 daughters, one of which has had a horrible tooth ache and had not slept in 3 days and when I took them to their appointments which I had made 4 months prior they were turned away because I didn't have their medical cards in hand, they refused to look them up in the system and tagged them as no shows. The red head at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. Mind you I drove over 100 miles to be their. I was waiting on the medical cards in the mail and the medical worker even said that putting their ssn in would work. So, today July 30th @8:30am I got a call from Western Dental saying they are under staffed and have to re-schedule our son again to October 3rd!! Honestly after hearing people I know/reviews I don't think they deserve even one star. I had an appointment for a cleaning today after being pushed out 3 months. I was waiting over an hour and a half to be called back. I started asking around how long the people next to me had been waiting (waiting room was full) every person I had asked said that they had been there waiting for at least 1hr-2.5hrs and were obviously not happy about it. After hearing everyone's responses I got up and left. I lost hope and was afraid I would be late for work at that point. Before leaving I walked up to the receptionist who was on the phone. I waited a few minutes for her to get off the phone and maybe try to schedule another appointment. She didn't make eye contact or acknowledge me waiting. Back in August, (2019/ I tried to get an appointment. I was told that they were not taking any business because of the pandemic. Finally in December, I made an appointment for February 10, at 10:00. I was on there time and told I didn't have an appointment. I was then rescheduled for MAY 1. TWO DAYS LATER I received a text message that I MISSED my appointment. Would I like to reschedule.? I call the number provided and explained what happened. I was offered an appointment for MAY 4! THREE DAYS LATER?!?!? Jump to April 2022. I was finally able to get an appointment in late March where I had one tooth filled and was told I needed a root canal. Scheduled for April 22 for this procedure. I went in, x-rays were taken and then I was told they did not perform root canals at that location. I was given an 800 number to find someone who did and was covered by my insurance (Medicare and Medical) Useless! Out of town travel made this impossible. Then to add insult to injury I was given an appointment for a cleaning in June. My tooth is rotting and they don't give a damn. It is my considered opinion that Western Dental is incapable of finding their ass with both hands. read more

So they took out 1881.60 when I didn't give them permission to take out that much. They VOIDED that amount then 2 mins later they took it out again. Then told me I would have to have my bank dispute the amount, no it's on them not my bank. So now they tell me it will take up to 4 weeks before I get my money. No one that works here seems to care that it takes hours to be seen after the time of the appointment. Multiple times I've sat in the lobby for 90+ minutes and only one or two people get seen in that time and they've been there for hours already.
