This is a charity store where they receive donations to sell. We have gotten some very good deals here. They have everything from furniture, appliances, clothing etc. to drugstore items and food. Some of the foods are expired or close to it but if you don't mind that there are plenty of great deals. Western Eagle receives donations from places like Whole Foods, CVS, Target, etc. Each day they have a fresh food box that you can pick up for $15. You get refrigerated items and fresh produce. A few things in the box are shelf stable. It's a wonderful deal for people on a food budget. Many times they have free items with purchase such as Krispy Kreme doughnuts, fruits, veggies and various other items. Last summer we got flats of free fresh tomatoes and canned tomato sauce. It's always a new experience here because there are always new items. read more

I used to go here years ago and decided to try it again. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of food items available at a discounted price (there are household items as well). I know others have mentioned expired food, but I did not notice that. Some items were smashed (cookies/crackers) and boxes weren't perfect, but otherwise it was pretty good deals. Of course, know the prices at the regular stores as some items can be bought for less when on sale in the grocery store. The day we went, they were even giving away 5 heads of organic broccoli with purchase, which was delicious. You can even buy food boxes for $20 (each week is different). There might not be something there you want to buy each time you visit, but it is worth checking them out. read more

first time going and within 15 ish min they publicly berated a minor volunteer for going upstairs and consisted with the yelling in front of everyone. he was a volunteer and didnt even know his name or that he was there for 8 hours. there was no signage on what produce i can get so at the end i was told i couldnt buy certain products and that it was a "package deal" but no one told me anything nor was there signage. i was only offered the deal after i put everything away already. this place is definitely interesting and i wish it was in a good way. wont be going back. read more

I have found great discounts on items I can't afford in the regular stores I especially like the beverages when on sale I buy as much as I can afford My thinking is buy shopping there I am helping people who need help, besides myself. TikTok brought me here. I drove from San Jacinto to check this place out. We looked at a lot of items..good portion of it all is past the best buy date. I did get two free packs of hamburger buns though. Pricing for items were near store pricing on some items but the good deals were on products (chocolates/chips/snacks etc ) with some dating Best Buy May/june 2025 etc . The fresh produce box for $20.. everything looked fresh and good but I didn't not purchase since I did not need any. We did find a lovely vase from target for $8 which is why I gave some stars. I purchased some animal cracker box for my daughter and it was priced at .25cents on the item but they charged me .75 instead. I did buy some chips that were fine on the date but they were stale maybe cause the container (similar container like a Pringle container) was dented but appeared fine. read more

We were introduced to Western Eagle about 5 years ago and have been fans ever since. The staff is amazing and we love being greeted like old friends by the people we have gotten to know there. The cause is good and it's a transition work place for many people who may not have employment given their current life issues. For that we are thankful. I seen this place on IG and heard someone promoted it on Tic Tok as well. It says they have tons of fresh produce for free. Honestly don't waste your time. They get different items each week that are free. They are old items stores are trying to get rid of before they go bad. They sell other items in the store. All food items are expired or about to expire. The only good things I say was furniture. You can get some discounted items for your house that are used or slightly used. They have decor, patio furniture, pictures, and other items. It's worth a shot you might find something you need. But I do not recommend any produce or food. read more

The smell is very overwhelming- realized it due to rotting fruits and vegetables. The $20 box is a great deal - IF they had what was stated in the boxes and the restocked vegetables that were not moldy, infested with fruit flies or complete mush from rot. The staff was not helpful at all and the lady was almost rude. For what I did get it was still a good deal, but not able to make a meal from what was gotten. Overall would I go back? Yes, maybe try and hit a different day and maybe try with a staff member that would be willing to help me figure out what I get in the box since the box and board did not match. read more

These items are just as expensive as in a regular grocery store. Some items are about to expire in a couple of days for the price that they charge. The store is dirty. Shopping in the store like shopping in a regular grocery store. Everything is expensive.. Will not come here again. I'm Senior on disability income. Western eagle helps me with my grocery budget. I shop there first before going to grocery store, most of the time i find everything I need on my grocery list saves me o bundle of money. When I'm there I also get every time free groceries with purchase. Last time was whole case of hot house organic tomatoes. I give some to my neighbor and the rest I preserve for lather use. I was told this was the best little secret in town. And let me tell you THEY AINT LYING!!!!! Let me start by a little back story. My husband and I recently came to Temecula from N. County SD. His job changed and so did mine. He was diagnosed with cancer for the second time late summer 2023. So he was out of work for a minute. I was the bread winner. So I went on a deap dive on how to find help with some bills and things. Disability was and is a definite nightmare so while we dealt with that issue funds were running low low low. . . I found this organization just scrolling threw stuff. I didn't get a chance to check this place out until today. Rainy and cold my husband and I (who is cancer free now btw). We decided let's go look. If you want to stock up your pantry come here! If you want deals on EVERYTHING go see these guys. You do have to bring your own bags for shopping to make the experience a little easier. But that should be a normal thing now a days. They have a 20$ box. The box varies day to day but it's really a big amount of food. Also fresh veggies. And pantry staples you can actually use. (I didn't get a chance to take pics this time but I will next time). Don't think you are walking into Costco or stater Bros. It's not that fancy. But it is quaint and nice. And the people that work there are FANTASTIC! They were so wonderful to me and my husband. The staff is not only friendly, knowledgeable & caring but provide families in need the necessities like food and health items. Every week they give away FREE items (just follow their social pages to discover) ~ The discounted items are the lowest prices I've ever shopped (and I'm a BIG SHOPPER) - A must see & shop is the Home Decor area complete with items that are in store now but with huge cost saving prices! The value and price have been seriously underwhelming in the last year or two. Needless markups on food that sits for too long. We really liked to shop here to support the cause/community but am finding us shopping elsewhere as prices are no longer even competitive. The food box does not "feed a family of 4 for a week" like they'd claimed- this could be improved if WE held more for the food boxes than they sent to distribution. Have had incidents of bug infestations in shelved food before but just threw it away to not deal with any hassle. Please improve the contents of the food box. The price increase and lessening contents really damper the impact that it could make to the community. read more

I've been shopping this store since it was at the other location. There are lots of deals. Some of the prices are great deals and others not so great. A lot of items are past best buy dates and so freshness isn't always there. Medications are less than others stores but prices are still high compared to the past. First Saturdays use to be 50% off most things in the store. I felt that helped clear out shelves and rotate stock. Employees are very friendly. Furniture is marked down but too high for the damage some of the items have. I recommend the $20 box. Double check if veggies are still fresh before buying. Unfortunately not always the case. Sign up on Instagram to see daily items included in the box. Some days it is full of treasures sometimes lacking of substantial food. I must say that we do enjoy coming to western eagle for their cold box. Many of the reviews state that the food is expired. If it is expired pay attention to what is and do a little research on how long expired can be before actually throwing it away. The vegetables and fruits in the cold box are hit or miss. I tend to go when they post a healthy looking photo on Instagram. The fruits and vegetables need to be eaten first, and within a couple of days or frozen since they will go bad. I have not had a problem with their customer service either. It's a warehouse, and little unorganized. The prices are hit or miss and you have to pay attention to what's actually cheaper, which is fine if you don't mind spending eh extra 10 minutes to do so not everything you will get in the cold box is eatable, but for $15 even if it's half of the box it's worth it if your trying to save a penny or two or 10. read more

Ok, the furniture prices seem a little high. And there is no way that I would buy anything that I can not sit in first. And yes, the food can not be stored for long as it is about to reach it's marked expiration date. But, expiration dates, do not mean that the food has gone bad. You get a ton of food for twenty-five bucks when you purchase a cold box. Again, the fruit and veggies are for immediate use. But, it is still a deal when you have kids that can clear a packed fridge in less then a few days. Yes, I have found things that seem to be marked high considering the store. But, I have also gotten some incredible deals on everything from beauty cream to a weight set. The staff can be hit or miss. But, customer service is VERY important to me, and it has not been so bad that I would not recommend this place, or keep me from returning. read more
